        독일의 자연화장품(Naturkosmetik) 시장 및 인증시스템에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the thesis is to make a systematic investigation on natural cosmetic (Naturkosmetik) of Germany. Specifically, growth background, regulation and attributes, certification system and market status of the natural cosmetic were investigated. The natural cosmetic refers to the cosmetic that were made not from chemicals but from natural materials and ought to be certified by BDIH. To be recognized as natural cosmetic, certified materials only e.g. spice, color, emulsifying agent and antiseptic in addition to natural matters should be used and also should be contained in environment-friendly vessels. Therefore, the natural cosmetic passed test is to be called certified natural cosmetic (kontrollierte Kosmetik) and has an implication that it secures stability and environment-friendliness in particular. Because of strict regulation system, the market for German natural cosmetic is not that big and being dominated by a small number of specialized corporations. Proactive role of the German authorities, consumer’s high level of consciousnessand autonomous regulation of concerned industry were assessed to have resulted in settlement of the certification system of natural cosmetic. Such cases in Germany can be said to become a good model for Korea market of natural cosmetic to settle and grow in future.       • 피부미용분야 사회봉사 활동에 관한 고찰

        Together with economic development, interest groups frequently raise their voices and conflicts increase. They have negative sides, but it may be interpreted that the society is healthy as long as communication, negotiation, fair principle and law enforcement are realized. While society changes like this, the number, participation degree and contents of nonprofit citizen organizations are various and active. Among them, social service activities are remarkable in each field. Of course, college participation in social service is generalized. It is evaluated that colleges' social service has a potential to play an important role in Korea in present and future. This is related with quantitative and qualitative increase of colleges. For example, there are colleges, the number of students and diversification of departments. The meaning of social service is very important in that college students contribute to society as well as the future of country as an organization with a high level of educations in professional and various fields. However, colleges' participations in social service have been so far limited to physical labor. Of course, there is medical service activities of medical students, but they are only simple social participation and do not make the most of departments' characteristics. Consequently, for an aging era and both extremities era in process and to come in future, it is obvious that social service activities should be continuously and professionally done related with majors. That is, speedy changes and development of society and economy cause to alienated classes and groups from economy, and the country cannot establish a completely social safety net for such alienated classes any more in fact. Regarding this, this paper intends to study professional social service of colleges associated with skin care. In other words, this intends to discuss why social service activities of colleges associated with skin care are needed and what concretely practical models are. This critical mind is on the assumption that they are not associated with specific phases of colleges in contents. Concrete study methods of this paper is that existing theoretical achievement is descriptively considered and practical contents of social service activities of skin care department are addressed through empirical participation and observation as a practical plan. Therefore, the text is classified in theory and practical contents in broad. First, the second chapter intends to describe meaning, practical plan, desirable direction and theoretical models of activities associated with majors as desirable social service of colleges. Based on this, the third chapter intends to address concrete service models associated with majors. In particular, this paper is to present practical models based on skin care department which has radically increased as a practical learning field. That is, it is to grope for desirable direction associated with specialty, practicality and service of skin care department. As concrete contents, this paper intends to arrange skin care, hair and hand and foot care and to describe the characteristics. Finally, it is to discuss specific examples of skin care field in process. In addition, I hope that this paper will be helpful to arrange a new social service model in order to connect special fields of colleges to social service and to contribute to the societies and members.

      • Ultrasonic이 Acne treatment에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This study was designed to find new areas and effective ways to heal acne by the utilization of cosmetics and medical implements respectively, unlike the existing therapy concentrated on cosmetics. The gathered data was analyzed by using SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) V. 10. With this, this researcher put into practice Paired-samples t-test with the aim to verify the difference between the experienced group by Peeling & Ultrasonic treatment and the experienced group by only Peeling treatment. This experiment was performed statistically with 5 percent of significance level. On the basis of the above purpose, the findings of this study were as follows : 1. From the fact-revealing of intergroup difference regarding Scrub Peeling and Ultrasonic therapy in experiment group Ⅰ, the experienced group by Peeling & Uotrasonic treatment was more affirmative at the aspect of therapeutic effect in comparison with the experienced group by only Peeling treatment. 2. From the fact-revealing of intergroup difference regarding Enzyme Peeling and Ultrasonic Ktherapy in experiments group Ⅱ, the experienced group by Enzyme Peeling & Ultrasonic therapy was more affirmative at the aspect of therapeutic effect in comparison with the experienced group by only Enzyme Peeling treatment. As stated above, it is expected that the results of this study will be able to contribute to consumers' selection of cosmetics adequate to acne therapy and the maintenance of good skin. On the other hand, acne disease needs particular medical-treatment according to its progressive symptoms.

        독일 남성화장품 시장구조 및 특성에 관한 연구

        This study tried to make a systematic analysis about men’s cosmetics market in Germany, given the interest in men’s cosmetics that is rapidly growing abroad as well as in Korea lately. Specifically, the status and the market structure of the men’s cosmetics market were analyzed and at the same time the characteristics of the men’s cosmetics market in Germany were investigated. According to the result of the analysis, the men’s cosmetics market in Germany started to grow from 1990’s and reached the sales amount of about 900 million Euros per year lately. The men’s cosmetics market has the structure of four segments such as perfume, base cosmetics, aftershave and shaving products. Among them, the perfume market is the biggest in terms of sales, being followed by aftershave, shaving products and base cosmetics in order. However, the market for shaving products relatively showed stagnation or decrease whereas the growth of perfume and base cosmetics market continued. As for the main characteristics of the men’s cosmetics market in Germany, the market is strongly dominated by a few products and has the double market structure with popular products and high-end cosmetics. The major consumers are from the middle and prime aged of above the 30’s. Occasionally, the brand associated with sports fashion dominates. It is difficult for a new product to enter a market since product loyalty is too high. 본 연구에서는 최근 국내‧외에서 급성장하고 있는 남성화장품에 대한 관심을 배경으로 독일 남성화장품 시장에 대한 체계적인 분석을 시도하였다. 구체적으로는 남성화장품 시장의 현황 및 시장구조에 대한 분석과 동시에 독일 남성화장품 시장의 특성에 관한 고찰을 중심으로 하였다. 분석결과 독일 남성화장품 시장은 1990년대부터 성장하기 시작하여 연간 약 9억 유로에 달하는 규모로 성장하였다. 남성화장품 시장은 향수, 기초화장품, 애프터셰이브, 면도용품 등 네가지 영역으로 세분화되어 있는 구조로 구성되어 있는데, 이 중에서 향수시장의 매출규모가 가장 크고, 애프터셰이브, 면도용품, 기초화장품 순으로 이루어져 있다. 그리고 향수와 기초화장품 시장의 성장세가 지속되고 있는 반면에 애프터셰이브, 면도용품 시장은 상대적으로 정체 혹은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 독일 남성 화장품 시장의 주요특성으로는 소수 제품에 의한 시장 집중이 높고, 대중적 제품과 고급화장품으로 이원화된 시장구조를 형성하고 있다. 또 30대 이상 중장년층이 주요 소비자이고, 스포츠 패션 유행과 연계된 브랜드가 지배하는가 하면, 제품충성도가 높아 신규상품의 시장진입이 어려운 특성을 지닌다. 앞으로 남성화장품에 대한 수요는 국내‧외에서 지속적으로 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 유럽의 최대시장이자 오래전부터 남성화장품 시장이 발달된 독일사례는 국내시장은 물론, 중국 등 해외시장의 개척을 위해서도 중요한 연구라고 평가된다.

      • 여대생의 각 체중군별 비만 관리 태도 조사

        The purpose of this study was to examine Attitude toward weight control in female college students of obese group. In case of young women, they think that they must keep extremely slight build to be a beautiful women, but this can cause to fall off in quality of eating habits. When we keep having an unbalanced diet by each food preference, we can have a serious problem like an(a)emia or fatness. Among under weight groups, they think they have a normal weight (9.9%) or even think a little fat(3.9%) even though having a slight build. In case of Normal Weight group, 31.1%c people think that they have a normal weight, 17.3 % people think that they are very fat. But in case of over weight group, only 6.1% people think that they are very fat. That is to say, this mistaken recognition of personal figure can low the quality of eating habits and have people follow the weight control(p<0.001). This problem is the main cause of the deterioration of the condition of skin. In case of under weight group, 67.6% people say that they have never tried weight control. Concerning normal weight group, about 50% people have an experience of weight control. In case of over weight group. 75.6% people say that they have an experience of weight control. What makes people control their weight? In case of under weight group, shows that the firsts for charming shape(58.8%), the second is for health(23.5%). In case of normal weight group, the most number of people say that they control the weight for charming shape(49.6%), others say that they do that for becoming thin(26.8%). Over weight group, it shows that to lose weight is the first purpose(39.1%), to have a charming shape is the second purpose (31.7%) and to have a self-confidence is the last one(22.0%). In case that they reduced weights by exercising, 26.6% answered my skin conditions are improved, and 23.4% answered that they were not doing exercise. Under calory-control, ‘tough skin’, ‘dark skin’ were shown highly to 10.9% order, and it was statistically meaningful (p<0.001). In other words, eating habits influenced not only skin conditions but also obesity as general health conditions. Amounts to this that people have under weight usually have an interest in charming shape and people have over weight is for the purpose of losing weight and becoming thin when they control their weight. Therefore, all social members should be educated in the direction of correct eating habits and weight-control, on the basis of exact cognition of their own bodies.

      • 아로마테라피를 이용한 셀룰라이트관리에 관한 연구

        This study introduces the method and clinical demonstration in order to efficiently manage Cellulite which has been a cosmetical problems for females by using products including aroma ingredients extracted from various plants. This study focuses on skin and health care and effective management for females at skin care shops. In part Ⅰ, the purpose of the study, contents and the research methods were written. In part Ⅱ, the operational principles of aroma oil and its effects on skins were written on the basis of the history of anmoatheraphy. In part Ⅲ, the causes and symptoms of Cellulite were analysed and management steps using aroma products were suggested. Also, the ingredients and the characteristics of each product were compared and classified on the basis of the operational principles of aroma oil and its effects on the skin care. Wickel products in Germany and Les Armas in Italy were used in this study for the systematic reasons both in theory and clinics. The data was collected from 20 females at a skin care shop in Daerim-dong who were specially managed twice a week for two months. Import results of the study is as follows : first point is that long and constant management can improve symptoms of Cellulite by the use of aroma products inclusive of the aroma oil. Second, the effect of Cellulite management is tend to add to the years in converse order. And it was identified that Cellulite management by the use of aromatherapy is effective for diet and skin elasticity.

        활성산소종(Reactive Oxygen Species)으로 유도된 인간진피섬유아세포손상에 대한 루틴(Rutin)의 항산화 효과

        The reason why Reactive oxygen species (ROS) generate in a cell is harmful substances from exteriorcell. In the human body, most of the free radicals disappear by creating an oxidation inhibitor. But oxidativestress is induced when ROS can not be removed by former defenser. Oxidative stress causes DNAdenaturation, destruction of the cell membrane, Hardening of the arteries and cellular senescence, directlyor indirectly. Rutin, glycosides of quercetin, is the flavonoid-based compound which is widely distributedin the plant kingdom. Rutin was shown to strengthen capillaries and capillary action contraction is used asthe main component of the circulatory disease treatment and hypertension. In this study, we demonstratedthat pretreatment of rutin protects human dermal fibroblasts (NHDFs) from the oxidative stress. Additionalbiochemical assay showed that rutin has ROS scavenging effect and furthermore, alters mRNA expressionof SOD1 and CAT in NHDFs. Our results indicate that rutin is implicated as a potential biochemical orchemopreventive agent through phenomenas from oxidative stress in NHDFs.

        유럽 유기농화장품 규제에 관한 고찰

        This article focused to understand about regulations of organic cosmetics in Europe, especially aboutinternationally recognized certification COSMOS-standard. Organic cosmetics in Europe is based onestablishing human health as well as ‘sustainable development’ with ‘green philosophy’ or ‘green chemistry’. In Europe, there are no official regulations governing organic cosmetics, but a number of private initiativessuch as Ecocert (France), BDIH (Germany), Soil Association (England) etc. COSMOS is an alliance of thesefive organizations, and COSMOS-standard was created as a common transnational certification guidelinein June 2010. According to COSMOS-standard, it needs to be certified not only ingredients, manufacturing,products, but also environmental management for organic and natural cosmetics. It is set up so in Europe threeregulation system for organic cosmetics, common philosophy, allianced organization and unified certificationstandard. This european model is very important in future for the formulation of organic cosmetics’ regulationsystem in Korea.
