Differentiation between benign and malignant hepatic lesions was attempted according to the shape of the lesion, internal architecture and characteristics of signal intensity on MR images. We retrospectively analyzed 20 cases of hemangiomas. 12 cases of hepatomas and 5 case of cysts which were diagnosed by clinical, radiological and surgical methods (33 patients). On T1-weighted proton weighted, and T2-weighted images, most hemangiomas (70%) and cysts (100%) had smooth margin and were round or oval in shape, while hepatocellular carcinomas had irregular (67%) or lobulated (33%) borders. Ninety percent of hemangiomas and 100% of cysts had homogeneous signal intensity, but 67% of hepatocellular carcinomas were inhomogeneous. Signal intensities of hepatocellular carcinomas were more variable. However, hemangiomas were isointense or hyperintense on proton weighted images, and markedly hyperintense on T2-weighted images. In conclusion, inhomogenous, irregular border, and variable signal intensity lesions had a high likelihood of malignancy, while homogeneous and markedly hyperintense lesions were more likely benign.

Regarding the teacher as the essential element in determining quality of education, the quality of mathematics teacher, as the essential element in determining the quality off mathematics education, is mostly influenced by the quality of training institution for the teacher of mathematics. Under the system, that mathematics teachers are trained in department of mathematics education, the quality of mathematics teacher which determines the quality of mathematics education, depends on how department of mathematics education is administered in teacher's college. Thus the curriculum for developing need quality and ability of the secondary school teachers of mathematics should be established, and it standard ought to be suited to the secondary school curriculum of mathematics. But there is a little difference between the curriculum of department of mathematics education in teacher's college and the curriculum of mathematics in secondary school. Conclusively, the curriculum as the Model of the curriculum in department of mathematics education ought to consist of two fields, that is, curriculum for liberal arts and curriculum for the special study. And then, the latter ought to be composed of the basic course of education, the course of mathematics education, the course of the content of mathematics, and the course of general major. The following table illustrates this idea.
