In order to the development of a new organic composr to exclusive use in a ginseng, we conducred the study of the prepararion of organic fertilizer and the application effecr of organic ferrilizer in cultivation of ginseng. The new organic compost was composed of dryed broad leaves of acorn 40%, puffed husks of rice 40% and organic material mixrure 20%. The chemical properries of the organic compost shown that the values of the roral nitrogen, available phosphate, pottasium,calcium, magnesium, organic matter and C1N ratio were 17 g kg.l, 8 g kg l, 11 g kg l, 14 g kt, 4 g kg'l, 794 g kg.l, and 26.7, respectivly. The application effect of organic compost in the cuJrivation of ginseng shown thar survival rario of above ground plant of ginseng was shown the high value than conaol, and the ratio of toOt ror and red colored root were decreased. The optimal amount of organic ferrilizer for ginseng seedling was 24 M/T ha.l. The chemical properries of the ferilized soil were analyzed.
