        한국산 (韓國産) 동자개과 어류의 분류학적 연구 - Ⅰ. 체격의 특징을 중심으로 -

        The family Bagridae living in major rivers of Korea was classified into two genera, Pseudobagrus and Leiocassis, based on the osteological characters of each species. The species of genus Pseudobagrus are P fulvidraco, Pseudobagrus sp. and P. brevicorpus and, genus Leiocassis, L. nitidus, L. ussuriensis and L. longirostris. Among them, Pseudobagrus sp. and P. brevicorpus are endemic species in Korea. The outstanding osteological differences between genera Pseudobagrus and Leiocassis are the breadth of supraethmoid, the teeth numbers of the premaxilla, prevomer and mandible, the position of anterior fontanelle, the shape of serrated structure of pectoral spine and the fused state of 3∼4 hypural. The characteristics of interspecific classification in genera Pseudobagrus and Leiocassis are the number of the anal fin ray, the number of the vertebrae, the number of the gill raker, the form of body and the shape of caudal fin. Pedteobagrus fulvidraco and Coreobagrus brevicorpus recorded previously in Korea were classified into genus Pseudobagrus, and Pelteobagrus nitidus and Pseudobagrus ussuriensis regarded previously in Korea also were transfered to genus Leiocassis owing mainly to the structure of skull and pectoral spine.

        미유기 Silurus microdorsalis ( Mori ) 의 골학적연구 (骨學的硏究)

        The osteological characters of Silurus microdorsalis were described and compaired with its related species, S. asotus. S. microdorsalis differ from S. asotus based on the sharp narrowness of ethmoid width, having cartilagenous rib in weverian apparatus and inside saw-teeth of pectoral spine, presence of distal radial cartilage of dorsal and pectoral fin and that of sphenotic process, 4 branched fin rays of pectoral, ventral and dorsal fin, 2 pterygiophore of dorsal fin, 7 rakers, 50-58 vertebrae, 12 branchiostegal rays and fin formulae.

        만경강 (萬頃江) 어류군집의 동태에 관한 연구

        This is the attempt to study the fishfauna and the growth of fishes effected by the differences of the water quality levels in whole Mangyeong River. With Jesumun, the upper stream of this investigated area is freshwater and the lower salt water mixed with freshwater, but the habitats of each other are quite different. As a result of this investigation, I affirmed that there are 40 species and 30 genuses, and 8 family in the area of freshwater. I also affirmed that there are 31 species and 25 genuses and 19 family in the area of blackish water. As station 1-4 are non-polluted areas without the source of pollution comparatively, there are very varied kinds of living fish. But in the station 5-6, I could investigate only 11 species because of being polluted by the waste sewage of Jeonju stream. There are a few kinds of fish, but judging from a great number of Carassius auratus, I know that only theses fishes have a strong resistance to pollution. But when we see that about 91% of total fish have black spots on the surface of their body, we can perceive that these fishes were severely polluted. In this freshwater area, dominant species are Zacco platypus and Carassius auratus, Zacco platypus are living in the non-polluted area(St. 1-4) comparatively, and Carassius auratus are living in the whole freshwater area(St, 1-6). In this water, Carassius auratus, based on the investigation of May, grow up 60-70mm during two or three months, 80-90mm during four or five. and 130-140mm during a year (St, 3). But the fishes that are living in the polluted area show about 20mm differences between four or five months. Mean while the growth of Zacco platypus, it grew up 60-70mm during a year, 90mm during two years, and 110mm during three years (St. 1.3). These fishes(St. 2) that are also living under the bad conditions of circumstances show about 10mm difference. Species of endemic in Korea that are living in this water (stream) occupy 38.9% as 14 species, In Mangyeong River that forms comparatively small stream, a great number of fishes are living but because of small species, the protection counterplan have to be considered.

        옥정호에 (玉井湖) 서식하는 어류에 대하여 (Ⅰ)

        This survey was attempt to investigate the fish fauna of Okjung Reservoir for four months from July to October, 1980. They are as follows. 1. As a result of this investigation, the authors affirmed that there are 39 species and 32 genera and 10 families in the upper area of Okjung Reservoir. 2. In this area, dominent species are Zacco platypus and Gnathopogon coreanus, also Acheilognathus yamatsutae and Cayassius auratus was living a great number of individual in this area comparatively. 3. There was more difference on the basis of reference that in post time an investigator was reported to characteristic of A. yamatsutae. 4. Endemic species in Korea that are living in this water occupy 31.4% as 11 species. But in future, the auther consider that a great number of species may be confirmed when we investigate in the all area.

        Synopsis of Dragonet Fish, Family Callionymidae (Pisces, Perciformes) form Korea

        1988년부터 1993년까지 우리나라의 연안에 서식하고 있는 돛양태과(科) 어류의 많은 표본을 대상으로 하여 각 종(種)들의 새로운 분류(分類) 검색표(檢索表)를 작성하고 이들의 분류학적(分類學的) 위치(位置)를 재검토(再檢討)하였다. 그 결과 한국산(韓國産) 돛양태과(科) 어류로는 모두 4속(屬) 14종(種)로 확인되었는데 민양태속(屬) Eleucherochir에는 민양태 E. mirabilis 1종(種)이, 꽁지양태속(屬) Calliurichthys에는 꽁치양태 C. japonicus, 1종(種), 도화양태속(屬) Synchiropus에는 도화양태 S. altivelis 1종(種)이, 돛양태속(屬) Repomucenus에 춤양태 R. huguenini, 동갈양태 R. curvicornis, 강주걱양태 R. olidus, 참주걱양태 R. sagitta, 흰점양태 R. leucopoecilus, 참돛양태 R. koreanus, 돛양태 R. lunatus, 실양태 R. valenciennei, 날돛양태 R. beniteguri, 꽃돛양태 R. ornatipinnis 그리고 Repomucenus sp. 등 11종(種)이다. 특히 Repomucenus sp.가 서해에서 확인되었는데 이것은 제1등지느러미의 가시 길이와 꼬리지느러미식, 등지느러미의 첫번째 연조길이와 마지막 연조길이 등의 특징에서 이와 유사종(類似種)과는 현저히 다르게 나타났다. 우리나라에서 지금까지 기재(記載) 보고(報告)되었던 종(種)중에서 Callionymus kitaharai와 C. doryssus는 동일종(同一種)으로서 R. huguenini의 synonym에 해당되었고, 그 외에도 C. flagiris는 R. valenciennei에, Callionymus richardsoni는 Repomucenus curvicornis에, Callionymus japonicus는 Calliurichthys japonicus에, Callionymus altivelis는 Synchiropus altivelis로, Draculo mirabilis는 Eleucherochir mirabilis로, Callionymus lunatus는 Repomucenus lunatus로 전속(轉屬) 또는 학명(學名) 기재(記載)가 정정(訂正)되었다. 우리나라에서 주로 남해(南海)에 많이 분포하고 있는 종(種)는 S. altivelis, Calliurichthys japonicus, Repomucenus lunatus, R. curvicornis, R. huguenini, R. valenciennei 등이고, 그 외 종(種)는 대부분 서해(西海)에 다량 분포(分布)하고 있었다. Fourteen species and four genera of the family Callionymidae from Korea were reviewed and provided a tentative the key to species and genera. The taxonomic position and scientific name of the family Callionymidae were recheked together with states of their distribution. Among them, two species Callionymus kitaharai and C. doryssus previously described by Chyung(1977), were found to be the same species under synonym of Repomucenus huguenini. On the other hand, two species Repomucenus leucopoecilus and Repomucenus sp. were newly added. Seven species, previously reported as the family Callionymidae from Korea, were transferred into another generic name or specific name Draculo mirabilis into Eleucherochir mirabilis, Callionymus joponicus into Callurichthys japonics, Callionymus altivelis into Synchiropus altivelis, Callionymus kitaharai into Repomucenus huguenini, Callionymus richardsoni into Repomucenus curvicornis, Callionymus lunatus into Repomucenus lunatus, Callionymus flagris into Repomucenus oalenciennei. The species of Calliurichthys japonicus, Repomucenus lunatus, Repomucenus curvicornis, Repomucenus huguenini, Repomucenus ualenciennei and Synchiropus altivelis were mainly distributed in the South Sea, while the other species of the family were mainly distributed in the Yellow Sea of Korea.

        한국산 중고기 Sarcocheilichthys 속 ( Cyprinidae , Pisces ) 의 분류학적 재검토

        The classification of Cyprinid genus Sarcocheilichthys in Korea is reviewed and following two species or two subspecies are discussed in their morphology and distribution: Sarcocheilichthys nigripinnis morii, S. nigripinnis czerskii, and S. variegatus wakiyae, S. czerskii BERG and S. morii JORDAN and HUBBS are seperated into two different subspecies of S. nigripinnis as Banarescu and Nalbant classified in 1973. And S. wakiyae is also regarded as a synonym of S. variegatus in Japan on the basis of a blackish bar on the dorsal fin, but the present specimens studied were seperated as distinct subspecies by the difference of the number of lateral line scales. S. nigripinnis morii is syntopic with S. variegatus wakiyae in the several rivers in the southern part of Korea.

        한국산 (韓國産) Culter 속과 (屬) Erythroculter 속 어류에 관하여

        Culter brevicauda and Erythroculter erythropterus were reviewed in taxonomy as well as their distribution through the investigation of the available specimens collected in Korea. Culter brevieauda has unscaled abdominal keel from the pectoral to the anal fin, but Erythroculter erythropterus has exactly covered with scales between pectoral and ventral fin without the abdominal keel. C. brevicauda inhabited in the reservoirs around Ok-ku of Chonllabukdo Province, Jangsong reservoir in Chonllanam-do Province and Nagdong river, and E. erythropterus distributed along the Imjin, the Han and the Keum rivers.

        한국산 (韓國産) 살치속 ( Genus Hemiculter ) 어류 2종의 학명과 (學名) 동정 (同定)

        Cultriculus kneri and C. eigenmanni previously described as genus Cultriculus were the junior synonym of Hemiculter leucisculus(Basilewsky) and H. eigenmanni (Jordan et Metz) respectively. Differences in the number of lateral line scales and gill rakers further distinguish these two species of the genus Hemiculter. Hemiculter leucisculus has distributed in the two rivers of the Han and the Imjin, and their around reservoirs, and H. eigenmanni has inhabited widely in the middle and lower courses of the Anso^˘ng-river (include the Suwon) , the Ku^˘ m, the Man` gyo^˘ng, the So^˘mjin, the Yo^˘ngsan rivers and their around reservoirs.
