한련초 추출물을 이용한 모발염색의 매염방법에 관한 연구

In order to development of natural hairdye and the colorimetric values were analyzed using the extract of Eclipta prostrata L., which has been used to produce natural coloring material for a long time in Korea, with various mordanting agents and coloring methods.<BR> The colorimetric values depending on mordanting agents were as follows. Colors in NaCl and KAl(SO4)2?12H2O were showed similar to the ones in non-mordanting group. The color of the hair dyed with FeO and CuO mostly became to dark with low chromaticity. Especially, when hair was dyed with FeO as mordanting agent, the color became to almost black regardless of mordanting method.<BR> The experimental results depending on the mordanting methods were as follows. The hair colors in post-mordanting method was darker than those in pre-mordanting method. When it comes to processing time, the longer time produced the better quality.

Henna extract had been used as a natural coloring material in India for a long time, and the rate of usage has been increased with the various mordanting agents and coloring methods. This study is to investigate the damaged degree of hairs treated with synthetic dye, and henna dye and the effect of the mordanting agents on hair dye with henna.<BR> The intensity was significantly increased in synthetic dyed group compared with henna dyed group and the extensity was significantly decreased in synthetic dyed group than henna dyed group. In micrography findings, synthetic dyed group showed the departed cuticles and the severe damaged cuticles. We used NaCl, ACOOH, Kal(SO4)212H2O, CuO, FeO and K2CO3 as mordanting agents in our experiment. In henna dye, Kal(SO4)212H2O and FeO treated groups showed the intendancy with the increased intensity and the decreased extensity, and a little damaged hair cuticles in micrography findings compared with no mordanting agent treated group. In conclusion, synthetic dye compared with henna dye caused the severe damaged hairs, and Kal(SO4)212H2O and FeO of mordanting agents compared with others on henna dye showed a little damaged hair cuticles.
Tungstate 첨가식이 조건에 따른 PPD 도포가 흰쥐 피부조직 손상에 미치는 영향

Xenobiotics such as p-pheylenediamine (PPD) , one of hair dye ingredients, have different responses to human body dependant on absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, dose and duration of xenobiotics. PPD causes systemic dermatitis and bladder cancer so on. This study is performed to investigate the severe degree of skin toxicity of applied PPD in tungs tate induced xanthine oxidase(XO) deficient model as for the exposed duration. PPD (2.5% PPD in 2% NH40H) were applied to rat skin (25mg/ 16.5crrr’) two or six times every other day in rats fed tungstate diet for 4 days or 12 days and standard diet. There were determined the increased activity of acid phosphatase (ACP) and the increased content of lipid peroxide (LPO) in PPD applied group two times fed tungstate diet for 4 days(PTC) or six times for 12 days(PPTTC) compared with PPD applied group two(PSC) or six times(PPSC) respectively, and The skin tissue was severe as long as the administrated duration was. In the experimental conditions, PTC and PPTTC showed more severe skin damage compared with the PSC and PPSC respectively wheres XO activity was almost not detected in PTC and PPTTC. In addition, there were more decreased rates of the activities of ROS scavenging enzymes and glutathione(GSH) contents in PTC to PTTC compared with PSC to PPSC In conclusion, the increased severity of skin tissue may be due to the excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS) by the long exposed durations of PPD application and tungstate supplemented diet.
