        원예치료가 치매노인의 손 기능에 미치는 영향

        In order to examine the effect of horticultural therapy on hand function of demented elders, the present study applied horticultural therapy to demented elders who were able to use both of their hands. The horticultural therapy program (HTP) included various works in need of delicate hand motions for strengthening the demented elders’ hand function. Hand function was evaluated in terms of pinch and grip. The pinch of the right hand was changed from 2.90 ㎏ pre-HTP to 3.97 ㎏ post-HTP (p<0.05), and that of the left hand was changed from 3.06 ㎏ to 3.99 ㎏ (p<0.05). This shows that pinch was strengthened significantly after the horticultural therapy. The grip of the right hand was changed from 6.02 ㎏ pre-HTP to 7.40 ㎏ post-HTP, and that of the left hand was changed from 5.32 ㎏ to 6.85 ㎏. This shows that grip was strengthened little by little after the horticultural therapy but the change was not significant. Therefore, if demented elders continue to have various types of hand works moderate to them, such works will be effective not only in maintaining their hand function but also in strengthening it further. 원예치료가 치매노인의 손 기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해서 양손 사용이 가능한 치매노인을 대상으로 원예치료를 실시하였다. 원예치료 프로그램은 치매노인의 손 기능 강화를 위해 섬세한 손동작을 필요로 하는 다양한 작업을 실시하였다. 손 기능은 손가락으로 잡을 수 있는 힘(pinch)과 손으로 움켜쥘 수 있는 힘(grip)으로 나누어 평가하였다. 손가락으로 잡을 수 있는 힘의 변화를 보면 오른손의 경우 원예치료 실시하기 전 처음은 2.90㎏이었으나 마지막 측정값은 3.97㎏으로(p<0.05), 왼손은 3.06㎏에서 3.99㎏으로(p<0.05) 원예치료 실시하고 난 뒤 손가락으로 잡을 수 있는 힘이 유의하게 강화되는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 손으로 움켜 쥘수 있는 힘은 오른손의 경우 원예치료 실시하기 전 처음은 6.02㎏이었으나 원예치료를 모두 마치고 난 뒤는 7.40㎏으로, 왼손은 5.32㎏에서 6.85㎏으로 원예치료 실시 후 손으로 움켜쥐는 힘이 조금씩 강화되는 것을 볼 수 있었으나 유의성은 없었다. 그러나 매 회기마다 원예치료 실시하기 직전과 직후에 악력을 측정한 결과는 양손 모두 원예치료 실시 후에는 손으로 움켜 쥐는 힘이 유의하게 강화되는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 치매노인들에게 직접적으로 손 기능 강화에 도움을 줄 수 있는 원예 프로그램들만으로 설계하여 무리가 가지 않는 범위 내에서 지속적으로 손으로 활동할 수 있는 원예활동을 실시한다면 손의 기능 강화와 유지에 효과가 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

        2011년 토호쿠 대지진의 수중음향 관측

        2011년 3월 11일에 일본 토호쿠 앞바다에서 규모 9.0의 대지진이 발생하였고 이는 전 세계 지진관측망뿐 아니라 IMS(International Monitoring System)에서 운영하는 하와이 수중음향 관측망에도 기록되었다. 우리는 이 대지진을 비롯한 두개의 규모 7 이상의 여진의 수중음향 자료에 대하여 방위각 및 스펙트럼 분석을 통해 복잡한 지진원에서 발생한T 파의 특성을 파악하고자 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 복잡한 단층 파열 현상이 직접적으로 T 파의 형태에 영향을 미치는 것을 관측하였고, 빠른 단층 파열 과정에 의하여 발생한 T 파가 중첩되는 구간에서 큰 에너지가 기록된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 두 여진에서 발생한 T 파를 비교한 결과 단층 종류와 깊이에 의해 T 파의 형태와 주파수 특성이 변하는 것을 확인하였다. The MW 9.0 thrust-fault earthquake has occurred in the Pacific coast of Tohoku, Japan, on March 11, 2011. We present the detection of the great earthquake and analyze T-waves associated with the main event and two other big aftershocks (MW > 7) recorded in a hydroacoustic array (H11N) in the Pacific Ocean by performing array and spectral analysis to examine characteristics of T-waves generated from the big events. The complex rupture process of the main event directly influences on the shape of the T-waves, and the peak locates on where T-waves excited from fast rupturing process arrive. We compare the two aftershocks with different fault type and show that the fault type and the source depth change shape and spectral contents of T-waves.

        원예치료가 치매노인의 스트레스 및 혈중 코티졸 호르몬에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 원예치료가 치매노인의 스트레스와 혈중 코티졸에 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아보기 위하여 노인시설에서 보호를 받고 있는 치매노인 중에서 약물을 복용하지 않으며 혈액검사에 동의한 자를 대상으로 하였다. 원예치료 프로그램은 치매노인의 스트레스 감소를 궁극적 목표로 대상자들이 선호하는 꽃 장식만을 실시한 결과 주관적 스트레스 측정결과 대조군은 12.88점에서 17.88점으로 스트레스 수치가 높아진 반면에 실험군은 원예치료 실시 전 13.88점에서 실시 후 6.38점으로 유의하게(p = 0.007) 낮아졌다. 스트레스의 생리적인 변화로 혈중 코티졸 호르몬을 측정한 결과 원예치료 실시 전 11.33㎍ · L?¹에서 실시 후에 9.85㎍ · L?¹로 혈중 코티졸 호르몬의 수치가 유의하게(p = 0.037) 낮아지는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같이 원예치료는 혈중 코티졸 호르몬 수치를 낮추어 주어 스트레스 감소에 효과적인 것을 알 수 있었다. This study was conducted in order to examine the effects of horticultural therapy on stress in demented elders, and for this purpose, we analyzed stress-related physiological changes in demented elders under the care of an elderly facility who had not taken medication and consented to blood tests. The horticultural therapy program included only flower decoration, which was preferred by the participants, aiming ultimately to reduce stress. First, a one-to-one session was given for forming rapport and the horticultural therapist had many conversations about plants with the elders. Furthermore, the participants were induced to be absorbed into the horticultural activities, though a short while, so that they might forget troubles. Evaluation was made by measuring subjective stress and the blood cortisol hormone concentration before and after the horticultural therapy and examining differences between them. Subjective stress increased from 12.88 to 17.88 in the control group, but decreased significantly from 13.88 before the therapy to 6.38 after in the experimental group (p = 0.007). When the blood cortisol hormone level was measured as a physiological indicator of stress, it decreased significantly from 11.33 ㎍ · L?¹ before the horticultural therapy to 9.85 ㎍ · L?¹ after (p = 0.037). These results suggest that horticultural therapy reduces the blood cortisol hormone level and is effective in easing stress.

        스마트폰 뷰티 애플리케이션의 유형화

        Such Smart phones are introduced to the market in 3~4 years just to maintain explosive growth was the fundamental reason is The most common cell phone calls were a central simple communication tool, a data-centric smart phone is in the pocket PC. The smart phone enables companies to implement communication marketing with customers, and then advertisement agencies have increased dramatically. The beauty market in mobile contents is rapidly growing, as more and more people acquire and share information using smart devices under this new trend. In this study, I searched up the beauty-related words - Hair, Make-up, Skin, Nail and Beauty - both in Korean and English from January 4 to June 1, 2012 at the app store of Apple, and first selected a total of 1,942 beauty applications, then finally selected a total of 385 applications to examine their invigoration based on the updates since January 2012. The study was conducted by directly downloading and executing the applications from smart phone. Firms to conduct marketing communication with customers due to the emergence of smart devices will be more smarter. Brand marketing company based in the application becomes active, but this time to satisfy consumers' response in the application was worth many points too low, even the existence of the innumerable amount of things that were unknown. Thus, in a fierce market constantly update applications in a fun and useful content, engaging in motivating the item should be excavated. This was indicated by the smart thing to provide the right combination of skill and beauty that must have been issued a new feature that can be sustained beyond the application was seen to emerge.

        화장품 애칭의 다양성에 관한 연구

        21st century is an era of sensitivity, culture and informatization. In a rapidly changing era, competitions among corporations trying to strengthen the product competitiveness are getting morefierce, and establishments of new marketing strategies are in demand. In order to maximize the product competitiveness in an era where great importance is being attached to sensitivity, the process of assigning appropriate images to products is important. Brand competitions have gotten intense due to reductions in product qualities, and we have entered the era of sensitivity marketing as forms of purchases by consumers have changed into sensible purchases from purchases that originally focused on product features only. This is not an exception in the cosmetics industry. In order to respond to the era of limitless competitions, corporations are putting in efforts to discover new strategies that can enhance the brand competitiveness and form unique images for their own brand. One of such methods is brand nicknaming. Up till now, brand names of products, which are brand modifiers, consisted of alphabets and numbers, and it was difficult for non-experts to recognize them. Brand nickname is equal to the brand modifier, and it is attached to the product so that consumers can recognize the brand name more easily. Product nicknaming behaviors by consumers are occurring actively after the product launch. This can be understood as the customer participation that occurs during the consumption process, with characteristics of re-interpretation of products and ascription of meanings through interactions among consumers. Therefore, this study wishes to examine the types and diversity of nicknames that are known to increase the brand awareness in cosmetic products. Channels of birth for cosmetics nicknames are diverse, and communications with consumers are actively ongoing through recent nickname contests. It is believed that nickname marketing strategies that must be considered when it comes to purchase decision factors and new products launches in a complicated future market circumstances will have sufficient marketing effects.
