this paper studies the influence of permanent magnet on the vibration of synchronous motor two PM motors with NdFeB and Ferrite magents which have same Back-EMF and output power have been desined. First, the dynamic simulation is performed with these two motors' parameters. The current waveforms can be evaluated. And then based on the equivalent magnetization current principle, the magnetic force density and force including the tangential and radial direction components can be calculated. According to the relationship between the vibration and radial force, the vibration of these two motors can be predicted. This result will give meaningful advice to the motor design.

This paper deals with the comparison and investigation of the noise and vibration for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) for Automotive considering different ratio of pole and slot. Two IPMSMs with 2/3 and 8/9 pole-slot ratios have been designed with almost same rated power, rated torque, back electromotive force, and rated current. First, these two motors are compared in the aspect of electromagnetic. Such as the cogging torque, efficiency, power factor are compared. Then, with finite element method and equivalent magnetizing current, the nature frequency, local force and deformation are calculated. By means of these simulation results, the vibration of motor can be estimated. Finally, depending on the experiments, the performances of these two motors are verified. At various speeds under the load condition, the noise and vibration of these two motors are tested in the OROS equipment, the simulation and experiment results give the suggestion to the pole-slot ration selection in the motor design process. here.
