유치원의 실외놀이의 구성 및 운영 실태에 관한 조사연구

본 연구는 서울, 경기, 충남, 제주 지역에 위치한 유치원 교사 420명을 대상으로 실외놀이시설의 공간 구성, 운영 실태, 안전점검 실태를 분석함으로써 실외놀이를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이있다. 독립적인 실외놀이 공간의 유무, 실외놀이 시간 편성유무, 실외놀이 계획안작성유무에서는 지역의 차이없이 대부분의 유치원에서 독립적인 실외놀이 공간을 갖고 있고. 실외놀이의 시간을 편성하고 계획안을 작성하여 운영하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 실외놀이의 위치 및 영역구성, 실외놀이 대체 장소, 실외놀이 횟수,놀이 시간대, 시간대 계획시 고려사항, 보조교사 활용유무, 실외놀이 시간량, 실외놀이 시설의 안전점검 실태 등에서는 지역간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to explore the current environmental conditions and uses of kindergarten outdoor playgrounds. Data collected was through a questionnaire presented to teachers on the conditions and content of outdoor play. In this study, it was found that most kindergartens had their own outdoor playgrounds. Fixed play equipment structures such as swings, slides, and seesaws were the most frequently provided items in outdoor playgrounds. Future programs to active outdoor plays should include various outdoor activities including safety education and safety checks on play facilities, and possible ways to take advantage of currently given space and environment for outdoor play. Also, for the purpose of children`s entertainment and recovery in their own traits, it is noteworthy to provide such conditions and environments.
