      • 효과적 Thumbnail Sketch 교육을 위한 실습모델 개발에 관한 연구

        디자이너는 자신의 생각 속에 존재하는 이미지를 타인과 교류하는 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 Idea Sketch, Rendering, Design Drawing, Mockup의 시각적 표현기술을 사용한다. 특히, Idea Sketch 과정은 신속한 그래픽적 표현기술로 디자인 concept과 디자이너의 직관적 형상 Idea를 타인에게 설명할 수 있는 기술로 디자이너가 되려고 하는 학습자들에게 대단히 중요하게 인식되어야 하며 체계적인 교육을 통해 디자인 목적에 부합하는 다양한 표현능력을 갖추도록 해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 Thumbnail Sketch 표현기술의 습득을 위해 기초단계부터 원활한 완성단계까지의 스케치 실습교육 모델을 제시하고자 하였다. Designer uses visual expression technology of Idea Sketch, Rendering, Design Drawing, Mockup etc. by communication means to communicate image which exist in own thinking with another person. Specially, Idea Sketch process must do should be realized very heftily to learners who is going to be designer by technology that can explain design concept and intuitive shape Idea of designer to another person by graphical expression technology which is quick and possesses various expression ability that coincide in design purpose through systematic education. Wished to present sketching practice education model from basis step to smooth completion step for learning of effective Thumbnail Sketch expression technology in this research.

      • 인트라넷 도메인 구성을 이용한 글꼴관리시스템

        Importance of font system in design work is received wider appreciation for the reason that which can emphasize the originality and variety of industrial design presentation. Accordingly many kinds of font system is in the brisk development stage. So, the memory of computer system such as main memory(ram), peripheral device (hard disk) needs lot of space to save and control the fonts. Because of that, computer system shows a drop in efficiency. In this study, I develop the user interface system to solve the problem that I mentioned before. Developed font system is based on world wide web protocol called http. And followings are the kernel of approaching method. (1) use internet and interanet domain concept to control access permission (2) use file server to save all kinds of sharing fonts to raise the efficiency of client design system (3) let the users can select and simulate the aspect of fonts by checking font graphic image samples in internet web page.

        Among several methods of industrial design, rendering is the most appropriate 2 dimensional represention technique which allows designers to communicate invisible image to others visually. Especially, in case of product design, rendering is applicable process and representing method that use function of computer graphics effectively, because if its main object of design work or object of presentation should be 3 dimensional form mostly. Regarding label mapping technique which adds photo-realistic effects in 3 dimensional rendering presentation and represents complex image by simple geometry, here shows the actual method of procedures through the project named "tablet & digitazing pen" in this study. The followings are the hardware and the software that used in this study. Hardwere : Iris indigo Softwere : Alias Power Animator

        웹 커뮤니티와 소셜네트워크 서비스 기반의 혼합형 산업디자인 교육 구조설계를 위한 사례연구

        The recent emergence of Mobile Web 2.0, which introduced mobility to Web 2.0 described as the culture of participation and sharing, has brought the development and spread of various social network services represented by Twitter and Facebook. In addition, the combination of participation and sharing based on Web 2.0 and mobile individuality is creating diverse mobile Web cultures continuously. As a result, in the field of education, the concept of online and offline is being switched to the concept of on‐class and off‐class depending on whether education is conducted through collective face‐to‐face class in a lecture hall or through activities outside the lecture hall. Based on such changes in computer technologies, the area of industrial design has steadily applied computer systems because the area requires abilities to perceive general social trends, to understand consumers’ responses to designed objects and manufacturing technologies, to conceive and visualize ideas based on such information, and to present expected results in objective materials and methods. While the desktop computer technology has improved visual expression techniques in the industrial design area, we can say that the combination of the mobile Internet and social networks can diversify and solidify infrastructures related to design education. This study proposed a method for designing the structure of integrating and operating various education methods with practical courses by utilizing Web communities and social network services based on application cases of the Blended Learning technique in the subject [Ideation & Sketching]. 최근, 참여와 공유의 문화로 설명되는 웹 2.0기술에 모바일의 이동성을 접목시킨 모바일웹 2.0의 등장은 Twitter와 Facebook의 시대로 설명되는 다양한 Social Network Service의 개발과 사용자층의 확산을 가져왔으며, 웹 2.0이 지닌 참여와 공유의 특성과 모바일의 개인성이 어우러져, 지속적으로 다양한 모바일 웹 문화가 창출되고 있다. 이에 따라 교육분야에 있어서도 온라인, 오프라인의 적용 개념이 강의실에서 집단적인 면대면 수업을 진행하는가 아니면 강의실 외부에서의 교육활동을 하는가에 따라 On-class, Off-class의 관점으로 바뀌고 있다. 이러한 컴퓨터기술의 변화를 기반으로, 산업디자인분야는 전반적인 사회의 트렌드의 인식으로부터 디자인 대상물에 대한 소비자들의 반응, 생산 기술에 대한 이해, 이러한 정보를 기초로 하는 아이디어 발상과 효과적인 시각화 기술 그리고 그 예상 결과를 객관적인 자료와 방법으로 제시하여야 하는 다양한 능력을 요구한다는 점에서 꾸준히 컴퓨터시스템의 기술을 접목시켜왔다. 데스크탑 컴퓨터의 기술이 산업디자인 분야의 시각적 표현 기술을 향상시켰다면 모바일인터넷과 사회관계망의 결합은 산업디자인의 교육 관련 인프라를 다양하고 견고하게 할 수 있다고 본다. 본 연구에서는 웹 커뮤니티와 소셜네트워크 서비스를 활용한 다양한 교육 방법을 실습 과정과 통합하여, 운영할 수 있도록 교육 구조를 설계하는 방법을 [발상과 표현] 교과목의 Blended Learning 기법 적용사례를 통하여 제시하였다.

      • 온, 오프라인을 병용한 디자인 실기 교육방법에 관한 연구

        컴퓨터시스템의 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 지속적인 발전에 기초한 인터넷서비스의 확산은 기존의 공간제한적이며 획일적인 교육시스템을 교육수혜자 중심의 다양한 교육서비스로 바꾸고 있다. 이미 문자정보나 데이터베이스 중심의 이론적인 특성이 강한 분야의 경우, 여러 교과목이 온라인을 이용한 사이버강좌로 개설되고 있으며 멀티미디어 기술의 개발과 인터넷 실현 속도의 초고속화는 다양한 교육컨텐츠의 활용을 가능케 하였다. 디자인분야에 있어서도 그러한 시대적 환경이나 새로운 교육적 트랜드는 다 분야와 다를 바 없으나 디자인분야 특성상 이미지를 구현하는 작업이 많은 교육과정을 어떻게 효과적으로 온라인화하는가가 컨텐츠 설계의 과제였다. 본 연구에서는 디자인교육과정 중 실습빈도가 높은 교과목을 사례로 교육목표 및 교육과정을 분석하여 온라인 컨텐츠화할 수 있는 요소와 Off-Line이 효과적인 요소를 추출하여 인터넷 웹서비스와 교실 수업의 병용을 통해 상호 보완할 수 있도록 디자인 교육의 효율적 운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. The sustained developments in both hardware and software products and computer systems have accelerated the wide spread and fast evolutions of internet services. Such staggering developments in information technology including the internet services have considerably transformed the traditional education systems, which were uniformed and limited, into diverse multidisciplinary educational services, which, with their highly recipient-centered orientations, could cater to varying needs, interests, and levels of students. In such theory-oriented fields as determined by text-information or database, many on-line courses have long been offered. Especially the advancement in multi-media technology and the realization of internet superhighways have brought into our view many challenging experiments with various on-line educational contents. Industrial design is not an exception: it has been constantly adapting to the fast changing educational conditions while, at the same time, capitalizing on the current technological trends. Our primary task, in particular, in the area of design education has been to effectively build the on-line architecture of our educational curricula, the main property of which concerns image formation and production. In order to provide an effective and efficient design education in today's environment, this research suggests ways to successfully integrate the internet web services and off-line classroom settings. The paper analyzes the goals and methodologies of some individual courses where frequent laboratory classes are required, evaluates the goals that can be best fulfilled by on-line contents and off-line lectures respectively, and proposes a way to optimize the synergy effects of the on-line content architecture and off-line classroom lectures and experiments.

      • HTML(Hypertext Markup Language)와 CSIM(Client Side Image Map)을 이용한 Internet Web Page Design

        The roots of today's Internet come from the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency in U.S.A(ARPA). Instead of performing its own research, ARPA(a branch of the Department of Defence), which became DARPA in 1972, regulary funded research projects related to technological development of military problems. In 1969, they built electronic communication network called ARPANET. this was the first instance of Internet service. As Technology of Graphic User Interface progresses, cause the advent of World Wide Web which can telegraph not only text data but also graphics, sound, animations by using hypertext and hyperlink technique through networks. Due to the advent of WWW, Using graphic language such as icon than text is generalized for the effective data-communication method to share mutual informations in global network that rise above the nationally. Also that gives opportuities of noval design to industrial designers. Evidently, WWW Page Design is that. which makes internet service much easier(makes easy to search useful information in internet) by using user fiendly Graphic User Interface that isn't served in telent, ftp internet and HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) An image map is a graphic that has certain areas on it defined to "do something" when the user clicks o each of the area. These areas can do whatever normal HTML links do-email, ftp, gopher, etc. In this paper, as a case example the www page design of department of industrial design is presented by using general drawing data, HTML(hypertext markup language) and CSIM(client side image map) technique.

        In our country, it is approximately 10 years since the computer system was introduced and used in industrial design field. But, in case of product design field, using computer system in the whole process of the product design development is still looks inefficient. Which caused by designer's passive attitude and insufficient knowledge about analysis and computerization method and few attempt of integration between industrial design work and mechanical design work. This study is designed to cite the approaching method to integrate the design work and other relative work such as sales, planning, mechanical design in enterprise by computerization in practical business. Reaching steps are suggested by hereafter 4 sequential steps; step of initial induction, step of application, step of activation, and step of completion.

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of domestic retailers as well as to propose the alternatives to increase competitiveness of retailers, The retail channel structure is characterized on its high density and small business, which lead to low productivity, 1ow sales, and low morale of management. To solve these problems, small retailers should try to systematize organization by central buying system, point of sale, electronic ordering system and so on. Furthermore, they should cooperate with regional retailers by establishing central institution. Finally, they focus their business on specialization rather than generalization.
