The combustion system with diluted air-fuel mixtures has high-efficiency and exhausts low amount of harmful emissions compared to normal combustion system which uses stoichiometric mixtures. The purpose of this study is, before the upcoming research about reducing harmful emission, to investigate combustion stability, lean misfire limit through COVIMEP and thermal efficiency by the combustion system using ambient air and EGR dilution. In order to expand lean misfire limit, synthetic gas(syngas) which is in general prepared from reforming gasoline was utilized. The major components of syngas are H₂, CO and N₂ gases. The percentage of syngas addition was changed from 0 to 30% in energy fraction, air excess ratio(λ) was changed from 1 to 1.8 and EGR rate was varied up to 30%. As a result, with the increase of syngas addition, combustion stability was improved. And lean misfire limit was expanded to A=1.8, EGR rate=28% when syngas fraction is 30%. Thermal efficiency was improved in high dilution area(λ=1.6, EGR=23%), the case using ambient air dilution was effective in efficiency rise.

기술혁신활동이 부도위험에 미치는 영향에 있어서 매출액과 수익성의 매개효과

기술혁신활동은 기존(새로운) 사업영역의 확대(발굴)를 가능하게 하며 단위당 생산원가의 절감을 제공함으로써 기업의 부도위험을 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 이는 많은 자원의 투자를 필요로 함과 동시에 그 결과를 확신하기 어렵다. 따라서 기술혁신활동은 매출액 및 수익성 증대에 따른 효익을 상쇄하고도 남는 비용의 초래를 유발함으로써 오히려 기업의 부도위험을 증가시킬 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기술혁신 활동이 기업의 매출액 및 수익성 증대를 통해 부도위험을 낮추는 효과가 있는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체표본의 경우 기술혁신활동이 활발할수록 기업의 매출액과 수익성이 증가함과 동시에 부도위험이 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 기술혁신활동이 매출액 및 수익성을 통해 부도위험을 낮추는 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 첨단 및 고기술업종표본의 경우 전체표본과 같이 유의한 매출액 및 수익성의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 중 및 저기술업종표본의 경우 이들 변수의 매개효과를 확인할 수 없었다. Technology innovation activity plays an important role in increasing a sales by bringing on the improvement of product's performance and a profitability by reducing the cost of production. Thus, technology innovation activity can reduce the default risk of firms. However, in spite of these effects of technology innovation activity, this activity can make the default risk of firm because it induce a firm to much investment of resources. This study examines the effect of technology innovation activity on the sales, profitability, and default risk of firms. This study's sample consists of manufacturing firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2008. The results show that technology innovation activity has a positive effect on the sales (profitability) but a negative effect on the default risk of firms. Also there is the significant mediation effect of sales and profitability.
