        실패유형의 종속성을 고려한 서비스 시스템의 FMEA 평가모델

        Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is a systematic approach for identifying potential failures before they occur, with the intent to minimize the risk associated with them. It has been widely used in the various manufacturing industries as a solution to reliability problems. As the importance of the service sector is increasing, however, it has been recently extended to some applications in services. Despite these attempts, FMEA cannot be directly applied to the reliability problems in a service industry. Due to the heterogeneity and customer participation in service process, we cannot perfectly prevent service failures. For this reason, we suggest a new risk priority number with three input parameters that consist of severity, probability of occurrence, and recoverability. In this paper, we propose an approach for assessing service risk and service reliability using the service-oriented risk priority number (S-RPN). An example regarding a hypermarket service process is used to demonstrate the proposed approach. FMEA는 실패로 인한 위험을 최소화하기위해 실패의 요인과 그로인한 영향을 사전에 평가하는 체계적인 방법이다. 이 방법은 제품의 신뢰도 문제를 해결하기 위해 제조산업 분야에서 주로 사용되어 왔으나, 서비스의 역할과 중요성이 커지면서 최근에는 이를 서비스의 신뢰도 문제에도 사용하고 있다. 하지만, 서비스에서는 고객이 서비스 전달 프로세스에 참여하며 고객마다의 이질성 등으로 인해 제조업을 위해 개발된 FMEA를 직접 사용할 수은 없다. 이러한 이유로 인해, FMEA를 서비스에 적용하기위한 여러 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 심각도, 발생빈도, 검출력으로 우선순위를 평가하던 기존의 RPN 대신에, 서비스 특성을 고려하여 심각도, 발생빈도, 회복력 3가지로 평가하는 새로운 지수 S-RPN을 제시하였으며, 기존연구의 사례를 통해 제시된 방법의 효용성을 평가하였다.

        스마트기기 이용실태 분석을 통한 제품 - 서비스 시스템의 설계요인 분석

        개인화된 제품이나 서비스에 대한 시장의 요구가 갈수록 커지면서, 기업들은 대량 고객화 시대에 제품(서비스)를 차별화 시키고 제품(서비스)의 가치를 증가시키기 위해 제품과 서비스를 통합해가도 있다. 이를 제품-서비스 시스템(Product-Service System: PSS)라고 한다. 기존연구에서는 PSS 모델링 방법을 중심으로 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 본 연구에서는 서로의 특성이 전혀 다른 유형의 제품과 무형의 서비스를 통합하는 PSS의 설계요인을 분석하고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 스마트기기 사용자들을 대상으로 하여 실시된 설문조사 결과를 분석하고, 이를 설계요인 프레임워크에 의해 분석하는 실증적 탐색연구를 실시하였다. PSS에서 유형의 제품 기능은 무형의 서비스 기능을 이용하기 위한 보조적 역할을 하며, 서비스 기능이 주기능으로서 역할하는 것으로 나타났다. Due to customers' constantly increasing demand for personalized products and services, manufacturing enterprises integrate tangible physical products and intangible services to provide more diverse physical products and services. Many researchers are concerned with Product-Service Systems (PSS) modeling, but we have wondered on the interactions between the product and the service in a PSS. To find relationships between the two in a PSS, the survey results on utilization of smart phone are analysed and compared based on the PSS design framework to identify design factors for PSS.

        실패모드에 근거한 서비스 신뢰도 평가모델

        글로벌 경쟁 상황에 처한 현대의 모든 기업들은 고객의 니즈를 충족시키고, 이를 통한 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 방안으로서 서비스를 이해하기 시작하면서 서비스에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다. 기업들이 제공하는 제품이나 서비스의 가치는 주로 고객과 서비스 제공자 간의 관계에서 형성되는 만족도의 정도로 정의되는 서비스 신뢰도에 의해 크게 좌우된다. 본 연구에서는, 유형의 제품이나 시스템의 실패 유형과 영향을 평가하는데 널리 사용되는 FMEA를 서비스의 신뢰도 평가에 적용하였다. 이를 위해, 서비스의 설계와 서비스 기능과 실패 간의 관계를 용이하게 표현할 수 있는 사건중심 프로세스 모델을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 서비스 프로세스 관점에서의 서비스 신뢰도를 평가하는 방법을 제시하는 것으로서, 이를 위해 fuzzy FMEA와 grey 이론을 이용하였다. 제안된 방법은 자동차정비 프로세스 사례에 적용하여 평가하였다. Service and manufacturing companies' efforts are increasingly focused on utilizing services to satisfy customers' needs and survive in today's competitive market environment. The value of services depends mainly on service reliability that is identified by satisfaction derived from the relationship between customer and service provider. In this paper, we extend concepts from the failure modes and effects analysis of tangible systems to services. We use an event-based process model to facilitate service design and represent the relationships between functions and failures in a service. The objective of this research is to propose a method for evaluating service reliability based on service processes using fuzzy failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) and grey theory. We define the failure mode of service as interaction ways that can be failed in a service delivery process. The fuzzy set theory is used to characterize service reliability based on linguistic terms during FMEA. Grey theory is employed to determine the degree of relation and ranking among risk factors that are represented as potential failure causes. To demonstrate implementation of the proposed method, we use a case study involving a typical automotive service operation.

        The most of national industrial complex were developed and supplied not according to the requirements of enterprise but the needs of the government. And it leads to current serious out of balance in demand and supply of industrial complex. Buckpyoung industrial complex started sale from when the industrial complex developed in 1995 however the unsold percentage of it was 67% until in October, 2005. And this result was ranked the top in the unsold percentage among the 42 national industrial complex in korea. In this paper we research how to accelerate the sale of Buckpyoung industrial complex and to reinvigorate local economy and present the constitution of building material cluster and physical distribution system as the results of our research.

        Analysis of Network Neutrality in Two-sided Markets Using Game Theory

        Net neutrality, which has not been a problem, has recently become a problem for ISPs (Internet Service Providers), and their complaints have been paid by domestic platform companies, but overseas global IT companies such as Google and YouTube, generate huge revenues from domestic markets. In this situation, domestic IT companies claim that it is natural to impose more expensive charges or restrict speed on users who generate huge traffic. On the other side, however, the telecommunication network has become an essential public good that is essential to our everyday life, and because it has been given a monopoly position by a private company to efficiently respond to the explosive demand for telecommunication services, It is necessary to provide equal and universal service and fulfill public duty. In this paper, we deal with the network neutrality problem, focusing on the price elasticity between the CP (Contents Provider) and the ISP, rather than the user who is one side of the two-sided market for the already saturated satellites communication market. We present a game model that determines the optimal price for each platform by Nash equilibrium and analyze how the net neutrality affects CP according to the change of exogenous variables through the proposed game model.

        An Object-Oriented Design Framework for Developing Product-Service Systems

        Trends of integrating products and services lead to the emergence of Product-Service System (PSS). To implement and embody a PSS solution in new product development, a comprehensive design framework is allowed designers to facilitate the design factors of the PSS in complex business environments. A physical product, containing functionalities for services, is the role of medium between customers and a manufactures. Customers can access those metaphysical interfaces to utilize the product fully or expand its performances. The PSS is aiming to prolong its lifecycle while maintaining its expected quality. Since the quality can be represented as a measure which belongs to user's perspective, guaranteeing certain level of quality can be interpreted to sustaining customer satisfaction. The objective of this paper is to propose a PSS design framework to identify design factors for developing products and services by integrating object-oriented concepts and blueprinting in context of a business ecosystem. The proposed model is developed based on relationship products and services matching with their design factors. The products and the services are then brought together to form a PSS. Functions and processes can be categorized to identify the design factors in different levels using the object-oriented concepts. Objected-oriented concepts provide PSS analysis tools for describing a business process or a workflow process in the PSS. The blueprint is used to identify the relationships between the products functions and the service processes that are offered as part of a job. To demonstrate of the effectiveness of the proposed model, we use a case study involving a smart phone.

        The purpose of this study was to compare pedaling patterns according to pedal types during driving. Three-dimensional gait analyses were performed from a self-selected pace, and fourteen subjects participated in the three times(the early, middle and last years). Six cameras (Proreflex MCU-240, Qualisys) were used to acquire raw data. The parameters were calculated and analyzed with Visual-3D. In conclusion, most joint - ROM of lower limbs were less than two-foot pedal system. It is necessary that the current pedal system is to be improved.

        Developing a Quality Risk Assessment Model for Product Liability Law

        As the global uncertainty of manufacturing has increased and the quality problem has become global, the recall has become a fatal risk that determines the durability of the company. In addition, as the convergence of PSS (product-service system) product becomes common due to the development of IT convergence technology, if the function of any part of hardware or software does not operate normally, there will be a problem in the entire function of PSS product. In order to manage the quality of such PSS products in a stable manner, a new approaches is needed to analyze and manage the hardware and software parts at the same time. However, the Fishbone diagram, FTA, and FMEA, which are widely used to interpret the current quality problem, are not suitable for analyzing the quality problem by considering the hardware and software at the same time. In this paper, a quality risk assessment model combining FTA and FMEA based on defect rate to be assessed daily on site to manage quality and fishbone diagram used in group activity to solve defective problem. The proposed FTA-FMEA based risk assessment model considers the system structure characteristics of the defect factors in terms of the relationship between hardware and software, and further recognizes and manages them as risk. In order to evaluate the proposed model, we applied the functions of ITS(intelligent transportation system). It is expected that the proposed model will be more effective in assessing quality risks of PSS products because it evaluates the structural characteristics of products and causes of defects considering hardware and software together.

        In this paper, we propose a case study to treat planning and scheduling in factory of supply chain. In fact, the planning and the scheduling of a factory are not easily solved because of constraints of facility resources, material requirements, allowed planning times, and so on. However many packages are developed by vendors in Advanced Planning and Scheduling(APS) aspects to solve these problems. We, therefore, analyze problems of an electronic company and apply the tool, Factory Planner(FP), to solve problems.
