For the existence of a electron-optical sensor in the smart munition, it is important to safe both soft recovery system projectile and the structure as well. In this paper, a design theory was provided by using advance computational fluid dynamics techniques. For saving time, an Axi-symmetric model was analyzed by the finite element method. Transient analysis for measuring stress, in accordance with the time-dependent pressure, was used to determine the dynamics response of the structure. Based on the established the solutions, the data obtained through performing the basic experiment was compared with the analyzed solutions after designing the soft recovery system.
