Recently, the PDP is the most remarkable media for a next generation display device. But the PDP is a high power consumption device. It is to required a high efficiency power supply. We reported the experimental result the high efficiency PDP power supply for 550W class. The proposed converter is quasi-resonant flyback topology, it achieves soft-switching in the single-switch flyback converter. As a result, we realize to very high efficiency power supply for PDP of 95% at 400V dc input and 550Watt output.

This paper presents a new voltage-current driven method for the synchronous rectifier (SR) in a flyback topology. The proposed synchronous rectifier of voltage-current driven can operate at wide load range with high efficiency. The gate voltage of MOSFET in the synchronous rectifier is easily controlled by resistor ratio. regardless of line and load fluctuation. The 200W (12V/17A) prototype is built and achieve efficiency as high as 90% at 7A, 90.5% at 10A and full load.

This is a experimental result which is reported with using 16-Bit microprocessor H8 series of Renesas company, organizing digital control which is practicable PWM embodiment, and applying switched-mode power supply. The basic topology consists of the active clamp forward DC-DC converter which is widely used for the highly efficient power supply these days. In an experiment, it incites the result to lay emphasis on the highly efficient operation of converter, and performance of digital control which is practicable PWM embodiment. And it is debated on performance of processor and condition for improving performance of part.
동기정류기를 이용한 200W급 공진형 플라이백 DC-DC 컨버터에 관한 연구

This paper presents a novel current driving method for the synchronous rectifier (SR) in a Flyback topology. The proposed current driven synchronous rectifier features low power loss, good performance and the gate voltage of FET in the synchronous rectifier is easily controlled by zener voltage. The proposed SR driving method is implemented in a 200W Flyback converter with 400Vdc input and achieved excellent performance at full load.
