In this literature when the utility line is normal, the Off-Line UPS operates as an active power filter to compensate the reactive power from a load, and when the utility line is in outage, the Off-Line UPS operates as in single phase inverter to supply an active and reactive power to the load. An additional static switch in UPS was used to decrease an transient state during these mode changes. And the result shows that the transient state disappeared.

In this paper, we propose a intelligent controller design method for the water level control of the power plant drum in the form of nonminimum phase system. The proposed method is based on T. Takagi and M. Sugeno"s fuzzy model. And we illustrate the improved characteristics as the simulation results, comparing with the conventional the PID and LQ controller design method.

In this literature, we propose the design method of a proportional pressure control valve using valve system analysis and finite element method. And it is shown that a manufactured proportional pressure control valve character is well matched to the theoretical analysis results. Also it is verified that the proposed valve has excellent performance compared to the other foreign products.

In this paper, we present a method of fuzzy controller design for the power plant superheater in the form of bilinear system. For the steam temperature control, the input variables are constructed by the area of difference between the profiles estimated from bilinear observer and reference profiles, and the time rate of change. We estimate the control rules by T. Takagi and M. Sugeno"s fuzzy model. The feasibilities of the suggested method are illustrated via the computer simulation result.

본 논문에서는 고차시스템을 간략화하기 위한 저차 근사화 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 보다 우수한 저주파수 정합도를 나타내고, 간략화된 저차 시스템의 분자 및 분모다항식에 대한 계수벡터을 추정하는 컴퓨터를 이용한 알고리즘을 제공한다. 그리고 제안된 방식의 유용성을 보이기 위해서 두개의 예제가 주어진다. This paper presents a reduced order approximation method for simplifying the high-order systems. The proposed methods provide better low frequency fit and a computer aided algorithm that estimates the coefficients vector for the numerator and denominator polynomial on the simplified systems. And two examples are given to illustrate the feasibilities of the suggested schemes.
