The purpose of this study was to investgate on the effect of fundamental physical fintness on cadiovascular capacity in male and female college students. 100 healthy male and female students were volunteered as subjects for this study. Their cadiovascular capacity (heart rate, modified step test, endurance run, bicycle ride) and fundamental physical fitness (hand grip, stading long jump, 100m run, sit-up, pull up (female; flexed arm hang), trunk forward flexion, Burpee test)were measured. The resulting datas were statically analyzed. The results of this study were as follows; In male; 1. Correlation coefficient between heart rate and bicycle ride was statically significant (r=0.317; p<0.05). 2. Correlation coefficient between modified step test and bicycle ride (r=0.433; p<0.01), endurance run (r=0.281; p<0.05), sit-up (r=-0.319; p<0.05) were statically significant. 3. Correlation coefficient between endurance run and bicycle ride (r=0.640; p<0.001), 100m run (r=0.369; p<0.01), Burpee test (r=-0.343; p<0.05), modified step test (r=0.281; p<0.05) were statically significant. 4. Correlation coefficient between bicycle ride and endurance run (r=0.640; p<0.001), 1modified step test (r=0.433; p<0.01), set-up(r=-0.398; p<0.01), heart rate (r=0.317; p<0.05), 100m run(r=0.314; p<0.05), Burpee test (r=-0.306; p<0.05) were statically significant. In female; 1. Correlation coefficient between heart rate and bicycle ride was statically significant (r=0.327; p<0.05). 2. Correlation coefficient between modified step test and sit-up (r=-0.407; p<0.01), Bicycle ride (r=0.314; p<0.05), were statically significant. 3. Correlation coefficient between endurance run and bicycle ride (r=0.584; p<0.001), 100m run (r=0.456; p<0.001), sit-up (r=-0.379; p<0.01), were statically significant. 4. Correlation coefficient between bicycle ride and endurance run (r=0.584; p<0.001), heart rate (r=0.321; p<0.05), modified step test (r=0.314; p<0.05), 100m run(r=0.291; p<0.05), were statically significant.
