        The Waves of globalization and localization have influenced significantly on local goverments' role and Korean tourism policy. Local Governments become the important actor in the field of Tourism Information System Planning. Especially, the advent of local autonomy era has strengthened the role of local governments confronting strong competition and informationization. In the era of local autonomy, local governments seek for the possibilities and applications of informationization as a tool for regional economic development and local internationalization. Korean local governments, however, have little experiences and knowledges of Tourism Information System Planning. So it is impossible for local governments to approach to Tourism Information System Planning systematically. In this sense, the study was conducted and attemped to construct the Tourism Information System for guiding local governments to perform informationization.

        Measuring the development stages and issues of Tourism Information Systems activity is a difficult task. It has been shown that there are sixth information development stages which have positive influence on perceived utility of tourism information systems. The Waves of informationization have influenced significantly on Tourism Industly' role and Korean tourism policy. Tourism Companies become the important actor in the field of Tourism Information Systems. Subsequently, We have investigated the antecedents of these sixth tourism information systems development stages. Nowadays Tourism Companies confronting strong competition and informationization. In this era, Tourism Companies seek for the possibilities and applications of informationization as a tool for successful use of computer-based information systems(CBIS). The principal findings showed that chief sixth development stages of tourism information systems and issues in computerization leads to more successful tourism information systems use in Tourism Company.

      • 외식기업 웹사이트의 합리적 비평체계에 관한 고찰 : Family Restaurant을 중심으로

        To identify the user's evaluation manner after experiencing Family Restaurant Web sites, two phases has been processed in this article - developing evaluation model and identifying evaluation adjectives. Developing an evaluation model requires skeptical perspective changes form software evaluation viewpoint, where Web site has been treated as just functional tool. However, current issues in Web design demand aesthetics and communication theory as much as software usability and functionality. A evaluation model has been set up reviewing several related literature. To clarify this evaluation model and evaluation adjectives, a semantic differential method experiment has been exposed to 10 Hanyang University students in Seoul and 10 other university students in Seoul. In the experiment six different company websites has been reviewed by those students. Those six company sites are restricted to family restaurant, such as Sizzler, Marche, Outback Steakhouse, Tonyromas, T.G.I.F and Chilis to limit user experiences during Web-surfin. As a result, six categories were suggested as a evaluation factors, and out of six categories of adjectives exposed in this experiment, one category that represent current trends was reported as unstable. It was suggested that adjectives in that category need to be stabilized for further evaluation.

Evaluating Web Sites requires skeptical perspective changes form software evaluation viewpoint, where Web site has been treated as just functional tool. However, current issues in Web site demand aesthetics and communication theory as much as software usability and functionality. In the experiment five different Hotel Web sites has been reviewed by users. As a result, seven categories were suggested as a evaluation factors, and out of seven categories of standard exposed in this experiment. It was suggested that standards in that category need to be stabilized for further evaluation.

      • 여행기업의 정보화투자평가에 대한 실증적 연구

        Korean travel enterprise are supporting a knowledge business including management and mind decision after they made in epoch-making event in data processing and making informational practical use of a information system based on a computer and communication. According to this charge, although a role and importance or information technology are being emphasized because of the increase in the productivity and efficiency of travel enterprise. I tried to show the alternative for efficient management of information system travel enterprise through the study about it. Because, a top executive's opinion on the field of information at travel enterprise has never been investigated exactly till now. How should we do to enhance such a investment value of informationization at a travel enterprise? As you see the analysized result through survey research before, a top executive's consciousness of a travel enterprise about the investment of informationization must be reformed first. And I suggest the following three alternatives additionally. First, making clear the investment of informationization for business reform third development of various treatment methods about the danger of investment and uncertainty. This research was made to establish a opportunity for entering competitive travel enterprise in the for entering competitive travel enterprise in the future, after inspecting opinions of top executive in korean travel enterprise about informationization investment. But the study has a limit which has not a first time employee's opinion on the spot. Therefore, I expect that the study of various methodology which is able to eliminate a first time employee's opinion survey and danger or uncertainty of travel enterprise about informationization investment will be made through later one.
