In this study, the Engine characteristics to be improved with automization of the intake fuel by the use of ultrasonic were expected in the gasoline - methanol engine. The performances of the torque and the CO gas by the use of ultrasonic were compared with those of normal operating condition with the variation of the addition-rate of methanol, ignition timing, throttle valve opening and engine speed. The conclusions of this experimental study are as fellows. 1)The torque of engine is expressed most value at M10(10%) of fuel, 2000 rpm of revolution speed of the engine, 3/4(0.75) of throttle valve opening, BTDC 30˚ of ignition timing, and improved using the ultrasonic. 2) The CO gas decreased higher mixture rate of methanol, lower revolution speed of engine, and indicated the decreased effectiveness using the ultrasonic.
