        Until now, studies on the texts of the TOPIK in Korean studies were extremely rare. This paper points out the ambiguities in the test instructions in the current TOPIK, analyzes the texts for the improvement of text substantiality, and proposes ways of improvement in text structure, degree of authenticity, type of texts, and the methods of presenting information. The Analysis reveals that in terms of the form of text structure, descriptive sentence types appear most frequently, and these texts have the highest degree of authenticity. On the other hand, in terms of content of text, texts of information presentation appear most frequently, and they have two distinctive manners of knowledge presentation; knowledge implication type and material content type. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the test, this paper suggests that TOPIKⅡ should use text structure such as story telling language material or non-verbal material including pictures and graphics more. It would increase the authenticity in writing and reading sections as well as the number of texts for emotional expression, and utilize flexible manners of information presentation

        문법 수행의 재개념화와 평가 내용 선정을 위한 교육적 방향 탐색

        본 연구는 ‘문법 수행’을 재개념화하여 문법 능력 평가의 구인을 제시하고 이를 통해 문법 능력 평가의 내용을 선정하는 방향을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 선행연구를 고찰하여 문법 능력이 ‘문법 수행’을 통해 발현되는 것으로 보고 이를 재개념화하였다. 또 문법 능력 평가의 구인을 학습자의 인지적 영역의 수행 수준에 따라 ‘기억, 활용, 발견’으로 제시하였다. 그리고 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 구(舊) 평가틀과 신(新) 평가틀을 비판적으로 검토하고 학습자를 고려하여 문법 능력 평가의 내용을 선정하는 방향에 대해 문법 수행을 중심으로 제안하였다. 본 연구는 평가의 상황에서 주체가 되는 학습자에 주목하여 문법 평가의 내용 선정에 대한 논의를 진행한 데 의의가 있지만, 방향성 제안에 머물렀기에 이를 실제로 적용해 보는 후속 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to reconceptualize 'grammar performance', to present the constructs of grammar ability evaluation, and to suggest a direction for selecting the content of grammar ability evaluation. First, by examining previous studies, the study found that grammar ability is expressed through 'grammar performance' and reconceptualized it, and the construct of grammar ability evaluation was presented as 'Remember, Use, Find' according to performance level of a learner's cognitive domain. In addition, by critically reviewing the old and new evaluation frameworks of National Korean Language Achievement Assessment, a direction for selecting the content of grammar ability evaluation considering learners was proposed with a focus on grammar performance. Although this study is meaningful in that it discusses the content selection of grammar evaluation by focusing on learners, it has limitations as it only suggests a direction. Therefore, follow-up research that actually applies this is needed.

        교사학습공동체 활동을 통한 가정과 교사의 성찰적 실천에 대한 실행연구

        The purpose of this research is to apprehend what the power of professional learning community (PLC) to make home economics teachers participate is and how PLC activity contributes to reflective practice and change of participating home economics teachers by experiencing reflective practices. For this, self-reflective action research of Kemmis and McTaggart was conducted. Six home economics teachers participated voluntarily and totally 18 PLC sessions from May 31, 2013 to May 19, 2014 were held. Two themes of ‘looking in classes’ as a main practice theme and ‘designing classes together’ as a supporting theme were carried. Findings and conclusions of this study are as following. First, participants of PLC to get data and information on teaching and to solve problems with fellow teachers for better classes at first. However, they have become to comfort and sympathize each other about difficulties in school as home economics teachers. Second, through the PLC activity, they found they had uncomfortable belief about teaching and tried to practice solutions by critical and reflective thinking. Third, they put efforts in finding alternative framework of looking inside their classes for the fundamental improvement in teaching. For this, they formulated questionnaire to describe their own reflective practice through the alternative framework from a critical perspective in teaching, a view of student’s learning, and a teacher’s inner view for improvement of practice. Fourth, PLC activity for a year allowed them to combine theory and reality though reflective process by designing classes together and reflectively practicing them in classes.

        한글 맞춤법 조항에 대한 몇 가지 쟁점-전문가의 의식 조사를 바탕으로-

        The purpose of this study it to investigate some issues arising from certain spelling conventions in Korean, using a survey of experts`` consciousness of these conventions as a foundation. The group of experts used in the study was composed of Korean linguists, journalists, publishers, teachers, and Korean language policy experts. The Delphi method was used in two different rounds. Fifty-three experts participated in the first round (Delphi I) and fifty-two participated in the second round (Delphi II). Delphi I consisted of a series of structured open-ended questions, while Delphi II consisted of twenty multiple choice questions. The results showed the experts`` opinions regarding the revision of the spelling conventions for [s](``ㅅ``) epenthesis, word spacing, and the adverbial derivational suffixes ``-i’, and ‘-hi’. Experts agree with the abolition or reduction of [s](``ㅅ``) epenthesis, and further agree that the adverbial derivational suffixes ``-i’ and ‘-hi’ should follow spelling rather than pronunciation rules. However, although the experts were in agreement regarding the revision of word spacing, they were not able to agree on a specific method. This study can be used as a basis in revising Korean orthography.
