유아의 음악 감상을 통한 통합적인 음악활동이 음악능력 및 음악적 창의력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 유치원 음악 활동을 통해 유아의 창의적인 음악적 성장을 도울 수 있는 체계적 음악 감상 활동을 구안하고, 주제중심의 음악 감상 활동 수업 모델을 제시하고자 하였다. 또한 유아의 음악 감상 활동을 통한 통합적인 음악활동이 음악능력 및 음악적 창의력에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 대구광역시에 소재한 B유치원의 만4세 유아 60명과 만5세 유아 60명 총 120명의 유아를 대상으로 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 우선 연구대상의 음계 청음능력, 음악적 개념 및 음악적 창의성에 대한 사전검사를 실시하였다. 음악 감상 활동은 1회에 30분씩 16회에 걸쳐 7주 동안 실시하였으며, 감상활동이 종료된 뒤 사후검사를 실시하였다. 검사결과 첫째, 유아의 음악 감상활동이 유아의 음악 능력향상에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 음계 청음능력에서는 여아가 남아에 비해 더 민감하며, 음악 감상에 기초한 통합적인 음악활동은 유아의 청각기능 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 음악 감상을 통한 통합적인 음악활동은 유아의 음악적 개념발달에 있어 전반적으로 긍정적인 영향을 주지만, 이 영향은 성별에 따른 차이가 없으며, 넷째, 유아들의 성장 특성에 따른 통합적인 음악 활동을 한 유아들은 전형적인 음악활동을 한 유아들보다 음악적 창의성 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 음악 감상을 통한 통합적 음악활동이 유아의 음악능력 및 창의성 발달에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. This study aims to determine systematic music activities that can help young children with their musical growth and to present a model class for music appreciation activities focused on themes. As well, it is aimed at identifying the effectiveness of integrated music activities through young children`s music appreciation on musical abilities and musical creativities. For these purposes, a pre-test on aural perception of musical scale, musical concepts and musical creativity was conducted among the subjects of total 120 young children (60 four-year-olds and 60 five-year-olds) at B Kindergarten in Daegu. And then, music was played for children`s music appreciation for 30 minutes at a time, making 16 sessions in all for 7 weeks. The post test was conducted with the same tools. The conclusions drawn from the findings are as follows: First, it is found that music appreciation affects the improvement of young children`s musical abilities. Second, as to the findings concerning the differences in aural perception abilities of musical scale by sex and by age reveal that girls respond to sounds more sensitively than boys, and the four-year-olds and five-year-olds have similar responses. Third, musical concepts can develop when children are given music appreciation activities appropriate to their development. However, in the musical concept test by sex, there is no significant difference by sex with overall significance level of p<.05. Fourth, it is found that those young children who participated in integrated musical activities in consideration of characteristics of their growth show higher scores in musical creativity than those who were engaged in conventional music activities. Therefore, it is proved that children`s creativity improved after the program was conducted. In other words, integrated activities through music appreciation including listening to sounds and searching, singing and playing musical instruments are effective to promote young children`s musical creativity.
