In this study, a non-destructive inspection was conducted for the materials used for the offshore wind power generation. In order to build an ultrasound-infrared thermography non-destructive inspection system, it is required to develop core technologies such as ultrasound excitation and thermography. The ultrasound excitation is a core technology to generate heat from defective parts by propagating elastic wave into the material. In this study, this technology was applied after the ultrasonic wave transmission part was designed, and the ultrasonic frequency and output and the ultrasonic energy level and excitation time were determined.
