제임스 조이스는 의식의 흐름 소설로 유명한 아일랜드 작가이다. 20세기 모더니즘 소설의 선구자로서 그의 작품은 모더니즘 문학 창작에 지대한 영향을 미쳤으며 20세기 서양문학 전체의 발전을 강력하게 추진하였다. 단편 모음집 Dubliners는 Joyce의 초기 작품이자 그의 중요한 대표 작품 중 하나이다. Dubliners는 아일랜드의 수도인 Dublin의 영적 발전을 보여주는 15개의 겉보기에는 연결되지 않았지만 본질적으로 독립적인 이야기의 모음이다. 어린 시절, 청소년기에서 성인기, 그리고 공적 생활에 이르기까지 Joyce의 Dublin City와 Dubliners의 삶은 많은 차이점이 있지만 공통점이 하나 있다.그것은“마비” 이다. James Joyce is a famous Irish writer of stream-of-consciousness fiction. As a pioneer of modernist novels in the 20th century, his works had a vast and profound influence on creating modernist literary works. They strongly promoted the development of the entire Western literature in the 20th century. The short story collection Dubliners(1914) is Joyce's early work and one of his essential representative works. Dubliners is a collection of fifteen seemingly unconnected but inherently self-contained stories that illustrate the spiritual development of Dublin, the capital of Ireland. From childhood, adolescence to adulthood, and then to public life, Joyce's Dublin City and Dubliners' lives have many differences, but they have one thing in common-"paralysis." Dubliners widely uses symbolism. On the one hand, it can promote the theme of the work and content, mainly because Joyce's works represent all times and people. Most countries, including Ireland, were in crisis during the imperialist period. The use of symbolism made Joyce's work enter the hearts of Dubliners and the cities across the country, which played a role in creating moral history for Ireland and other Western countries. On the other hand, symbolism deepens the theme and typical scenes of the work, and both the layout of the work and the organization of words are deeply influenced by symbolism. Dubliners fully shows the negative state of the country, deeply revealing the theme of the paralysis of the country and its people. Joyce's writing is exquisite, and his thoughts are deeply expressed. Joyce employs a number of artistic touches in these stories to make the articles more engaging. In particular, the use of symbolism in work links the major themes closely to the individual minor themes. This thesis analyzes Dubliners from the perspective of symbolism in order to better interpret the theme of paralysis. The paper is divided into six parts: Introduction, four parts, and Conclusion. The first chapter introduces Dubliners and its writing background, a review of its previous research, symbolic and symbolism and the function of symbolism in Joyce's works, and the design of the thesis. The main body includes chapters two to four. The second chapter mainly discusses the application of symbolism in the structure of Dubliners. 콘텐츠 기반 필터링을 적용한 논문추천시스템에 대한 연구
이 연구의 목적은 콘텐츠 기반 필터링을 기반으로 LDA 모델 및 TPIPF의 계산방법을 적용한 새로운 논문추천시스템을 제안하는 데에 있다. 이 연구에서는 추천시스템에 관한 이론적 고찰과 선행 논문추천시스템에 적용한 추천기법을 조사하고 분석하였다. 추천기법은 논문추천시스템의 특성에 맞는 콘텐츠 기반 필터링을 선택하였다. 또한 논문 간의 의미적인 관계를 잘 파악하기 위하여 토픽모델링인 LDA 모델을 적용하였다. 이외에 이용자의 정보 요구를 정확하게 반영하기 위하여 이용자 프로파일에 TFIDF의 원리를 응용한 TPIPF라는 새로운 계산방법을 제안하였다. 여기에서 콘텐츠 기반 필터링을 기반으로 LDA 모델 및 TPIPF의 계산방법을 적용하여 제안된 논문추천시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 CiteULike 웹사이트에서 데이터를 수집하여 LDA 모델의 최적화와 관련된 실험, 제안된 논문추천시스템의 최적화와 관련된 실험, 기존의 평균으로 구현된 논문추천시스템과의 비교 실험을 실시하였다. 위와 같은 연구방법으로 수행된 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, LDA 모델의 최적화와 관련된 실험에서 스테밍은 StemCompletion 방법, 단어를 제거하는 방법인 colsum_5 방법, 그리고 주제의 수가 50일 때 LDA 모델의 성능이 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 제안된 논문추천시스템의 최적화와 관련된 실험에서 스테밍은 StemCompletion 방법, 단어를 제거하는 방법인 colsum_5 방법, 그리고 주제의 수가 50일 때 제안된 논문추천시스템의 성능이 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 LDA 모델의 최적화와 관련된 실험에서도 같은 결과가 나타났다. 제안된 논문추천시스템의 최적화와 관련된 실험에서는 세 가지 추론방법에서 VEM 방법으로, 추천된 논문의 수가 10일 때 시스템의 성능이 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이용자 프로파일이 클수록 시스템의 성능이 좋아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기존의 평균으로 구현된 논문추천시스템과의 비교 실험에서 제안된 논문추천시스템은 추천의 정확률에서 기존의 논문추천시스템보다 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통계적으로 입증하기 위하여 대응표본 t검증을 한 결과도 역시 이와 같다. 연산시간에 대한 실험에서 제안된 논문추천시스템은 연산시간이 더 길지만 증가한 연산시간보다 성능을 더 많이 상승시켰다.
