지역이탈의 악순환: 출생지의 경제 환경과 청년 취업자의 지역이탈

Regional migration is a problem faced by all non-metropolitan areas in Korea, but the extent of migration varies depending on regional economic conditions. This study examines how the extent of youth migration varies depending on the economic conditions of their birthplaces. The results showed that youth migration was more severe in areas suffering from population decline and aging problems. The smaller the economy and the weaker the financial independence of the region, the more severe the youth migration. In particular, commercial, educational, and cultural facilities, except for medical facilities, were not able to curb youth migration. In addition, there was a significant wage gap between those employed in the metropolitan area and those employed in the regions, regardless of their origin. This suggests that non-metropolitan areas are caught in a vicious cycle of regional economic deterioration and youth migration.

공공조달은 정부가 세금을 재원으로 하여 공적활동에 필요한 자원을 민간시장으로부터 획득하는 과정이다. 공공조달이 국가경제에서 차지하는 비중이 매우 높지만 공공조달이 기업에 미치는 영향에 대한 학문적 논의는 비교적 최근에 이르러서야 이루어지고 있다. 공공조달은 민간시장에서의 거래에 비하여 안정적인 거래로 수혜기업에 유리한 조건을 제공하여 중소기업 등 취약기업을 지원하는 정책도구로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 공공조달은 보호된 시장을 형성하여 시장 효율성을 저해할 우려가 있고, 그로 인해 근본적인 기업 경쟁력을 제고할 수 있는지에 대한 의문이 제기될 수 있다. 본 연구는 상장기업의 공공조달 참여여부가 기업가치에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 분석결과 소속시장에 따라 그 효과가 달랐다. 코스피 시장에서는 공공조달 참여기업의 시장가치가 낮게 평가되었다. 반면, 코스닥 시장에서는 공공조달 참여에 따른 기업가치의 차이는 없었지만, 낙찰실적이 높을수록 기업가치가 더 높게 평가되는 것으로 나타났다. Public procurement is the process by which governments use tax money to acquire resources for public activities from the private sector. Although public procurement accounts for a large share of the national economy, academic discourse on its impact is relatively recent. Public procurement has been widely used as a policy tool to support vulnerable enterprises such as SMEs by providing stable and favorable conditions for them compared to transactions in the private sector. However, public procurement may create a protected market and undermine market efficiency, raising the question of whether it can improve a company’s fundamental competitiveness. This study examines how public procurement affects the market value of listed firms. In the KOSDAQ market, it is found that companies with experience in public procurement were undervalued. In the KOSDAQ market, on the other hand, there was no difference in valuation based on participation in public procurement, but higher bid performance was associated with higher valuations.

Hub-and-Spoke 시스템 기반의 UAM 서비스 최적 네트워크 설계

This study develops a bi-objective mathematical model to determine optimal locations for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) vertiports in Seoul, South Korea. Utilizing a variety of data sources, including commercial area statistics and aviation regulations, the proposed model finds an optimal vertiport network layout for UAM service based on hub–and-spoke system. The model demonstrates a trade-off between vertiport establishment costs and logistics accessibility, with higher investments leading to improved accessibility and reduced logistics costs. Pareto optimal solutions are obtained using the ε-constraint methodology, highlighting the balance between cost efficiency and operational effectiveness in UAM network planning. The findings offer actionable insights for urban transportation planners and policymakers considering the implementation of UAM services in the near future. However, the scope of this study is limited to a specific urban context, suggesting the need for further research in diverse urban settings. This research could contribute significantly to the discourse on UAM systems, underscoring their potential in urban traffic management and mobility enhancement.
