한방병원 병상 실태와 한방 간호의 교육 현황에 따른 한방간호사 수요 예측에 대한 고찰

The purpose of this research is to provide basic data for the demanding outlook and the Nursing education by grasping the present educational conditions of nursing in oriental medicine. The results of survey and study on 112nationwide schools (47 Department of nursing and 65 Nursing junior colleges) and data of the Korean Oriental Medicine Association and General Assembly in Sep. 1998 are as follows. 1. The number of nurse Oriental Medicine hospitals require in 2002 will have increased at least 700 or more. Public health centers` and other centers` requirements will increase more and more.2. Education of nursing in oriental medicine is offered at practice in 14universities (29.8%) among 47universities and 35 colleges (53.8%) among 65 colleges.3. Nursing education in Oriental Medicine is mostly offered in the first term of the second year at universities third year at colleges with 2 points. According to this result, we would like to suggest as follows; A nurse whose main interesting subject is human beings will be an important figure as a medical information administrator in 21 century, namely, a nurse will play the leading part in the hospital administration more than a doctor. We must take much more interest and exert ourselves in developing education of nursing in oriental medicine because in the future it will be the one and only field in the world, so we can export our Nursing manpower.

The goal of this study is to review and define the role of nurses who are engaged in Korea Oriental treatments in oriental medical hospitals. We think this study can contribute to the development of "Korea Oriental medical science & nursing science" and "Public health care". A large portion of nurses's role in Korea Medicine(KOM. 한방/한의학) is assistance to doctors treatment. But besides of these role, we think there are many things that are riskless for nurses to do alone. But in present situation, few nurses in KOM, have enough knowledge to treat these medical treatments alone. So we believe this study will provide a way for nurses to participate more actively in KOM public health care. So we believe this study will provide a way for nurses that have been practiced in oriental medical health care. With the goal of this study, we checked all medical treatments that have been practiced in oriental medical hospitals, and classified these treatments with some groups. And we organized a inquiry. At this inquiry, we ask "What is th adequate role of nurses in Korea Oriental medical treatment? & What kind of treatment can nurses do?" We got 58 responses from nationwide 121 hospitals. From these response, more than half of them said nurses can do following medical treatment in the oriental medical hospital: 1. starting and ending part of following treatments; External treatments by instrument, by hydrotherapy, by herb, by suction, moxibustion, Manipulative therapies on soft structure, Living and mind-body therapies. 2. pulling out Acupuncture. 3. boiling herb, judgement on dosing temperature, assisting in dosing, 4. assisting Diet. 5. operating from Living and mind-body therapies. 6. leading Physical training However, these results are coming out from present situation. So, after well-oriented instructions for nurses, this study will be need to carry out again. From this study, we suggest a desirable curriculum for students who study "Korea Oriental Nursing Science". That is to say, at basic course students take 4 subject for 6 credit. And at as an expert course, it should be dividend into Clinical Nursing Specialist in KOM,. Self-care Nursing Specialist and take 17credits per each course.

In this thesis, I intend to study the translational and clinical interpretation through the theory of Eum-Yang-Li-Hap', and reached the following conclusions. 1. 'Eum-Yang(陰陽)' in title, means Yin and Yang as method of understanding nature or humanbody, and 'Li-Hap(離合)' in title, means classification and getting together. Especially there are a view that Eum Yang in title means only meridinans within the limit of human body, but the limit needn't, because the word 'Li-hap of 3Yin-3Yang(三陰三陽之離合)' as meaning of human meridians in the text. 2. THe content of the text is generally seperated into 3 parts, the 1st part contents properties of Li Hap of Yin and Yang. 2nd and 3rd parts content the explanation of property of 3Yin and 3Yang, as example of human meridians with local conception, and content nicknames of 3Yin-3Yang and present the Ideo of 'Kae-Hap-Choo(開闔樞)'. 3. 3Yin-3Yang in the text, many of annotators tried to explanate by three types of conception, of human meridians, of the 'Viscera-Bowels(臟腑)', or of the 'Element motions and Natural factors(運氣)'. I think that these three conceptions could be mixed when the text was written. and regarde for the present that 3Yin-3Yang is explanated by the conception of human meridians. 4. 'Eum (陰)' the head-letter of the nicknames of 3Yin-3Yang, I think that it means 'Jok-Gyeong(足經)' related with the words 'The earth belongs to Yin (地爲陰)' in the text. And it is considered that further studies should be followed on the tail-words of 3Yin-3Yang's nicknams. 5. Kae-Hap-Choo, Used in similitudes as 'Li (離)' of 3Yin-3Yang, are seperated functions by location of 3Yin-3Yang. In text 'Tae-Yang(太陽)' and 'Tae-Eum(太陰)' act as 'Kae(開)', 'Yang-Myeong(陽明)' and 'Gweor-Eum(厥陰)' act as 'Hap(闔)'. 'So-Yang(少陽)' and 'So-Eum(少陰)' act as 'Choo(樞)'. But there is other theory that Gweor-Eum act as Choo, and So-Eum act as Hap. 6. The theory of Kae-Hop-Choo, including only Jok-Gyeong being main materials of 'Yook Gyeong-Byeon-Jeung(六經辨證) had influence on development of clinical studies. If the theory of Kae-Hap-Choo receives and unions the ideos of '3 burning-Spaces(三焦)', metabolism, etc. more development of medicine is expected.
