본 연구의 목적은 대학 교양 골프수업에 참가하는 학생들의 교육제반환경 만족도에 대하여 알아보고, 교양골프 수업현장에서 작용하는 효율적인 지도방법과 교육내용, 그리고 여러 환경을 토대로 학생들에 대한 만족도를 높이기 위한 체계적인 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 수도권에 있는 교양체육으로 교양골프를 개설한 대학 4개교 학생을 모집단으로 선정하여 K대, H대, M대, Y대학교의 교양골프 수업에 참여하고 있는 학생들 220명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시였다. 개인별 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석 실시하였고, 설문지의 신뢰도를 검토하기 위하여 Cronbach'α를 적용하여 문항 내적 일관성을 검증하였다. 그리고 인구통계학적 특성, 교육제반환경만족도를 알아보기 위하여 독립표본 t-test검증과 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA)을 이용하였다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 교육제반환경 만족도에 관한 내용의 분석결과 지도방법에서는 남학생보다 여학생이 평균적으로 높은 점수를 나타내었고, 교육내용에서는 남학생이 여학생보다 대체적으로 높은 평균을 나타내었다. 시설에 있어서는 남자, 여자 모두 비슷한 평균을 나타내었고, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 교육제반환경 만족도에 관한 내용의 분석결과 지도방법에서는 학년이 낮을수록 높은 만족도를 나타내었고, 교육내용에서도 2학년의 평균점수가 대체적으로 높았으며, 시설에서는 3학년에서 대체적으로 높은 평균점수를 나타내었다. 그리고 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction of college students taking golf classes as one of general education courses with the overall educational setting, teaching methods and the content of education in a bid to provide some systematic information on ways of boosting their satisfaction. The subjects in this study were 220 students who were selected from a population of students at four different colleges in the metropolitan area which were K, H, M and Y colleges. The colleges offered golf classes as one of general P.E. courses. A survey was conducted on the selected students who took the golf courses. A frequency analysis was made to figure out their personal characteristics, and the Cronbach alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated to verify the item internal consistency of the questionnaire to test its reliability. Besides, independent-samples t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized to find out their demographic characteristics and satisfaction with the educational environments. The findings of the study were as follows: Firs, as a result of analyzing their satisfaction with the educational setting by gender, the female students gave higher marks than the male students to teaching methods, and the latter gave higher marks than the former in satisfaction with the content of education. Both groups gave similar scores to the facilities, and the intergroup gaps were statistically significant. Second, as a result of analyzing their satisfaction with the overall educational setting by academic year, the students whose academic year was lower expressed better satisfaction with teaching methods. The sophomores gave more marks to the content of education in general, and the juniors gave higher marks to the facilities on the whole. The intergroup gaps were statistically significant.
