국내 유일한 계산과학플랫폼인 EDISON은 11년동안 지속적으로 언제나 어디서나 가능한 온라인 학습환경을 제공해왔다. 이러한 교육환경을 통해서 통계적으로 2019년을 기준으로 74,231명의 사용자를 보유하고 있고 848개의 SW콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 2119개의 강좌를 활용대학에서 사용하고 있으며 이러한 통계수치를 토대로 플랫폼의 우수성과 활용가능성을 나타냈다. 그러한 이유는 EDISON은 시뮬레이션을 활용하는 유용한 플랫폼이며 앞으로도 활용 및 유지가 가능하다는 점을 보여주었기 때문이다. EDISON 플랫폼을 개발하여 교육이 제공하는 공학지식을 전달할 뿐 아니라 EDISON 플랫폼은 계산과학을 활용하여 수치계산과 시뮬레이션을 통한 솔루션을 제시하여 비대면 학습환경을 제공하였다. 또한 2011년부터 제공한 플랫폼을 통해 사용자들의 취업률을 향상시켜 인재육성 및 활용을 높였다. 계산과학을 활용하여 EDISON 플랫폼을 개발 및 활용했기 때문에 가능한 결과들이며 앞으로 교육 및 연구 EDSION 플랫폼으로서 지속적인 발전할 수 있을 것이다. The only domestic computational science and engineering platform, EDISON has been provided whenever and wherever learning environment for 11 years. Throughout this learning environment, statistically 74,231 users has been used the platform, 848 SW contents are developed. Also there has been 2119 lectures in universities which reflects excellence and usability of the platform. EDISON is usable platform which conducts simulation and can be used and maintained in the future. EDISON platform not only provides engineering knowledge and non face-to-face learning environment by solutions through numerical calculation and simulation using computational science. Employment rate of users has been improved that human resource development and utilization are enhanced through platform provided since 2011. These are possible results due to EDISON platform has been developed and utilized using computational science and will continue to be developed as an education and research EDISON platform in the future.
