협동조합을 통한 지역경제 활성화 : 광주광역시 대상으로

협동조합을 통한 지역경제 역동성을 위하여 협동조합 개념, 협동조합기본법 검토, 선행연구와 광주광역시의 주요 현황과 산업구조 특징을 분석하고 광주시민 대상 면담조사를 바탕으로 광주에 적합한 「광주형 협동조합」유형을 도출한다. 이러한 유형에 따른 선행과제와 자치단체의 역할뿐 아니라 단계별 지원 방안을 제시하여 협동조합을 통한 광주의 지역경제 활성화의 기초자료를 제안하는데 연구 목적을 두었다. 협동조합으로 설립 가능한 업종은 전 분야라고 볼 수 있을 정도로 다양하다. 협동조합을 상상의 산물이라고 한 것도 다양성을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 다양한 가능성속에서 지역 특성에 적합한 협동조합 유형을 추출하여, 지역경제 역동성을 선도할 수 있는 견인 동력으로 미래를 대비하는 것은 지역혁신의 첫 단계라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 연구결과로 제시한 5개 유형과 유형별, 단계별 지원으로 경쟁력 강화를 위한 협동조합 규모화와 국제적 수준의 광주형 대표 ‘협동조합연합회’가 출범하여 협동조합을 통한 지역경제 활성화에 기여하는데 있다. This study is to research the specific roles for the regional economic development by Cooperatives. This study propose the basic data for the local economic activations of Gwangju, through cooperatives by reviewing the concept of cooperatives and the framework act on cooperatives, by analysing the leading researches and major status and the characteristics of industrial structure of Gwangju, by deriving the suitable cooperative types of Gwangju, and by suggesting the leading challenges and the roles of local governments and local government"s stage supporting measures. Cooperatives can be established in all areas of the industry. Cooperatives is a product of the infinite imagination and diversity. In these various possibilities, it is very meaningful working to select the appropriate cooperative types for the regional characteristics, but during the diversity, it is needed to track the leading models for the first step of regional innovation and these models can be the cornerstone to prepare the future. Therefore, the aims of this study is to contribute to the regional economic developments by showing that the five types of cooperatives are preferentially required and the step-by-step stages of cooperatives are consistently supported, by building the scaled cooperatives to strengthen the competitiveness, and by inaugurating the representative Gwangju types’ Cooperative Association at the international level.
