        춘천 레고랜드를 대비한 시내 교통 기반 분석

        춘천시는 세계적인 테마파크 중 하나인 레고랜드를 건설중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 춘천레고랜드를 대비한 시내 교통기반에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 먼저, 레고랜드와 관련한 현 춘천시의 교통 상황을 검토하였고 이를 기반으로 잠재적인 고객 및 도착률, 도로, 레고랜드로 진입 경로에 대한 정의를 수행하였다. 교통 상태를 반영하는 평가치인 점유율을 기반으로 분석을 위한 실험을 설계하였고 시뮬레이션을 통해 결과를 얻었다. 피크시즌에 심한 교통 체증이 예상되며 특히 도로 9,11,16에서 정도가 특히 심각하다는 결과이다. 이 도로들의 차선수 증가를 통한 추가적인 실험을 수행하였으며 시내 교통상 큰 개선된 결과를 도출하였다. Chuncheon city is constructing a world-wide famous theme park, Chuncheon Legoland. In this study, analysis of the city traffic infrastructure for Chuncheon Legoland has been performed. We first reviewed the current city traffic condition with regard to the park. We then defined potential customers and arrivals, streets, and routing street sequences to the park. Based on a measure, occupation ratio, reflecting traffic condition we designed experiments for analysis and obtained results from simulation. Our results indicate that severe traffic delay is expected during the peak season and is significant especially in streets 9,11,16. We performed additional experiments with increasing the number of lanes of them and obtained improved results.

        IDEF3를 이용한 쇼핑몰 업무 프로세스 모델링 Part 1 - Front office 관점

        A business process flow model for an intermediary type shopping mall consisting of multiple sellers has been presented in this study. Specifically, we defined 11 essential business processes of a front office customer's view point and set up detailed process flow models using IDEF3 (Integrated DEFinition). The characteristic of this study lies in providing a dynamic model rather than static models. The results may form a conceptual framework not only for shopping mall processes but for analysis and improvement toward extended electronic business systems.

        Sensitivity Analysis of the 217Plus<sup>TM</sup> Component Models for Reliability Prediction of Electronic Systems

        MIL-HDBK-217 has played a pivotal role in reliability prediction of electronic equipments for more than 30 years. Recently, RIAC developed a new methodology $217Plus^{TM}$which officially replaces MIL-HDBK-217. Sensitivity analysis of the 217Plus component models to various parameters has been performed and meaningful observations have been drawn in this study. We first briefly reviewed the $217Plus^{TM}$ methodolog and compared it with the conventional model, MIL-HDBK-217. We then performed sensitivity analysis $217Plus^{TM}$ component models to various parameters. Based on the six parameters and an orthogonal array selected, we have performed indepth analyses concerning parameter effects on the model. Our result indicates that, among various parameters, operating temperature and temperature rise during operation have the most significant impacts on the life of a component, and thus a design robust to high temperature is the most importantly required. Next, year of manufacture, duty cycle, and voltage stress are weaker but may be significant when they are in heavy load conditions. Although our study is restricted to a specific type of diodes, the results are still valid to other cases. The results in this study not only figure out the behavior of the predicted failure rate as a function of parameters but provide meaningful guidelines for practical applications.

        한국 해군의 함대합성훈련(FST) 적용 연구

        전투력 향상을 위해서는 전장환경에 부합하는 훈련체계의 구축 및 적응 노력이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션 기반의 훈련 체계인 FST (Fleet Synthetic Training)에 대한 고찰 및 한국 해군 측면의 분석을 수행하고 정책적인 제안을 도출하였다. 먼저, FST의 개념 및 현재 우리 해군의 훈련체계에 대한 전반적인 실태를 고찰하였다. 객관적인 전략 및 제안의 도출을 위하여 우리 군의 내부 역량과 FST 측면의 환경에 대한 SWOT 분석을 수행하였다. 한국 해군이 나아갈 방안으로 현재 진행중인 함대들의 통합전술재박훈련 체계를 중심으로 단계적이고 점진적인 접근을 통한 FST의 체계 정착이 제시되었다. In this research, political suggestions for Korean navy have been drawn through examination of FST (Fleet Synthetic Training), simulation based training system. We, first, reviewed overall concepts of FST and its key components. We then examined the current status of Korean navy in terms of preparation of FST system. To draw objective strategy and plan, indepth SWOT analysis from the stand point of our internal capability and FST aspect environment has been made. Gradual settlement on the current integrated tactical training in-port should be the good solution for Korean Navy.

        항공기 유형을 고려한 최적 예비엔진 및 모듈 소요 산출

        기지/창 계획정비와 불시 결함발생에 따른 항공기 불가동 최소화를 위해 장착엔진에 추가로 보유하는 엔진이 예비엔진으로 항공기의 적정 가용도 달성을 통한 군사력 유지에 핵심적인 중요성을 지닌다. 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 군용항공기의 유형을 고려한 예비엔진/모듈의 최적 소요를 산출하는 방법을 제시하는 것이다. 먼저, 이 분야의 대표적 접근법인 METRIC과 메타모형에 대하여 각각의 개념, 특징 및 제한사항을 고찰하고 본 연구에서의 접근 방향을 제시하였다. 다음으로, 다양한 군용항공기에 대한 검토를 수행하고 이들을 총 5가지 유형으로 분류하였다. 유형별 계획, 비계획 정비에 대한 상세 분석을 기반으로 관련된 변수와 파라메터들을 도출하였다. 본 문제의 복잡성으로 인해 수식을 이용한 최적해의 도출이 불가능하며, 기지/야전/창 등의 정비로직을 분석한 후 ARENA 기반의 시뮬레이션과 OptQuest를 이용하여 최적소요를 산출하였다. 개발된 시뮬레이션 모델이 일련의 사례들을 통하여 최적해를 효율적으로 도출할 수 있음을 보였다. Spare engine plays an important role for securing readiness of military strength during unexpected fault occurrences and field/depot planned maintenances. The purpose of this research is to present an approach towards the optimal number of spare engines/modules for diversity of aircraft types. We first reviewed two representative approaches, METRIC and meta model. We then investigated military aircrafts and categorized them into 5 types with regard to the engine type and number of engines/modules per aircraft. Through rigorous investigation of planned/non-planned maintenance of each type, we drew parameters and variables involved. As known, due to the complexity of the problem, it is impossible to develop a simple mathematical model with a closed form solution. Based on the airbase operation and maintenance logic with parameters/variable drawn, we developed a simulation model using ARENA well representing real field exercises. For the optimal solution, we applied OptQuest. It has shown that the program developed generates reliable results through a set of case examples.

        고장요인들에 대한 $217Plus^{TM}$ 시스템 모형의 민감도

        $217Plus^{TM}$, a newly developed as a surrogate of the MIL-HDBK-217, may be widely applied for reliability predictions of electronic systems. In this study, we performed sensitivity study of the $217Plus^{TM}$ system model to various parameters. Specific attention was put to logistics model and its behavior has been examined in terms of non-component failure causes. We first briefly explained the $217Plus^{TM}$ methodology with system level failure rate evaluation. We then applied experimental designs with several failure causes as factors. We used an orthogonal array with three levels of each parameter. Our results indicate that cannot duplicate, induced, and wear-out causes have dominant effects on the system failures and design, parts, and system management have much less but a little strong effects. The results in this study not only figure out the behavior of the predicted failure rate as functions of failure causes but provide meaningful guidelines for practical applications.

        현악기 제조 자동화시스템 구축을 위한 Mechanism 설계

        An automated manufacturing process mechanism for string musical instruments has been designed in this study. In contrast to other manufacturing products, classical string instruments try to preserve their traditional design shapes even in these days and involve variety of wood working(carpentry) characteristics including highly skilled curved surfaces treatments. Great efforts have been put to develop an integrated and automated system for improved product quality and process control, reduced physical labors, better safety etc. They, however, have been limited to devise jigs and tools with regard to selected processes due to lack of technology and research man-powers. We carefully examined the products and process characteristics, and an automated mechanism which overcome prevailing drawbacks has been derived.

      • 고압산소 치료기에 대한 고장모드 분석

        Reliability plays a pivotal role in the development of medical instruments. A hyperbaric oxygen chamber, as a medical/health device, is known to help medical therapy for diversity of diseases through provision of high purity oxygen. The use of hyperbaric oxygen chamber is expected to increase in the future and study to examine reliability and safety is needed. We have performed reliability assessment for a newly developed hyperbaric oxygen chamber in this study. We first briefly discussed the system structure and mechanism. We then performed FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) for the chamber. We drew major failure modes affecting the system performance and performed in depth analysis for measuring the expected effects.

        World governments and industries have put tremendous efforts for reduction of greenhouse gases. Specifically, IT (information technology) or ICT (information communication technology) is seen to play a pivotal role in green IT since it is deeply penetrated and related to all the industrial and business processes. The objective of this research is to enhance green maturity of a Gangwon province. We first discussed recent trends of green IT approaches/directions and prevailing green readiness indecies. Based on the environmental and industrial characteristics of Gangwon province. a future plan drawn has been examined with regard to a green IT maturity model.
