The purpose of this study is to present the method of selecting the most suitable Double Skin system in thermal performance, which is often applied when building Green building and renovating old constructions, by comparing load features in direction of system and types.<br/> By simulating heating and cooling load in summer and winter of an office-building before and after remodelling with Double Skin system, this study analyzed the energy saving effect. Also, by comparing the skin performance from stack effect when different types of double skin system have been applied will show the influence of application of the various double skin system on the construction's energy performance.
고성능 통합 비행 조정면 구동 장치의 성능 시험 및 품질보증 절차 수립에 관한 연구

Semiconductor devices can be series stacked for the application of a high voltage switch. It can provide high reliability and long life time by the safe design with a reasonable margin. 'The equal voltage distribution in series-stacked high-voltage switch should be guaranteed. Static and dynamic voltage division, over voltage protection must be considered carefully in the design stage. A fast switching thyristor is a good candidate for the high power pulse applications. A high voltage switching module is designed and tested. Its specifications are working voltage of 70 kV, switching pulse width of 120μs, peak switching current of 220 A, and maximum repetition rate of 200 pps. The module can be series connected to get higher working voltage. This paper presents the design details and test results.<br/>
아파트 동남향․서남향 배치에 따른 물리적 주거환경에 대한 비교연구

Apartments with a southern exposure are often thought to have advantages in receiving winter sunlights and summer natural ventilation. However, as due-south-apartments increase recently, the consideration for residential environment for households with no southern exposure is necessary. In case of due-south-apartments, residents prefer east-sided apartments than west facing apartments which might receive more hot sunlight in the afternoon; however in case of west-oriented apartments with active ventilation, the interior area is bright until late afternoon without unpleasant heat and has advantage in light environment aspects. This study aims to compare and analyze merits and demerits of air flow and sunlighted environment of buildings through sunshine duration simulation using CFD simulation ad sunlights about southeast-sided and southwest-sided apartments based on general opinions for apartment directions. As results of the interior natural ventilation analysis, as the average air flow speed in southwest-sided apartments was 1m/s faster than that of southeast-sided, it has effects of lowering sensory temperature of residents in summer, and for sunlighted environment, southwest-sided apartments are advantageous for sunlighted area for duration time inside. As a result of the research, the calculation of physical residential environment of apartment residential space should be reached through integrated evaluation of natural ventilation and sunlighted time from placement and facing direction of the buildings considering characteristics and environment of each apartment, not based on general opinions.

This paper discuss the Qualification Test Procedure which is composed of main functional and environmental tests for the localizing avionics and subsystems, especially the detail test approaches of General Avionics Computed(GAC) through the analysis of related technical data packages for the purpose of performance proof of final products. Quality assurance procedures are properly established with the several kinds of inspections and functional test items. They are called as process inspections, functional test, acceptance test procedure and qualification test procedure. The Qualification test procedure are composed of the analysis of original engineering design concept and shall be performed for the acquisition of the certification of the GAC's Quality as well as the aquisition of the related techniques and engineering know-how items.<br/> <br/>
그레이브스병에 있어서 항갑상선제와 티록신 병합요법의 효과

N/A Objectives: It was recently reported that the administration of T during antithyroid drug(ATD) therapy resulted in a significant decrease of antibodies to TSH receptors as well as the rate of recurrence of active Graves' disease following discontinuance of ATD treatment. But, there is still controversy whether combination therapy is efficient. Therefore, the present study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of T4 administration of patient with Graves' disease who were being treated with ATD. Methods: We studied 56 patients received methimazole(MMI) alone(Group 1) and 48 patients received methimazole plus T4(Group 2). They are diagnosed active Graves' disease at department of internal medicine, Kwang ju Christian Hospital from January, 1994 to December, 1995. AU the patients were treated initially with 30mg of methimazole daily for one month after then, in the Group 1(methimazole alone), the dose of methimazole was adjusted as necessary to achieve normal serum concentrations of T3, T4, and TSH. The patients of Group 2(methimazole plus T4) continue to receive the combination of T4 at a dose of 100 μg daily. Simultaneously, we estimated the serum concentratio n of T3, T4, TSH and Thyroid-stimulating immunoglob ulin(TSI) antibody at every three months. Results : We obtained the following result. In the group 1, mean TSI values were 50.1%(first visit), 30.6%(6months), and 24.7%(1year). And, in the group 2 mean TSI values were 51.8%(first visit), 33.6%(6months), and 22.7% (1year). After 6 months of discontinuing of therapy, the recurrence rate was no significant difference in the two groups (the recurrence rate were 55.4%, 50.0%, respectively P>0.05). Conclusion : These results suggest that T4 administration in combination with MMI therapy have no significant effect in a decrease in levels of TSH receptors antibodies and recurrence rate within 6 months discontinuing MMI therapy as compared with MMI treatment alone.
실용 자동화 실습장치 (Practical Flexible Manufacturing System)의 모듈별 사양 분석 에 관한 연구

This is the dissertation of the study of design characteristics about the practical flexible manufacturing system (PFMS). The basic ideas to analyze the manufacturing system which is the automatically operated is dependant on the various manufacturing procedures in factory. PFMS is the very useful equipment for students and trainee of production lines. This system is composed of hardware and software sub systems i.e. control and test unit and personal computer with software. The PFMS can be developed with design concepts and approved the capability of first article with functional tests. The PFMS module will be very useful for the manufacturing drill system in universities and practical fields. The flexible manufacturing systems have various subsystems appropriated for the final manufacturing products. Therefore the systems have the various kinds of hard wares as well as softwares. We study the software for the practical flexible manufacturing system designed in the Halla University and specially the design concept and using specification of the SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) robot which is used for the movement of the product is analyzed and introduced in this dissertation.
Gene Expression of NeuroD/BETA2 during Development of the Mouse Central Nervous System

basic helix-loop-helix 전사인자 (transcription factor)에 속하는 NeuroD/BETA2 유전자는 신경형성과정 중 종말분화에 중요한 기능을 하는 것으로 알려져 왔다. 신경계의 발생 및 분화과정에서 NeuroD/BETA2 유전자의 기능을 알기 위해서 본 연구에서는 생쥐의 배자발생과정, 출생초기 및 성숙한 생쥐를 대상으로 in situ hybridization방법을 이용하여 유전자의 발현 양상을 조사하였다. NeuroD/BETA2 유전자는 발생중인 생쥐의 신경계에서 매우 높게 발현되었다. 출생 초기에 NeuroD/BETA2 유전자는 소뇌 와 해마에서 시간이 경과할수록 지속적으로 증가하는 발현양상을 보여주었고 성숙 후에도 비교적 안정한 상태로 발현되었다. 출생 전 NeuroD/BETA2 유전자는 배자발생과정 동안 뇌실밑층의 분열을 마친 세포에서 발현되었다. 이러한 결과는 NeuroD/BETA2 유전자가 신경형성과정 중 종말분화과정에 중요한 역할을 담당한다는 사실을 확인시켜 준다. NeuroD/BETA2, a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor, has been known to play a role in terminal differentiation during neurogenesis. To gain further insight into the function of NeuroD/BETA2 in the nervous system development, we examined the expression pattern of NeuroD/BETA2 during embryonic and postnatal development by in situ hybridization. Dynamic changes of NeuroD/BETA2 expression were observed in the developing nervous system. Gene expression of the NeuroD/BETA2 in developing cerebellum and hippocampus increased during the embryonic stages and persisted throughout postnatal development and remained at a stable level in the adult brain. NeuroD/ BETA2 expression was detected in postmitotic cells in the subventricular zone of the cerebrum during embryogenesis. This observation confirms that NeuroD/BETA2 may have a role in terminal differentiation during neurogenesis.
