철도차량에서 사용하는 부유상구조의 진동절연특성에 관한 연구

In this paper vibration reduction characteristics of floating floors used in railway vehicles are studied. Vibration reduction characteristics are compared through a series of tests for elastically-coupled floor and rigidly-coupled floor. It was found that elastically-coupled floor has larger vibration reduction amount than rigidly-coupled floor. Around the fundamental natural frequency, however, elastic floor has poor vibration reduction effect than rigid floor. Measures to reduce structure-borne noise are also discussed based on the test results. Structure-borne noise for running railway vehicles cannot be reduced by an effort to deviate resonance between natural frequency of floors and major exciting forces. Instead, reducing vibration level of top floor and using covers which have low sound radiation coefficient will be effective for reducing structure-borne noise.

Standards related to the exterior noise measurement of railway vehicles require measurement sites for which free sound propagation exits. During noise measurement, however, it is hard to find such a ideal site. This paper summarizes analysis and test results of the effect of obstacles, such as bushes and sound barriers, on the measured exterior noise levels.

Internal running noise of a vehicle running in open field is the summation of air borne noise and structure-borne noise. In this paper vibration damping characteristics of carbody are investigated to see the effect of sound-deadening paint on the internal running noise. By using SEA method, vibration levels of complete train with and without sound-deadening paint are estimated and structure borne noise levels are estimated.

Internal noise level of a train running in tunnel is influenced by sound transmission coefficients of floor, side door, window and gangway as well as by the sound power levels of major noise sources. The structure of a gangway should be strong enough for the safety of passengers while it should be flexible enough for the movement of a train in curves. Due to this the sound transmission coefficients of gangways are relatively low compared to those of carbody structure. The effect of the sound transmission coefficient of the gangway is studied in this paper in regards to the existence of end doors.

Structure-borne noise is known to dominate internal running noise levels in open field. In this paper vibration isolation characteristics of floors are investigated to see their effect on the internal running noise. By using the analysis and test results of test specimen of small size, internal running noise level of complete train is estimated. Analysis results show that soft rubber as a vibration isolator has the most favorable effect on the inside running noise.

Air spring system is widely accepted for secondary suspension of railway vehicle to support load and absorb the vibration. And the a major role of the air spring system is to improve vertical dynamic characteristics and vertical ride comfort. The mechanical behaviour of air spring is based on fluid and thermodynamic mechanics. The main parameters of air spring are stiffness due to compression of the air in the spring and surge reservoir, change of area stiffness and orifice damping. In this paper, the orifice damping characteristics are determined using wedge test results and the correlations between orifice design factors and the damping characteristics are reviewed.

This paper presents the evaluation of fatigue life for a journal box attached to rolling stock bogie under random dynamic loading condition. Because a journal box was under random dynamic loading conditions, the fatigue life assessment due to these loads requires the anlysis considering the multiaxial effect of random dynamic loading. To do this work, the finite element analysis has been conducted to calculate random dynamic response using multiaxial acceleration data. Then, the fatigue life assessment of component has been conducted using vibration fatigue analysis applying the power spectral densities of the responses obtained through the FEA. The results of fatigue life assessment were compared to the damage from the strain measurement. This study shows that can be evaluated the fatigue life assessment considering real service condition about a component attached to rolling stock bogie.
