Reduction unit is one of the most important components for railway vehicle because torque of motor must be transmitted to wheels of vehicle by reduction unit. However, According to advanced studies, it has been often broke down due to the damage, fatigue and wear of gear. To solve this problem, defect diagnosis methods of gear have been mainly using the vibration diagnosis technology through vibration waveform and frequency analysis. However, We should know vibration characteristics of normal state reduction unit prior to defect diagnosis. So in this paper, We had analyzed vibration characteristics of reduction unit in order to utilize monitoring system development. Comparison of targets is the vibration characteristics of normal state reduction unit about Electric Multiple Unit(EMU) and the High-speed trains(KTX, KTXⅡ).
도시철도차량 부품 표준 및 모듈 개발대상 선정을 위한 전략적 기술수요 유형분석 연구

국내 철도부품산업에서 핵심부품 및 유지보수품에 대해서 아직까지 해외부품에 의존하는 경향이 뚜렷하다. 이러한 이유로 국가 연구개발 투자를 통해 성능향상 및 국산화 개발을 수행해 왔으나 실용화는 부진한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 도시철도차량 부품을 대상으로 수요자와 제작자 측면에서 연계한 전략적 기술수요 유형분석을 통해 부품별 기술 중요도, 국내 기술력, 품질수준, 경제성 등에 대해 수요자와 제작자 측면의 연계 분석을 수행하여 개발대상을 선정하는 전략적 방법론을 제시한다. In the domestic railway parts industry, there is still a tendency to rely on overseas parts for core and maintenance parts. For these reasons, performance improvement and localization development have been carried out through national R&D investment although commercialization has been sluggish. Therefore, this study presents a strategic methodology to select the development target by analyzing the strategic technology.

The urban railway have been planned not only subway, but also elevated railway. Therefore, at a dwelling site that railway passes by, it is steadily increasing civil complaints for railway noise. This study purposes are getting information from the areas where has damaged by railway noise and suggesting management controlled by proper solutions. By using GIS, noise map previously select the noise predictive areas is noise reduction area. In addition, the suitable noise reduction plan is shown by A.N.M.S (Automatic Noise Measurement System) is installed to find out noise characteristics in the railway ground.
살수를 이용한 철도곡선구간 스퀼소음 저감효과에 관한 연구

The urban railway has been planned not only the subway but also the elevated railway in Seoul South Korea. Therefore it is steadily increasing civil complaints for railway noise passing through that residential district. In this paper we focused on noise of squeal characteristics induced by interaction between railway vehicle's wheel and rail. Then we selected the point that carried out scattering water droplet to the rail and compared the noise level of the watering test results before and after. Scattering water test results showed that level of the noise reduced intermittently occurring high frequency characteristics of squeal noise as well as overall noise level. In the future we will apply the sensor to the sprinkling system for noise reduction where the place of existing squeal noise is and make a suggestion of this solution will be more economical environmental-friendly and appropriate to reduce the squeal noise occurred by railway vehicle than others.
