최근 전파법 개정 및 시행령 발효로 후 전력선 통신기기의 상용화가 가능해 졌다. 그러나, 전력공급선을 매체로 사용하는 PLC 기술은 전력계통에 영향을 미칠 우려가 있어 타 통신기기보다 엄격하게 신뢰성과 안정성을 보장해야함에도 불구하고 객관적인 성능지표 및 시험기준이 마련되지 않아 전력선통신 산업의 성장 및 전력선통신기기의 상용화의 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 따라서, 전력선통신 산업의 성장 및 전력선통신기기의 상용화를 앞당기기 위해서는 성능지표 및 시험기준 확립이 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 객관적인 성능지표를 마련하기 위하여 행해야 될 시험항목에 대하여 고찰하고 전력선통신 종합시험장 구축 방안에 관하여 제시하고자 한다. The commercialization of Power-Line Communication (PLC) equipment is permitted after the Revision of Radio Act has approved by the National Assembly and takes effect. Even though PLC technology should provide more rigid reliability and stability than any other communication technology because the PLC technology communicates through power-line and can adversely affect the proper functioning of power system, theperformance and experimental standard are not established. And, absence of the performance and experimental standard limit the PLC industry expansion and commercialization of PLC equipment. Therefore establishment of performance and experimental standard is urgently needed to promote growth of PLC industry and commercialization of PLC equipment. In this paper, we present experimental standard and construction plan of PLC laboratory to guarantee reliablity and stability of PLC technology.
