Recently, the political tension between Japan and its neighbors such as China and South Korea has been dramatically escalated over historical and territorial issues, primarily due to Abe administration's extreme right position and policy. What is intersting is that the United States welcomed Japan's effort toward the right of collective self defense October 2013. Why did the US support Japan's attempt for militarization, whoch is objected by most of its neighbors? To answer this question, this paper explores the factors that helped the US approve the Japan's effort by examining the reality of China's rise and the Obama administrations' foreign policy toward China and East Asia, with reference to offensive realism developed by Mearsheimer. 최근 동아시아에서는 남북한 간의 긴장관계 못지않게 일본과 한국, 중국 등 주변국들간의 긴장 또한 증가하고 있는데 이는 아베 정권 출범 후 일본이 보여온 보수․우경화에 크게 기인하고 있다. 이렇게 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 동아시아 외교․안보 환경 속에서 갑작스럽게 미국은 지난 해 2013년 10월에 일본의 집단적 자위권 행사를 포함한 아베 정권의 방위력 강화 구상을 환영하고 지지한다는 공식적인 입장을 밝혔다. 그렇다면 왜 미국은 대부부분의 관련국들이 반대하고 일본이 주변국과의 대외관계가 악화되어가는 현 시점에서 일본의 집단적 자위권 행사를 지지하게 되었을까? 이 질문에 답하기 위해 본 논문은 미어샤이머가 주장한 공격적 현실주의를 이론적 분석틀로 택하고, 최근 부상하고 있는 중국의 현실과 이에 대응하는 미국 오바마 행정부의 대외정책 기조와 동아시아 및 對중국정책을 살펴봄으로써 미국의 일본 집단적 자위권 지지 요인에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

The Purpose of this article is to analize the objects of Education of Korean History in high school. The results of my study are as fellows. 1.The objects of Education of Korean History is classified in Comprehension, ability and value. And ability-object is to cultivate the obility of problem-solving, reasoning and inquisition. 2.In order to characterize and reform the Education Of Korean History, the strengthening of ability-object is needed. 3.The ability-object is emphasized on the Education of Korean History, but not properly weighted on each subjects. 4.For the reform of Education of Korean History, the ability-objects of each subjects must be emphasized.
「慶尙道地理志」山城 邑城條의 一硏究 : 內廣의 結負表記를 中心으로 Chiefly about the Recording of the Area of Castles

The Regional Geography of Kyung-sang Do was published in 1425. In it's recording about castles, it had keep record the area of castles, and the records about the area of castles are never seen before or since in other geography book of Yi Dynasty. The unit of the area of castles in Regional Geography of Kyung-sang Do is Kyul Bu. In this treatise, by comparing the area of castles with the length of rampart, the present writer concluded that the area of one Kyul in the Regional Geography of Kyung-sang Do is about 1,155 ∼ 2,145 ㎡. The Kyul like this is never seen in the other historical materials or study about Kyul Bu System. Therefore we can conclude that Kyul Bu System in the Regional Geography of Kyung-sang Do is the other sort of Kyul Bu System, and it was used until early Yi-Dynasty. But to know the origin of this Kyul Bu System is impossible.
高等學校「국사」敎科書 改定의 方向에 대하여 : Focused on the Ancient History 古代史 부분을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to find out the problems of High School Textbook, 'History of Korea', and to suggest the it's direction of the revision. The results of this study are as follows. 1.There are some footnotes in High School Textbook, 'History of Korea'. But many of footnotes are mere explanation of text. To furnish more datum of study to students, footnotes should be enriched in quality and quantity. 2.In the suggestion of photograph, map, picture and illustration, detailed explanations must be added. 3.The more historical materials should be furnished for datum of researching study.
