AR PETITE THEATER:
Vol.2014 No.2
Empathy is essential for children in order to get along with friends in class without conflicts. Despite the emergence of many digital reading applications, it is difficult to find reading systems that fully consider development of children’s empathy levels. AR Petite Theater is a children-oriented system that combines analog reading activity and digital technology which incorporates development psychology. Selecting emotions and taking dialogs lead the child’s empathy for character and these connect authoring behavior of scene. Then, AR Petite Theater shows a review play by playing authored contents.
Vol.5 No.1
Autonomous vehicles must determine the best action when its unavoidable crashes cause damage to humans. This moral dilemma urges the preparation of a moral system for autonomous vehicles. Motivated by psychological human morality, this study aims to establish drivers’ moral codes learned from human reasoning in Autonomous Vehicles moral dilemma scenarios. This study answers the qualitative questions, that is “when” human drivers can get into moral dilemmas in crash situations and “how and why” they make certain moral decisions in such situations. Through the thought experiment of moral dilemma crash scenarios, we organized the moral codes from the perspective of human drivers. Inter-rater reliability of the codes was evaluated as K=0.35, which means fair agreement. The results suggest that human drivers rely on the moral codes of norms, procedures, and actions to make their moral decisions.

Goal of this research is to suggest Future Robotic Computer, the most advanced form of computer that is a combination of robot and a personal computer. This research is focused on state feedback interaction design between the user and FRC in the form of LED signals that occurs during the development of FRC. The main feature of FRC that differentiate it from the computer is it's 'movement'. It requires certain amount of 'lifelikeness' and it was expressed with state expression along with ambience media. The usage scenario is mainly divided into idle mode, inaction mode, and re-action mode. Based on the results from previous background research, main stream of this research can be selected through using appropriate metaphors for each section through color, switching on and off, and light flow of LED.
