Tried to figure out the determinants of the firm`s performance in oriental bio industry based on basic management resources, core competencies, and entrepreneurship. Conducted a survey to the 150 herbal foods, medical devices, pharmaceutical companies, herbal biotechnology company in Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. Firm size such as number of employees and capital is a key decision factor for the financial performance. Production capacity is the most important factor for the competitive advantage. Due to the nature of Oriental Bio Industry, the entrepreneurial spirit is still showing the limits of the determinants of performance. Basic business resources such as firm size was the key determinants in financial performance and production capacity turned out to be the key determinants for the competitive advantage. In the future study, a new study approach for the dynamic capability such as learning ability and resource allocation capability is needed.

Tried to design servitization strategy model of medical tourism based on foreigner`s decision making of hospital selection type. Theoretical approach which included medical tourism and selection attribute of hospital objective, servitization, was reviewed to design medical tourism servitization strategy . Servitization strategy model of medical tourism was configured multi dimentions that consisted of applied stage, target market and level, determined factors, and the strategic tools of servitizaton by the strategy types. Three types of medical tourism servitization strategy model - P2H, H2H, B2H - was derived for practical implementation of hospital.
노인복지시설의 이용현황과 서비스만족도 요인에 관한 연구 -노인요양시설과 재가노인시설을 중심으로-

Objectives: Tried to find out practical Policy Implications based on survey of the status of facility utilization and service satisfaction components. Methods: For the empirical study, a survey was conducted targeting silver ages over 65 who utilizes elderly care facilities or in-home care facilities. 1,200 survey sheets had been distributed in 23 counties in Kyung-pook province and 1,037 sheets were collected. Results: About 43.2% of the aged people has been utilizing silver facilities for more than 2 years. Also 42.1% of the respondents have been involved with various types of programs provided in the facilities about 4-5 times a week. The survey result showed that elderly people were very satisfied with the convenience of the facility environment(4.18). However, they were not satisfied with service contents and quality(3.92). Also 42.9% of the respondents consider the promotion of the facility service is the most important factor in facility selecting process. Conclusion: The empirical study shows that most of the silver facilities were providing health promotion and rehabilitation programs. However the frequency and degree of satisfaction of the program were very low. This suggests a practical policy that can promote practical services for the beneficiaries is necessary.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to examine the relationship among the follow relational characters, customer satisfaction and customer confidence, This study also revisits assumption that hospitals are suppliers and patients are buyers. Methods: The survey has 35 questionnaires based on the preceding studies and preliminary investigation. Conclusion: The results of this research can be summarized as follows: First, reputation, customer service, communication, specificity, and friendly feelings are the major factors in the relationship between the patient and the doctor. Second, reputation, specificity, friendly feelings show a significant relationship between the relational character and the confidence. Third, the confidence has a significant effect on the revisiting intention. Therefore, Confidence can affect the revisiting probability and hospital performance.
