A Comparative Study on the Notion of Sudsidy in the ED"s Countervailing Measures and WTO Panel Report on Drams for Korea (Hynix)

  Among definitive countervailing measures imposed by the Community, a proceeding on DRAMs from Korea is more curious because the Community"s measure was challenged by the exporting company as well as the Government of the exporting country, Korea. The WTO panel issued a report on the ED"s countervailing measures on DRAMs from Korea.<BR>  The WTO panel published its report on 17 June 2005, although the Hynix case was still pending before the CFI at that time. Therefore the present contribution examines whether the notion of subsidy in the basic Community Regulation and subsidy in WTO law differ in key aspects through the analysis of the Community"s definitive countervailing measure on DRAMs from Korea and the panel report of the WTO.

中國의 通商政策 決定過程과 要因에 관한 硏究

  This study examines how China"s trade policy is formulated and implemented. China"s Trade Policy is a outcome of political activity involving coordination of the interest of various groups affected by changes in trade rules and regulations. Actually, decision making of China"s Trade Policy is affected by the interactive political process of several groups, but major decisions are made by the state and the party leaders first thing in the decision making factors.   According to this study, this paper is contributed as follows ; First, this study explore how decision making of the China"s Trade Policy and what is major participants on that decision making systems. Second, this study draw major factors on the decision making of China"s Trade Policy. Third, this paper analysis how to apply this mechanisms and conditions in the trade case between China and major countries including Korea.

해군정훈음악대가 한국음악계에 끼친 영향 연구

Haekunjeonghun Musical Band was a Marine band attached to the troop information and education(TI&E). It was established in October 1950, the year Korean War broke out. It developed performance activities for military men and civilians until its dissolution in 1957. Haekunjeonghun Musical Band gave influence upon the musical world of Korea with various aspects. Firstly, it saved Korean musicians’ life during the Korean War by giving special treatment as a civil service official and by offering the minimum cost of living. Secondly, it connected the development of Korean symphonic music movements. Because of the Korean War, that movements encountered crisis of discontinuance. Through activities of Haekunjeonghun Musical Band, Korean symphonic music movements could keep their development. Thirdly, it influenced directly on the musical world of Busan City and it’s activities gave an impetus to lots of musicians of Busan. Fourthly, it spread cultural diplomacy in the 1950s when Korea was recognized as a cultural desert. And it contribute to improve national image.

자외선 조사에 의한 일광화상 세포 형성에 미치는 국소 도포제의 영향에 관한 연구

Background: The sunburn cell is an abnormal keratinocyte of the skin induced by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, and is used as an indicator of cell damage. The sunburn cell is consideredas an apoptotic cell which has been caused by UV irradiation, and many studies have been performed to understand the mechanism of photodamage in relation to apoptosis. The mechanism of photodamage by UV irradiation is still unclear. However, it is suggested that oxygen stress by reactive oxygen species produced by the UV rays may play an important role. Objective : This study was a med at evaluating whether various antioxidants and sunscreen can prevent sunburn cell formation. In addition, we studied whether or not the sunburn cell is identical to an apoptotic cell stained using the TUNEL method. Methods : White mice (ICR strain) were used to test the potency of various topical agents which are used in the prevention of sunburn cell formation; the agents were various antioxidants of L-ascorbic acid, tocopherol, catalase, a reduced form of glutathione (GSH), and sunscreen PABA (para-amino benzoic acid). Each agent was topically applied daily for 5 consecutive days on the dorsal skin of the ears. 300 mJ/cm of UV-B was irradiated on the ears 30 mins after the final applicaion, and skin samples were taken 24 hrs after that. The sunburn cells in the H & E stain were counted per 1 mm under the microscope. Also, the same sections for the sunburn cell study were stained by the TUNEL method using the ApopTag In Situ Apoptosis Detection Kit (Oncor, Inc.). Results : The number of sunburn cells increased in a UV-B dosage-dependent. manner up to 300 mJ/cm2. The potency in the reduction of sunburn cell formation was as follows in order,PABA (0.37 + 0,5), GSH (0.87 + 0.5), ascorbic acid (1.62 + 0.85) and tocopherol (1.75 + 1.12). However catalase (2.93 + 1.56) did not show any protective effect. Also, the finding that sunburn cells were the same as TUNEL-positive cells confirmed the notion that the sunburn cell is a kind of apototic cell. Conclusion : A sunburn cell is a kind of apoptotic cell that may be caused by reactive oxygen species induced by UV-B irradiation, in view of the fact that sunburn cell formation was inhibited by the topical application of various antioxidants. But the result that physical protection by PABA has the most potent protective effect in relation to sun damage suggests that protection using a combined physical and biochemical approach is important in the development of new topical agents which will inhibit sundamage to the skin. 갈리아 성가의 흔적: 성금요일 전례 성가 <임프로페리아>(Improperia)

그레고리오 성가 발생 이전 프랑크 지역에는 이미 갈리아 성가가 고유의 형식을 갖추고 사용되고 있었다. 그러나 8세기경 프랑크 왕들이 전체 가톨릭 세계를 통일하려는 정치적 목적으로 로마의 전례와 성가를 도입하면서 갈리아 성가와 로마 성가가 혼합된 그레고리오 성가 레퍼토리가 형성되었고, 갈리아 성가는 본연의 모습을 잃고 사라지게 된다. 본 논문의 목적은 성금요일 전례 성가 <임프로페리아>(Improperia)의 고찰을 통해 갈리아 성가 원래의 모습 내지는 특성을 추적해내는 것에 있다. 이 성가는 갈리아 성가로서 사라지지 않고 계속 불리다가 12세기 경 다시 그레고 리오 성가로 유입된 성가이다. 갈리아 전례 및 성가의 특성은 ``축제적 화려함,`` ``극적 요소,`` ``긴 기도문의 선호,`` ``비-시편적 조각 잇기식 가사`` 등이다. 이러한 특성들은 갈리아 성가인 <임프로페리아>에서 다양한 모습으로 드러난다. ``축제적 화려함``의 요소는 이 성가가 성금요일 전례라는 독특한 기념일 예식을 위해 사용되고 있다는 점과 관련지을 수 있다. 또한 제2부 각 구절의 선율 구조가 시편창법의 제1선법을 토대로 하고 있지만 시편창법보다 훨씬 더 길고 장황하다는 점에서 찾을 수 있다. ``극적 요소``는 이 성가의 연주 방식에서 찾아 볼 수 있는데, 예수의 질책 부분은 예수의 역할을 하는 독창자가, 그에 대한 응답은 합창이 노래함으로써 극적인 효과를 이끌어낸다. 또한 가사를 질문 형태로 구성한 것과 강조를 위해 대조법을 사용하고 있는 점도 이 성가의 극적인 특성이다. ``긴 기도문의 선호``라는 특성은 이 성가의 구성 형식이 제1부나 제2부 모두 독창자의 노래가 선창되고 합창이 그에 대해 응답하는 끊임없이 이어지는 기도문의 형식으로 되었다는 점에서 찾을 수 있다. ``비-시편적 조각 잇기식 가사``의 특성은 이 성가의 가사가 시편이 아닌 구약이나 신약 성서를 기초로 하고 있으며, 성서구절의 단편들을 모아놓은 조각 잇기식 구성을 보인다는 점에서 나타난다. The Gallican liturgy and chant formed in 5th century and flourished in the kingdom of the Franks for centuries. In the later years of the eighth century, Pepin and his son Charlemagne, the first Carolingians, oppressed the Gallican liturgy and chant proper in other to standardize their liturgy and chant with the Roman liturgy and chant. The Gallican liturgy and chant disappeared before the development of musical notation. For this reason, it``s very difficult to find examples of the original Gallican chant. Improperia, a chant of Good Friday, was derived from the Gallican liturgy and taken over into the Gregorian repertoire. It seems to find some characters of the Gallican chant proper from Improperia. This chant is composed in two part; 1st part is made up 3 reproaches and the Trisagion, a kind of a refrain, and 2nd part 9 verses and refrains. In the aspect of melody, 3 reproaches show a resemblance for one another, but the Trisagion parts have different melodic lines from reproaches. 9 verses`` melodic structure are based on the psalm tone for mode 1, but they are more prolix than psalm tone``s in regard to having decorated melodies in the mediant and in the termination and using an intonation for the second part of a verse, too. In the aspect of text, all the reproaches and all the verses use a syncrisis. Every reproach and every verse compare two events in the Bible; one is events related the Exodus of the Old Testament and the other is events related Jesus`` death upon the Cross of the New Testament. The characters of the Gallican chant in Improperia are as follows; ``splendor of festive,`` ``dramatic elements,`` ``preference for long prayers,`` and ``using of non-psalmic centonated texts.`` Furthermore, we can find a trace of the Gallican chant in Improperia from using of the pes stratus, a semiologic sign used in Gallican region.
