To evaluate environmental wind Conditions around the high-rise buildings with criteria for environmental wind conditions, the Wind Tunnel Tests were done in the Go¨tingen type Wind Tunnel(Test Section 3 X 2 X 20( m)). The scaled model(1/400) was made of wood, and compressed the area around the KOEX Complex within a radius of 400m. I measured with and without the KOEX building whose height is over 100m. A velocity of 54 points was measured. The results of Wind Tunnel Tests were evaluated by means of the methods of Murakami, Lawson and Yoshida, who are well-known researchers in this area. I used the wind data of Seoul reorganized by a Weibull Distribution. The three results of evaluations based on E'r-obability Distribution are most similar. The wind enviroment around the high-rise building was worse than without a high-rise building. The wind conditions of the west side of the site were worse than others because the main direction of the wind was from the west(W).

High—rise s provide much areas and convenient services, because of vertical move system s. But wind environment around highrise is worse than lowrise. In Korea also increase the number of highrise. So we must be interested in the our method which is adopted to wind environmental test. In the world there are some criteria for environmental wind condi-tions, Davenport, Penwarden, Melbourne, Lawson, Murakami. T h e y used the exceeded probability distribution or Beaufort scale. There are some cases which tested the wind tunnel test for the environmental wind con 一ditions in Korea. The data put in order in this paper.
