For regenerative pump performance test, we made 5 times enlarged and 3 different kinds blade types impeller with similarity. Due to geometrical characteristic of regenerative pump, there are two kinds of groups which effect on performance of it. One is geometric shape of impeller blade and the other is clearance and inlet/outlet head loss. To study performance of regenerative pump with impeller shape changes, we tested it with reducing clearance. And we reconcile performance data in the case of zero clearance and zero inlet/outlet head loss. Finally we could verify the influence of each group.

Experimental research has been observed to investigate stall inception characteristics in 4 stage axial compressor. To analyze instantaneous static pressure signal which was measured using a fast response pressure sensor, the signal was decomposed into shaft resolved component, periodic and aperiodic revolution components for two kinds of flow rates. In both flow rates, shaft order periodicity was confirmed by signal decomposition. However, at low flow rate, the amplitude of aperiodic revolution component was 50 percent bigger than that of high flow rate. It means that at high flow rate, circumferential static pressure field is more stable than low flow rate condition. The compressor performance test was performed in no-stall, stall onset and fully developed stall conditions. Even in stall condition, dimensionless performances of three different shaft speeds were corresponded well. The frequency of shaft order perturbation, mode and fully developed stall were analyzed by frequency analysis methods.
퇴행성관절염의 사람 무릎관절 윤활막에서 Tenascin 발현에 대한 면역전자현미경적 연구

사람 무릎관절의 윤활막을 대상으로 정상과 퇴행성관절염 시의 윤활막의 변화와 tenascin의 발현을 면역전자현미경적 방법으로 비교, 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 정상의 윤활막과 비교하여 퇴행성관절염 시에 윤활막이 두터워지는 것은 주로 윤활분비세포의 수적인 증가에 의한 것임을 알 수 있었다. 2. Tenascin에 대한 면역금의 관찰 결과 정상의 윤활막을 구성하는 세포에서는 면역금의 표지가 관찰되지 않았다. 3. 퇴행성관절염 시 윤활막의 윤활분비세포 과립세포질 세망에서 면역금의 표지가 관찰되어 tenascin의 분비세포가 윤활분비세포임을 확인할 수 있으며, 윤활세포 사이의 바탕질의 아교섬유에서도 tenascin의 표지가 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면, 퇴행성관절염 시에 윤활막이 두터워지는 것과 병변의 진행과정에, 윤활분비세포의 수가 증가와 tenascin의 발현 증가가 관련성이 있는 것으로 생각된다. To observe the morphological changes and the expression of tenascin in synovium of human knee joint, between normal condition and degenerative arthritis, were processed by immunoelectron microscopic method. The results were summarized as follows. 1. In degenerative arthritis, the hyperplasia of synovial membrane was characterized by the increase of cell number in secretory synovial cells. 2. In normal condition, there was no marking of the immuno-gold for tenascin in synovial membrane. 3. In degenerative arthritis, the immuno-gold for tenascin were observed in endoplasmic reticulum of secretory synovial cells and extracellular matrix of synovial layer. On the basis of above findings, the hyperplasia of synovial membrane and the pathologic processes may be concerned with the increase of number of secretory synovial cells and of expression of tenascin, in degenerative arthritis.
퇴행성 무릎관절염에서 윤활막의 perlecan에 관한 면역전자현미경적 연구

무릎관절 윤활막에서 heparan sulfate proteoglycan인 perlecan의 윤활막 내 표지 부위를 규명하고, 정상과 퇴행성 무릎관절염에서 perlecan 발현의 차이를 보기 위하여, 정상과 퇴행성 무릎관절염의 소견을 보이는 환자의 무릎관절 윤활막 각각5례를 사용하여 perlecan에 대한 면역조직화학적 염색과 면역금 표지 후 투과전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과, 다음과 같은결론을 얻었다. 1. 정상 및 퇴행성 무릎관절염 환자의 무릎관절 윤활막에 대한 perlecan의 면역조직화학 염색 결과, 정상 무릎관절 윤활 막 1~2개 층의 윤활세포층에서 perlecan 양성반응이 관찰되었고, 퇴행성 무릎관절염 윤활막의 윤활세포층에서도 perlecan 표지를 관찰할 수 있었으나 그 표지 양상은 표면의 한 층 정도였고, 정상에 비하여 약하게 나타났다. 2. 면역전자현미경 관찰 결과, 정상 무릎관절 윤활막 내 윤활분비세포의 과립세포질세망에서 perlecan이 다수 표지 되었 으며, 윤활포식세포의 세포질 내 공포에서 perlecan이 표지되었다. 또한, 윤활세포층의 바탕질인 세포 주변부위에서 perlecan이 표지 되었다. 3. 퇴행성 무릎관절염 환자에서도 윤활분비세포의 과립세포질세망과 윤활포식세포의 공포 주변부에서 perlecan이 표지 되었으나, 전반적인 양상이 정상에 비하여 약한 표지를 보였다. 이상의 결과로, 사람 무릎관절 윤활세포층 내의 윤활분비세포가 perlecan을 분비하며, 윤활포식세포의 공포에서 perlecan표지는 윤활포식세포에 의한 포식작용이고, 바닥막 구성 성분 중 하나인 perlecan이 윤활세포층의 바탕질에서도 존재함을확인하였다. 또한, 정상과 퇴행성 무릎관절염 환자의 윤활막을 비교해 볼 때, 정상에 비해 퇴행성 무릎관절염에서 perlecan발현은 감소된다. This study was designed to observe the expression of perlecan in the normal and degenerative arthritic synovial membrane. By using the immunohistochemical staining and immuno-electron microscopical gold labeling techniques, we observed five materials of normal and degenerative arthritic synovia each. The results were as follows. 1. By the immunohistochemical methods, perlecan-positive staining was seen on the 1~2 cell layers of the normal synovial membrane. But, a weaker staining compared to that seen in the normal synovial membrane was found in the degenerative arthritic synovial membrane. 2. Under the electron microscopic observation, perlecan was largely distributed in the rough endoplasmic reticulum of the secretory synovial cell, and in the vacuoles of the phagocytic synovial cell on the normal synovium of the human knee joint. It was also found in the extracellular matrix of the synovial membrane. 3. Perlecan-positive cells were also identified on the degenerative arthritic synovium of the human knee joint. However, fewer perlecan was observed here than that found in the normal synovium. In conclusion, perlecan is synthesized by the secretory synovial cells and degraded by the phagocytic synovial cells. And it, known as a major component of the basement membrane, also proven to exist in the extracellular matrix of the synovial membrane having no basement membrane. From the fact that less perlecan was observed in the degenerative arthritis, perlecan is might to play a major role in the degenerative process.
별늑대거미 (Pardosa astrigera L. Koch) 서폐의 미세구조

The book lung in the wolf spider, Pardosa astrigera was consisted of a series of flattened triangular-shaped air sacs, stacked with about 70 sheets, and was located in the ventrolateral region of opisthosoma. Each hemolymph spaces (average $8{\mu}m$ in thickness) surrounded by the air sacs (average $6{\mu}m$ in thickness). The air sacs was supported by cylindrical cuticular spikes of microfibril bundles. Epithelial cell processes surrounded the hemolymph spaces. The nuclei of the epithelial cells were concentrated near the atrium. In the middle portion of air sac, the epithelial cells formed pillars across the hemolymph spaces and spot desmosome and zonula adherens were seen between the plasma membranes. In the hemolymph space of this spider, granular hemocytes (average diameter $8{\mu}m$) were the most dominant type of hemocytes. In the medial sinus, the hemolymph flow between the air sacs of a paired book lungs and then flow out of the lung vein. The air comes in the atrium through the ventral lung slit and makes a tidal wave in and out of the air sacs.

In this research, experimental investigation has been observed to enhance 4 stage axial compressor stability by steady air injection. By injecting air in front of 1st stage rotor tip, compressor operation range was extended about 4% based on no injection condition. The stall onset stage, signal frequency and stall cell feature were analyzed and these characters were compared with no injection condition's. Even though, no significant different was detected in steady air injection, except stall onset performance point, this results can be used as a reference for selecting injection stages in multistage compressor.

This study presents the stability enhancement of a 4-stage low speed axial compressor by pulsating injection. The compressor performance characteristics have been analyzed in pulsating condition, First, the compressor operation range has been compared with no injection condition. Under the pulsation condition, the compressor operation range was extended to 4.9 ~ 6 % than that of no injection condition. Second, the effect of pulsation amplitude on operation range extension was analyzed. The amplitude of pulsation was divided to 4 steps with the same nozzle flow rate, and the compressor operation range was analyzed. Third, the additional compressor pressure rise was analyzed in pulsating condition, and it was compared with that of steady injection condition.
