Recently, energy-saving technology is rapidly becoming a crucial issue for mankind due to the depletion of natural resources. From this perspective, every automobile manufactures are trying to develop light materials and to validate safety with environmental consideration. In this study, we developed clutch connector tube which is the parts of power transferring clutch with light materials to substitude for existing general steel materials. We also verified that the general steel materials can be replaced with nylon, fiberglass, stainless and plastic materials or not. As a result, we verified that the mixture of glass and nylon composite material can substitude the general steel.

Today's automobiles are changing into miniaturization and light weight for saving natural resources and energies. In order to raise the sufficiency of fuel consumption, new mechanism and components are required. Therefore, the expectations on the new materials are very high. Especially, Al materials are widely used to reduce the motors weight. Al using in automobiles is mostly casting material, and the material is developing rapidly in step with technical innovation. Al die casting has become an important field, as we are turning today's motor into light weight. One of the parts in steering system, valve housing, plays a role to reduce the operating effort of drivers. If valve housing being a part of steering system is produced by gravity casting, the space that manufacturing equipments are installed will be increased, and more energies and workers will be needed

As the products such as HDD, Notebook, PDA, and Mobile Phone become smaller and thinner, the radius of threads as well as holes for assembling those products become smaller, even down to 1mm. To produce such small holes and thread efficiently, multi tapping is highly necessitated. However the multi tapping characteristics is not well known because its complicated cutting mechanism and thus the quality of the produced holes and threads is not well studied yet. In this paper, experiments have been conducted for small-radius threads using M2 and M2.6 and M3 cold forming tap to investigate multi tapping process using several useful signal such as torque and Z-axis encoder pulse. Special quality of automobile CMC(clutch master cylinder) and analyzed aluminum, plastic material comparison. Efficiency of plastic master cylinder can modularize higher, light weight anger of parts, several piece parts by single parts, prove NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) than aluminum master cylinder as analysis result. Also, structure is easy simplicity, exchange, maintenance costs can be reduced and decrease environmental pollution because recycling is superior. According as content of glass fiber increases, mechanical properties of matter of material increase equally and glass fiber changed variously by condition on manufacturing process. Through comparison analysis with Plastic Body development connection site, did verification.

Most of the fatigue fractures of various machine structures start at discontinuities or small defects. In this study property of crack growth of titanium alloy was also analyzed to investigate the difference compared with the carbon steel. Titanium alloy has very high specific strength, and the material is widely utilized in advanced engineering fields such as aerospace, atomic energy and ocean development because of its excellence in corrosion and heat resistance. Generally the machine structures experience irregular loadings rather than periodic forces. The prediction of the fatigue life therefore has been analyzed to provide fundamentals of the design and estimation of the machine structures under irregular loading conditions.

The demand for the precision rubber products has been rapidly increasing with the recent growth of industries. And the requirement for the productivity and the quality calls out for the injection molding machines with the precision machining ability as well as the high productivity. Especially modern automobile industry is in urgent need of developing injection molding machines for the high quality rubber products with high productivity. And the inability of the domestic companies to meet the standards causes importing foreign machines and as a result spending good amount of dollars. It is extremely important to develop competitive machines and strengthen the infrastructure of the related industries. In this paper the functions and the structure of a automatic multi-nozzle injection molding machine has been studied to set up a proper test system for the precision rate and the reliability of the machines, which can help build the machines to meet the request of the industry.

Prediction of fatigue duration is attainable from the analysis of the growth rate of the fatigue crack, and the property of the fatigue crack growth is determined by the calculation of the stress intensity factor. And the evaluation of the stress intensity factor, K comes from the stress analysis of the vicinity of crack tip of the continuum. This study describes a simple method to decide the stress intensity factor for the small crack at the sharp edge notches. The proposed method is based on the similarities between elastic stress fields of the notch tip described by two parameters, the stress concentration factor K, the radius of arc of the notch . And it is applicable to the analysis of the semi-elliptical penetration cracks and the edge notches.
