현대적 의미의 페미니즘 여성의 특성을 알아보면 가부장적 제도의 구조적 모순을 인지하고 남성중심 문화에 도전하는데 있다. 페미니즘은 1970년을 전후로 생겼다. 미술의 설립이념에 대하여 거세게 항의하며 페미니즘 미술은 여성의 신체와 성적 사랑의 개념에 대한 새로운 논의를 형성하기 시작하였다. 예술적인 평가에 새로운 정의를 내린 페미니즘 미술로 여성이 사회의 핵심이 되고 광범위 하게 그들은 미국 안에서 성장하였다. 이 논문은 미국과 가부장적이고 남성중심사회인 한국에서 페미니즘 미술의 특성을 설문조사하였다. 본 연구에서는 미국의 페미니즘 예술가에 의해 그려진 작품의 특성을 분석할 수 있다. 이러한 작업은 1 세대와 2 세대의 여성성별에 따라 분류된다. 첫 번째 세대의 예술가는 루이스 부르주아, Miram Schapiro와 쥬디 시카고 이였다. 그 두 번째 세대는 신디 셔먼과 바바라 크루거가 있다. 한국의 페미니즘 미술은 1980 년 시작했다. 최근 들어 그 양과 질이 급속하게 발전하였다. 대중의 관심을 끈 한국여성 예술가로는 이불, 김난영, 김원숙, 윤석남과 김수자가 있다. 그들의 작품을 통하여, 이 논문은 feministic 요소를 분석한다. 그리고 조사 결과 미국과 한국에서 페미니즘 미술의 특징이 다르다. 이전의 문화운동이 발전하는 것은 문학, 예술, 종교, 매스 미디어와 저항 문화의 시작과 함께 도래 하였다. 후에 대중의 예술가운데 여성의 예술이 더 확장되었고 게시물의 다원주의의 물결 - 모더니즘과 페미니즘의 새로운 개념을 형성하기 시작했다. 미국의 페미니즘 미술의 일반적인 특성은 1980년에 바디 랭귀지에 이르기까지의 관심의 변화와 다양한 매스 미디어,남성주의의 수용과 수준 높은 예술의 비난을 볼 수 있다. 반면에, 한국 페미니즘 미술의 특별한 특징은 스타일과 형식에 상관없는 여성의 예술로서 사진, 언어, 전자 매체, 행위, 선호하는 멀티미디어와 다양한 미디어를 사용하여 시작했다. 미국의 일반적인 미디어 작품과 한국의 유화와 미국과 한국의 페미니즘 미술의 다양한 미디어를 수용하고 가치를 향상시키면 페미니즘 미술의 발전 가능성을 의미한다. 여성의 성을 해석에 따르면, 첫 번째 세대의 예술가들은 역사와 문화에 의해 형성된 움직이지 않는 것을 패미니즘 미술로 보았다. 그 동안 두 번째 세대는 사회적 상황에 따라 형성되어 움직이는 것을 페미니즘으로 간주하였다. 그 결과, 첫 번째 세대의 예술가들은 여성의 신체와 장식 성향의 이미지를 추구하였고 두 번째 세대의 예술가들은 비판과 검증 그리고 발달한 다양한 관점들을 통하여 여성 자신들이 움직이는 것을 보았다. 가부장의 세계에 대한 대응책으로서 미국, 한국, 필자에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 페미니즘 미술 또한 간단한 논리와 형태로 존재하지는 않지만, 여러 페미니즘은 우리의 삶에 포함 된다. 포스트 모더니즘을 보면, 발전 방향과 페미니즘 미술의 특성으로서 활동 할 수 있는 여러 측면을 찾을 수 있고, 이 논문은 페미니즘 여성 예술가들이 예술 세계에서 막대한 주력이 되는걸 보여준다. 그래서 포스트 모더니즘 다원주의와 여성 예술가의 활동과 일치한다. 이는 현대 미술의 차원을 향상시킬 수 있는 의미 있는 미디어가 될 것 이다. 그러므로, 우리는 한국문화와 역사를 기반으로 하는 독립적인 내용과 양식에 관한 연구를 신중한 자세로 임해야 한다. Feminism arts made a strong protest against the ideology of the established art began to form the new discussion about the women's body and the concept of sexual love. feminism arts which newly define of artistic valuation feminism which recognize the being of women as the social core and they widely developed in America. This thesis surveys the characteristics of feminism art in America and korea society which is patriarchal and androcentric. this study analyze the characteristics of works was painted by American feminism artists. these work are classified as the first generation and the second generation according to the translation of the feminine sex. the artists of the first generation are Louise Bourgeois, Miriam Schapiro and Judy Chicago. those of the second generation are Cindy Sherman and Babara Kruger. The feminism art of korea began in 1980. Recently it has made a rapid development in quality and quantity. Korean female artist who attract public attention are Lee bul, Kim nan yeong, Kim wonsuk, Yun seok nam and Kim su ja. Through their works, this thesis analyzes the feministic elements. and surveys the difference between the characteristics of feminism art of America and those of Korea. the former developed in the culture movement such as literature, art, religion, mass media and began with the advent of the resistance culture. the latter became more widely extended as female art among popular art and began to form new concept of feminism with the wave of pluralism of post-modernism. The general characteristics of American feminism art are the change of attention from body to language in 1980, the acceptance of the various mass media, androcenterism and the disapproval of high class art. On the other hand, The special features of korean feminism art began as female art among irrespective of the style and form by using the pictures, language, electronic media, performance, the preference of multimedia and the various media. The common work media of America and Korea are Oil painting, means that the feminism arts of America and Korea accept the various media and enhance the value and the possibility of feminism art. According to the translation of feminine sex, the artists of the first generation saw the feminism art as the immovable thing which is formed by history and culture. while those of the second generation regarded the feminism as the movable thing which is formed according to social situation. therefore, the artists of the first generation pursued the image of female body and decorative inclination, while the artists of the second generation saw women themselves as the movable thing through the criticism and verification and developed the various view. As the countermeasure about patriarchal world appear differently according to America, Korea, writers. the feminism art also doesn't exist in simple logic and form but include our life with plural feminism. In the situation of post-modernism, with the search of the development course and aspects of activity as the characteristics of feminism art, this thesis shows feminism made woman artists become the backbone of the huge of the art world. so the activity of women artists who correspond to the pluralism of post-modernism. will be the meaningful media which can enhance the dimension of the modern art. therefore, we must take a cautious attitude to accept the research about the independent content and form which are based on the history and culture of Korea.
