Spring-Mass 모델을 이용한 차대차 정면충돌 모델링
임재문,정근섭,Lim, Jaemoon,Jung, Geunseup 한국자동차안전학회 2015 자동차안전학회지 Vol.7 No.2
The objective of this study was to construct the spring-mass models for the car-to-car frontal impact crash. The SISAME software was utilized to extract the spring-mass models using the data from US-NCAP frontal crash tests. The spring-mass models of a compact car and a midsize car could effectively approximate the crash characteristics for the full frontal barrier impact and the car-to-car frontal impact scenarios. Compared to the barrier crash tests, the dummy injuries of midsize car decreased, while the dummy injuries of compact car increased, under the frontal car-to-car crash circumstances.

The objective of this study was to find the factors affecting the results of full frontal barrier impact test for the NCAP (New Car Assessment Program). To find the factors, the frontal NCAP test results of the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) were utilized. The three tested vehicle were same model year. It was observed the second peak value of barrier force affected the occupant injury risk. As the second peak value of the barrier force increases, the injury risk of the driver side occupant increases as well.

The objective of this study is to present the inspection standards of motorcycle brake system affecting motorcycle traffic accident. The inspection standards of motorcycle brake system recommended by CITA (International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee) are studied. The brake performance for preventing the traffic accident is assessed by the brake efficiency. Considering the KMVSS (Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) and the inspection standards of CITA, United Kingdom and Japan, the brake performance in the inspection standards of motorcycle is suggested. It is recommended that the efficiency of independent front and rear brakes are 40% and 27%, respectively. It is recommended that the efficiency of combined front and rear brakes is 50%.

A column for streetlamp has been damaged by severe wind loads such as typhoon. The stress concentration around the inspection hole may cause the collapse of the column for streetlamp. In this paper, the effects due to the wind load of 60 m/s and the car crash to the column at the speed of 48 km/h were considered to examine the design stability analysis of the column for streetlamp. The maximum von Mises stress did not exceed the yield stress of the material. Considering the car crash, the column for streetlamp was not collapsed.

This paper presents the motorcycle inspection standards development on the vehicle identification, engine and transmission, tyres and wheels, steering and suspension, and brake system. 187 real-world motorcycles are visually and mechanically inspected according to the developed inspection standards. The non-compliance rate of the vehicle identification is 20.3% and main causes are insecure, damaged, and not clearly visible number plate. The non-compliance rate of the brake system is 15.5% and main cause is failing to meet the brake performance requirements. The motorcycle inspections standards are improved reflecting 187 cases of real-world motorcycle inspection results.

The objective of this study is to present the inspection standards of motorcycle lamps affecting motorcycle traffic accident in night time. The inspection standards of motorcycle lamps recommended by CITA International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee are surveyed. Also, the domestic safety standards of motorcycle and inspection standards of passenger car are considered. The inspection standard and method with principal reasons of rejections of head-lamp, number plate lamp, front-rear position lights, stop lamp and direction indicators of motorcycles are suggested.

This paper presents the motorcycle inspection standards of electrical system, frame & body, lights and speedometers. 187 real-world motorcycles are visually and mechanically inspected according to the developed inspection standards. The non-compliance rate of inspection standards of the lights is 23.7% and main causes are damage, tinting, painting and coloration of head-lamp, number plate lamp, front-rear position lights, stop lamp and direction indicators of motorcycles. Also, 28.4% of motorcycles are dropped from the luminous intensity inspection standard. Motorcycle electrical system cannot be visually inspected. The motorcycle inspections standards are improved reflecting 187 cases of real-world motorcycle inspection results.
