Abstract The term Morology comes from the Greek Morphe (form) and Logos(logic), meaningRefers to the logical composition of form. The explanation of "form" in "Cihai" is that it refers to the shape and demeanor of things, and also refers to the state of things The form of expression under certain conditions. In biology, the term "morphology" refers to the study of the whole and its composition of animals and plants The appearance and structure of certain parts are the main branches of biology. In summary, the term form not only refers to the geometric shape of an object, but also includes the meaning and mental state conveyed by its shape. Architectural morphology encompasses two key points of expression, one of which is the relationship between architectural form and its place significance, This includes the expression of the place spirit and culture presented in form; The second is to include the "form" in the architectural form The intuitive expression presented by human vision includes the overall appearance of the building entity, the shape, color, and material of the building parts and details that are directly presented. Architectural morphology attempts to deeply analyze the form, place spirit, and relationship with culture that architecture gives people an intuitive impression from a new perspective. This article analyzes the central and urban areas of university campuses, and systematically summarizes the problems existing in the spatial form of teaching areas in university campuses, as well as the historical and cultural issues of the campus. Then, the architectural morphology theory and architectural typology theory involved in the spatial form of the university campus center were elaborated, and their design methods were analyzed one by one based on excellent construction cases. Furthermore, summarize the characteristics of the form of modern urban centers and campus centers; Based on architectural morphology and the theory of Gestalt visual perception, a systematic summary of methods for designing spatial interfaces and levels in the central teaching area of the campus was carried out, taking into account the issues raised at the spatial interface and spatial hierarchy level, combined with excellent examples; Based on architectural typology and architectural morphology theory, corresponding design methods are summarized to address the problems in effective expression of campus culture, and further research is conducted on the systematic design of the spatial form of the central teaching area of university campuses from the whole to the local, and from the material to the humanities. Finally, combined with the expansion of Chengdu University, the transformation from theory to practice was achieved, and the summarized content of this article was also verified to some extent, thereby providing theoretical basis and practical experience. This article explores the spatial form of the central campus area in universities, in order to summarize a relatively complete set of design theories. It is hoped that the construction of the central teaching area in universities will play a certain theoretical guidance role, provide a better learning environment for college students, and enhance their recognition of the campus Empathy and sense of belonging are helpful in enhancing campus cultural confidence.
