H.264 표준 동영상 부호화 방식을 위한 순차적 움직임 벡터 오류 은닉 기법

본 논문에서는 H.264 표준 동영상 부호화 방식을 위한 순차적 움직임 벡터 오류 은닉 기법에 대해 제안한다. H.264 표준 동영상 부호화 방식에서의 움직임 예측과정은 다양한 크기의 서브 매크로 블록 모드에 따라 각기 다른 움직임 벡터 개수를 갖게 되고, 이로 인해 움직임 벡터는 기존의 표준 부호화 방식에 비해 상대적으로 적은 영역을 대표하게 된다. 그러므로 이웃한 블록의 움직임 벡터간의 상관관계는 서브 매크로 블록의 크기가 작을수록 더 커지게 된다. 제안 방식에서는 변화된 국부 통계 특성에 대한 적응도에 따른 $\alpha$-trimmed mean 필터를 이용하여 움직임 벡터를 순차적으로 복구하는 움직임 벡터 오류 은닉기법에 대해 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 방식이 실시간 동영상 전송에 적합하며 기존의 블록 경계 정합 방식 및 라그랑즈 보간 방식과 유사한 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose a sequential motion vector recovery algorithm for H.264 video coding standard. Motion vectors of H.264 video coding standard cover relatively smaller areas than other standard, since motion estimation of H.264 takes place in the fashion of variable block size. Therefore, the correlation of motion vectors between neighboring blocks increases as the block size of motion estimation is lowered. Under the framework of sequential recovery, we introduce a motion vector recovery using $\alpha$-trimed mean filter. Experimental results show that proposed algorithm is useful in real time video delivery .with nearly comparable or better visual quality than previous approaches such as macro block boundary matching and Lagrage interpolation.

The research was conducted to evaluate conversion characteristics of TWC with a doublelayer wash coat improving the light-off and the thermal stability. Light-off temperature of newly developed TWC was decreased because of increasing the Pt/Rh loading by double wash coating. The resistance to thermal deactivation was also improved. The increase of precious metal loading weight in double layer wash coat presents an aspect of the light-off and thermal stability with regard to the dispersion of PMs and the interaction between the near PMs by the thermal deactivation.
Enzalutamide와 활성대사체의 동시분석법 개발 및 흰쥐에서의 활성대사체 동태 특성 규명

A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric method was developed for the determination of an anti-prostate cancer drug, enzalutamide (EZT), and its active metabolite, N-desmethyl enzalutamide (NDE), in rat plasma. EZT, NDE and bicalutamide (internal standard; BCT) were extracted with ethyl acetate and separated using a column packed with octadecylsilica (5 μm, 2.1 × 50 mm) with 0.1% formic acid and methanol as the mobile phase. Detection was accomplished using MS/MS by multiple-reaction monitoring the transitions of m/z 465.1 to 209.2, 451.2 to 195.2 and 431.1 to 217.1 for EZT, NDE and BCT, respectively. The quantifiable range for the plasma samples was confirmed to be from 0.5 to 1,000 ng/ mL, and the all validation values, including the precision (coefficient of variance ≤ 11.80%) and accuracy (relative error ≤ 5.107%) of the measurements, were within the acceptable ranges given by FDA guidelines. The developed analytical method was successfully applied to characterize the kinetics of formation of the active metabolite. Considering EZT is pri-marily eliminated by hepatic metabolism in rats, the formation of NDE accounts for approximately 34% of the overall elim-ination of EZT in rats.
동영상 압축 방식을 위한 최소 자승 기반 적응 움직임 벡터 예측 알고리즘

본 논문에서는 동영상 부호화 기의 성능을 개선하기 위한 최소 자송 기반 적응 움직임 벡터 예측 알고리즘을 제안 하고자 한다. 적응 움직임 벡터 예측 방식은 동영상 움직임 벡터의 국부 통계적인 특성의 돌연한 변화로 특정지어 진다는 것을 바탕으로 최소 자승(Least Squared) 기반의 선형 움직임의 계수들을 통계적 특성에 따라 최적화하는 방식이지만 상기 방식은 애우 높은 계산 량을 요구하는 단정을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 공간적인 움직임 변화 방향성을 가지는 최소 자승 최적화를 기반으로 움직임 예측기의 계수를 적응적으로 조절하여 움직임 예측 오류뿐만 아니라 계산 량도 감소시키는 방식에 대해 기술한다. 실험을 통해 제안된 방식의 성능을 확인할 수 있었다. This paper addresses an adaptive motion vector prediction algorithm to improve the performance of video encoder. The block-based motion vector is characterized by non-stationary local statistics so that the coefficients of LS (Least Squares) based linear motion can be optimized. However, it requires very expensive computational cost. The proposed algorithm using LS approach with spatially varying motion-directed property adaptively controls the coefficients of the motion predictor and reduces the computational cost as well as the motion prediction error. Experimental results show the capability of the proposed algorithm.
Ni, Ru-ZSM-5를 첨가한 NSR 촉매의 NOx 정화 특성

In this study, we investigated the conversion performance of de-NOx catalyst for lean-burn natural gas engine. As a de-NOx catalyst, NOx storage reduction catalyst was composed of Pt, Pd and Rh with washcoat including Ba and Ni, Ru-ZSM-5. Ni, Ru-ZSM-5, which was regarded as a NOx direct decomposition catalyst, was made up of ion exchanged ZSM-5 by 5wt.% Ni or Ru. The performance of de-NOx catalyst was evaluated by NOx storage capacity and catalytic reduction in air/fuel, $\lambda=1.6$. The catalytic reaction was also observed when the added fuel was supplied to fuel rich atmosphere by fuel spike period of 5 seconds. The NOx conversion of the catalysts with Ni-ZSM-5 or Ru-ZSM-5 was mainly caused by the effect of NOx adsorption of Ba rather than the catalytic reduction of Ni, Ru-ZSM-5. Ni, Ru-ZSM-5 catalysts can not use for the NSR catalyst because they have quick process in thermal deactivation.

HCCI engines are expected to offer the high efficiency of DI diesel engines with low level of NOx and particulate emissions. Experimental HCCI engines are however reported to exhaust THC and CO at a level comparable to the gasoline engines. Because the exhaust gas temperature of HCCI engines is lower than that of the diesel engines, development of exhaust treatment devices like DOC's with high conversion efficiency especially at low temperature is crucial to commercialization of HCCI engines. Experimental DOC's are designed and fabricated in this study using various level of platinum loading and 600 cpsi ceramic monolith coated with two different type of wash coat. Performance test result of these DOC's show that the low-temperature type washcoat effectively lowers the 50% light-of f temperature by 30℃. L90, the catalyst with this type of wash coat and an intermediate level of level of platinum loading, demonstrates the lowest light-of f temperature in the model gas tests.
저수지 월류 시 여수토 접속부 세굴에 따른 붕괴 현상의 실험적 연구

This study is a preliminary investigation into the development of a construction method that will protect a reservoir even during over flows caused by severe flooding. Through hydraulic modeling tests, the destructive phenomena caused by spillway-junction scour during reservoir overflow were modeled, and the effects on the embankment during such an overflow and the spillway-junction movements are discussed. The reservoir destruction model used the Tanbu reservoir, located in Gangwondo Chuncheon-si Namsanmyeon (H=22 m, L=115 m), as the model reservoir and created an embankment with a 1/60 ratio. We review the spillway-junction safety factor during overflow and embankment movement following reinforcement measures for three different cases: no reinforcement, cemented sand and gravel (CSG) reinforcement and water-blocking sheet reinforcement. The results of this study confirmed that when the spillway-junction is exposed to soil, it is very vulnerable to overflow and that a water-blocking sheet or CSG reinforcement are very effective measures in preventing embankment destruction in the long-term period.
