대학원 준고령 학습자의 경험을 활용한 학습 과정 탐색 -근거이론을 중심으로-

본 연구는 준고령자들이 대학원에 와서 학습을 하면서 자신의 경험을 어떻게 활용하는지를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 50세- 59세 사이에 대학원 석·박사 과정에 입학하여 수학한 경험이 있는 준고령자 5명을 대상으로 하여 심층 면접 방법으로 자료를 수집하였다. 이들과 심층 면접한 자료들을 Strauss와 Corbin의 근거이론 자료 분석 방법으로 분석하여 127개의 개념과 31개의 하위범주, 11개의 상위 범주로 코딩하였다. 연구 결과 패러다임 모형에서는 ``학습의 어려움``, ``학습 과정의 의미 있음``의 인과적 조건을 통해 중심현상인 ``자아와의 조우``가 나타났다. 이에 영향을 미친 맥락적 조건은 ``객관적 경험``, ``주관적 경험``으로 나타났고, 중심현상에 대한 중재 조건은 ``짐이 되는 경험``, ``힘이되는 경험``으로 나타났으며, 중심 현상에 대한 상호작용 전략은 ``문제해결``, ``정체성 정립``, ``미래 계획``이며, 그 결과로 ``긍정적 방어기제 개발``, ``자아관의 변화``, ``새로운 환경 구성``이 도출되었다. 대학원 준고령자의 학습과정에서 경험을 활용한 학습 과정의 핵심 범주는 ``경험의 발견과 자아의 재구성``이다. This study analyzed the process of the learning using experiences of pre-older adults in a graduate school program. For this study, the date was collected from in depth interview with five people who have experienced the course of graduate school age 55 and over for the degree of master and doctor. According to the method of ground theory of Strauss and Corbin, the data was analyzed. And then the concepts of 160 and the 32 subcategories and 12 categories were found. the results of the study are followed: The central phenomenon was ``self encounter``. Participants must adapt and respond to the new environment in Graduate school and were exposed to difficult and meaningful tasks. For overcoming the tasks, learners reflect and take advantage of their experience. And in this process they encounter themselves constantly. the experience is the power and the burden simultaneously for older adults learners. However, because they know how to manage the experience through the past experience, they solve the problems, establish their identities and envision their futures and proceed the process of learning. As a result, they create a new defence mechanism, and produce a new view of themselves and envision a new environment.
Development of a 3-Dimensional Placenta-on-a-Chip Platform for Pre-eclampsia Study

The placenta is an organ that occurs only temporarily during pregnancy and connects the fetus and the mother for exchange materials. As a fetus grows, more and more material exchange is required and, so spiral artery remodeling through trophoblast invasion must be properly performed in the initial pregnancy stage. If this process does not well carry out, it can lead to the abnormal placental development and pre-eclampsia. In this study, we developed an in vitro placenta-on-a-chip which can mimic the microenvironment of the placenta and showed the effect of trophoblast invasion. The 3-dimensional vascular structure was reproduced using Collagen type-1 and Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs). The vascular function was confirmed by immunofluorescence assay. Co-culture of HUVECs and trophoblast in 3% hypoxic environment promotes trophoblast invasion and induces changes in vascular structure. This platform is applicable to placenta related studies including drug screening and toxicity test.
