한국어 교재의 상대경어법 연구 : 여성 결혼이민자를 위한 한국어 교재를 중심으로
Relative honorific manner system in Korean language is a grammar system that can not be ignored when communicating with others. The speaker should choose the most suitable relative according to the listener. The Korean relative honorific manner system is a grammar system in which even native speakers need to be educated. It is more difficult for female married immigrants. Therefore, the education of relative honorific manner system for female marriage immigrants is essential. Although female immigrants can learn relative honorific manner system when they communicate with the native speakers, they usually use textbooks to understand the relative honorific manner system. If female immigrants want to use relative honorific manner system correctly, they need to consider social factors, such as age, sex, intimacy, and the situation that conversation happened. So this study analyzed the dialogue statements and listening texts which stressed on the relationship of the speaker and the listener in the textbook for female marriage immigrants. In Chapter I, I wrote the need and the methods of this study. And previous research on relative honorific manner system of textbooks for female marriage immigrants were collected. Many scholars had different opinion of the concept of the relative honorific manner system. So I collected the scholars' opinion and defined it newly in Chapter II. The relative honorific manner system can be classified into several specific classes. I classified the relative honorific manner system and tidied the characteristics and usage patterns of each class. In Chapter 3, I added up the frequency of every class of the relative honorific manner system and analysed the problem in the textbook about the relative honorific manner system. Then I analysed the usage patterns of the relative honorific manner of each class in the textbook, depending on factors that are related to age, social status, relationship, and conversation situations. In Chapter 4, I proposed ways to improve the relative honorific manner system in the textbook depending the analyses in Chapter 3. And I also made educational methods which were divided between beginners and intermediate classes. This study was aimed at improving the textbook and making educational methods base on the problems which was related with relative honorific manner system in the textbook. And I hope this study can have some good effects for relative honorific manner system. 한국어 상대경어법은 다른 사람과 의사소통을 할 때 간과할 수 없는 문법 체계이다. 화자는 청자에 따라 적합한 상대경어법 화계를 선택하여 발화해야 한다. 한국어 상대경어법은 한국어 모국어 화자도 교육을 받아야 원활하게 쓰는 문법 체계이다. 여성 결혼이민자들이 상대경어법을 사용하는 데에 어려울 수밖에 없다. 따라서 여성 결혼이민자를 위한 상대경어법 교육은 필수적이다. 여성 결혼이민자는 모국어 화자와 대화하면서 상대경어법을 배울 수 있으나 주로 교재를 통해 상대경어법 체계를 파악한다. 또한 상대경어법 화계를 정확하게 사용하려면 화청자의 나이, 성별, 친밀성, 사회적 지위와 대화가 이루어지는 상황 등 사회적 요인을 고려해야 한다. 그렇기 때문에 본 연구에서는 여성 결혼이민자를 위한 교재에서 화청자 관계를 잘 나타내는 대화문과 듣기 원문을 연구 대상으로 하여 상대경어법의 사용 양상을 분석하였다. 본 연구에 제Ⅰ장에서는 먼저 여성 결혼이민자를 위해 만든 교재의 상대경어법 연구의 필요성, 연구 방법과 이전의 연구를 정리하였다. 제Ⅱ장에서는 상대경어법과 관련한 개념을 정리하였다. 우선 상대경어법의 개념에 대해 학자에 따라 다르게 보기 때문에 이전 학자들의 의견을 종합하여 상대경어법의 개념을 재정리하였다. 또한 상대경어법은 몇 가지 세부 등급으로 분류할 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 학자들의 견해를 정리하여 상대경어법의 등급을 나누었고 각 등급의 특징과 사용 상황을 정리하였다. 그리고 상대경어법에 영향을 주는 사회언어학적인 요인을 나이, 사회적 지위, 성별, 친밀성, 친족관계와 대화 상황 6가지로 나누어 상대경어법의 사용 양상을 정리하였다. 제Ⅲ장에서는 먼저 상대경어법 화계들이 각각 교재의 대화문과 듣기 원문에서 나오는 빈도를 통계 처리하였고 각 교재의 단원에서 상대경어법이 대화문, 듣기 원문, 읽기, 쓰기, 문법 등에서의 사용 양상을 분석하여 문제를 제시하였다. 그 다음은 교재에서 각 등급 상대경어법의 사용 양상이 나이, 사회적 지위, 친족관계와 대화 상황 4가지 사회언어학인 요인에 따라 나온 양상을 제시하였다. 제Ⅳ장에서는 한국어 교재 상대경어법의 개선 방안과 한국어 교육 현장에 상대경어법 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 개선 방안은 제Ⅲ장의 분석을 바탕으로 한국어 교재의 상대경어법 부분이 어떻게 개선하면 좋은지를 제시하였다. 제Ⅳ장에서 교육 방안을 제시했을 때 초급과 중급 교육 방안을 나누어 만들었다. 이 연구는 여성 결혼이민자를 위한 교재에서 상대경어법 사용 양상의 문제점을 파악하여 이를 바탕으로 교재의 개선 방안과 교육 방안을 제시하여 더 나은 교육 효과를 추구하는 데에 의의가 있다.
