        이원수의 「꼬마 옥이」에 나타난 자기 반영성 연구

        In this paper, we attempt to interpret the meaning of the work with a new analysis using the 「Kkoma Ok-i」of Lee Wonsoo shown in selfreflexive aspects. Since we consider that the writer outside of the works reflects characters or narrator in works and this influences the writer ’s work, 「Kkoma Ok-i」of Lee Wonsoo has a very high correlation between the writer and the text of the people in the works. First self-reflexive aspects through a process of character shaping can divide fairy tale writer, I and guide to the world of fairy tales or ‘role’ in charge ‘Kkoma Ok-i’. Distinguishing between the role of the two figures which are the current I and Ok-i in fairy tale considers a selfreflexive aspects. Statement of confession of I, standing on the outside of a fairy-tale strengthens the author’s experience and memories. The unconscious manifestation of the self by Motif of the ‘shadow’ also expresses reflexive aspect. These self-reflexive aspect acts 「Kkoma Ok-i」as a kind of metafiction. However, the common meta-fiction and the creative process of 「Kkoma Ok-i」leads naturally to connect the fantastic world of fairy tales to reality. Also because of meta-narrative work, we can look at the writer’s identity for ‘fairy tale’. In conclusion, through the selfreflexive aspects of the work, the writer had met a wide variety of selfreflexive ‘I’ and it was followed by healing writing.

        청소년소설의 장르 용어 고찰

        The young adult novel and children’s novel which is similar scope of that was studied in this paper. First of all, the young adult’s realization and developing process was investigated, because it is necessary to recognize the historical interconnection for the formation of ‘young adult’ group. This proved that the period of the young adult was not only biological time but the product of recent times as well as a structure of history and society. What is more, we focused that the group of young adult was not object to educate and enlighten but the subjective and independent existence. In chapter 3, the relationship of the young adult novel and children’s novel was investigated by use of the changing process about children’s novel and the contents of children’s novel genre. In chapter 4, the common point and difference of the young adult novel and the bildungsroman was summarized. The results showed that the young adult novel and the bildungsroman could not be used for same concept. In Conclusion, it is important conditions that are focusing on the young adult after 1990’, new situation on children’s novel and the necessity of the young adult novel genre to establish and develop. And the continuous and active creation of the young adult novel also affects the formation of concept for the young adult novel genre.

        『마당을 나온 암탉』의 묘사 방식 연구

        This paper is to investigate a depiction for the fairy tales of Hwang Seonmi, “The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly,” and to know how to effect other special works by its features and aspects of the work. Depiction in fairy tales is divided in a depiction of character and a depiction of background and also a depiction of character is divided in the direct and the indirect depiction. Direct description summarizes the character’s attributes directly. Description of this work is mainly indirect but also uses the direct description for passing the situation. Indirect descriptions are consist of making name, person’s appearance, behavior, dialogue and diction, and the like. It is predictable in future as the name, ‘Ipssak’ people’s and we can see the plot. The name of ‘Green hair’ emphasizes on the appearance of the person and the name of the ‘stranger’ highlights the plight of the characters. In addition, appearance, behavior, etc. depict the plight of people and situations, and it used implicit dialogue and onomatopoeia. In view point of a depiction of background, a look-up work space of ipssak represents it in accordance with the change of the place through which specifically describe the role of the displayed area. Time is from spring in the poultry farm to the spring of the following year and depict the events through the change of nature with ipssak. When we summarized the characteristics of description of the work and the influence to other work, indirect rather than direct depiction mainly used portrayal. However, the indirect depiction only can not describe the perfect situation for reader, author finished the story using the direct depiction. Second, background depiction with an objective description indicates the situation and circumstances to inform ipssak by using the subjective descriptions. That is the psychological spacetime staying in the heart of ipssak. Third, to describe the birth and growth of many animals, maternal death, and the abstract and difficult emotion, we can use the description of the five senses of our body. These depiction delivered that leads the topic of the work to a deeper meaning. The ipssak’s bravery for dream and the expanded maternal love play a important role to describe the subject of the work. In addition, due to these depictions, the plot has become also hard.

        1960년대 독서 환경과 청소년 독자

        This paper is to investigate the environment surrounding the reading for youth in the 1960s and to know its effect on students’ reading. The 1960s is authentic modernization of the Korea Society. Delayed restoration of state institution due to war and division of Korea is more actively developed. As a means to achieve development and modernization, reading is emphasized. So it is no exception to the youth reading. Social movement has been captured to promote favorable reading society on the public literature and general education. On chapters 2 and 3, we investigate teenagers in the 1960s to study the reading aspect. At first, the youth facing social and cultural environment and the publication at that time are examined. Reading is selected as a tool for information delivery method to the modernization. Those reading books are consist of complete works primarily with a focus on information and literature. Reading to young people is a little bit in force and the kind of reading books is mostly classical and liberal. Also frequent readers focused on literature began to accept foreign literature. Specially, some of youth readers started to read the German Romantic books from the United States and Japan. This Germany liberal novel was soon growing genre novels for teenagers. And it was cultured to form a novel notion. Including the classical and liberal ideology-driven reading, the reading of pure and non-historical, non-ideological, literature was also formed. It is assumed that the notion, “Literature is a post-ideological” control some of consciousness and ideology of the youth. In conclusion, the 1960s is to be found in the time for the growth of the roots as the modern youth literature. Also, the 1960s is beginning time for youth reading problem in our society.

        오수연 연작 『부엌』의 원형성 탐구

        This paper is about space as taboo. proposal and salvation from Oh, Su Yeon's sequential novel BuUk in Archetype. The first meaning of Archetype in this text is space for taboo. Because of religious customs, kitchen is space with a variety of taboos in India. Before everything else, the most important taboo is vegetarianism without meat-eating, which is a religious commandment. In the text, the Japanese, Damo is a vegetarian and 'I' as woman speaker in the text and Damo live on vegetables only that is not simple liking but sublimating into morals. 'I' and Damo as vegetarian by the rule of taboo have kitchen for religious space which is unconsciously performed by taboo about food for themselves. But 'I' and Damo cannot obtain their directional happiness and satisfaction in spite of living a lonely life with eating vegetables only. As we know, suppression of a desire cannot remove the desire. The second Archetype in BuUk is space for proposal. On the contrary of the Japanese, Damo, an African, Murat buys carefully all kinds of food ingredients and eats constantly home-cooked gorgeous meal using them. We can bring up the image of a festival from the process of Murat’s cooking. The Cooking process in Kitchen is the paradoxical process for keeping the human life because making cook is killing the living things and human keeps his live by eating it. This cooking process is repeatedly ceremony in kitchen each day, each meal. Speaker 'I' is under illusion about boiling and eating Damo and Murat at the last chapter in the product BuUk. This fantasy is a scapegoat ceremony that 'I' joins a sacrificing ceremony which victimizes Damo and Murat. But this scapegoat ceremony cannot also arrive at salvation for controlling the desire because human still stays on the follower for desire. The last Archetype in BuUk is space for salvation. Though speaker 'I' and Damo eat vegetables only or eat extremely for a scapegoat ceremony with Murat, the kitchen is a 'holy place' with religious character regardless of eating behavior. But speaker 'I' realizes that eating the vegetables only or the gorgeous meal is not save himself. This realization changes suddenly the situation that he wants to be food for others. This means discovery of 'I' as victim for ceremony. The 『Bu Uk』, which is three sequential volumes of novel, show repeatedly Indian ghost 'kirttimuca' which has meaning of 'honor face' that is the principal theme of this novel. This means finally that the last victim in the world for ceremony is oneself beyond boundary of 'I' and others, which are common thread with a symbol of 'kirttimuca' who does not eat others but himself. In conclusion, this sequential novel makes predictions if human want to be willingly victimize for others such as 'kirttimuca', honor will cover the world. Therefore 『Bu Uk』 is not space for cooking only but the space for finding the human desire and for searching the possibility of removing the desire and the process of healing of soul. So we identify kitchen as the center of world because this space regains soul of human.

        음악교수법연구 : 중세 선법(Mode)을 이용한 재즈 즉흥 연주의 적용연구 -마일스 데이비스의 즉흥 연주를 중심으로

        현 시대가 추구하는 새롭고 다양한 음악을 만들기 위해서는 지금까지 수세기 동안의 역사 속에서 변화하며 발전해 온 음악 이론을 살펴보며, 과거의 이론적 형태에서 지금 현 시대의 상황과 음악적 스타일에 맞춰 또다시 변화시켜 새로운 이론으로 발전되며 창조 되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모드와 모달 재즈의 관계를 통하여 그 중요성을 연구하였는데, 고대 그리스부터 서양음악에서 존재했던 모드와 1959년에 모달 재즈의 시초가 된 마일즈 데이비스의 1959년 <Kind of Blue> 앨범은 이 논문을 연구하기에 좋은 예가 되었으며, 수록곡 <So What>, <Freddie Freeloader>의 테마와 즉흥 연주로 나누어 형식, 화성, 선율, 리듬 등에 관한 분석을 하였다. 각 곡마다 모드를 사용한 진행과 선율이 두드러지게 나타났으며, 즉흥연주에서도 모드의 특정음정들이 돋보여 모달 재즈의 특징이 잘 나타났다. 이 앨범은 1960년대 이후 많은 재즈 뮤지션들 뿐 만 아니라 팝, 영화음악 등에도 영향을 끼쳤으며, 모드는 현재까지도 중요한 작곡 요소로 쓰인다. 이처럼 모드와 모달 재즈의 관계를 통해 기존의 이론을 현 시대에 맞춰 새로운 방향의 이론이나 음악으로 창조될 때 그 영향력은 더욱 커지며 다양성과 독창성을 이루는 예술의 한 분야가 될 수 있다는 것을 알수 있었다. To create the new and various music which is pursued in modern age, it is needed to examine the music theory which has been developed as changing in the history through centuries while creating it into a new theory as changing according to current situation and music style on the base of theoretical in the past. Therefore, in this study, the value of modal jazz has been studied through the relation between mode and modal jazz, and <Kind Of Blue>(1959) album of Miles Davis which has been the origin of modal jazz as well as the mode which has been existed in western music since ancient Greece became a good case for this study, and the form, harmony, melody and rhythm, etc. have been analyzed as classifying the pieces in that album, including "So What", "Freddie Freeloader", in to theme and improvisation. In each work, the features of modal jazz were well brought out, as the progress and melody, which are using mode, were displayed distinctively, and the characteristic motes of mode were well written even in the improvisation. This album has influenced on pop, film OST and others as well as many jazz musicians since 1960s, and the mode is still used as one of the most important composition factors up to the present.As such, through relation between mode and modal jazz it might conclude that the influence of existing theory might increase and become one of the fields of art consisting variety and originality, when the existing theory was created into a theory of music with new direction as adjusted to the present age. I expect this thesis is to be the base for studying on the modal jazz, understanding the <Kind of Blue> album, Which has been the origin of modal jazz, and the importance of examining and developing the existing music theory into a new theory fit into the present age.

        근대 이전을 배경으로 한 역사 동화의 현황과 과제

        Historical fictions for children, these are based on the assumption that the starting of these fictions is out of literature part and has sensitive response for different arguments or educational intention. This paper is focused on how to effect the process of literary figuration and make historical fiction for children which has been created with background at former modern times Recently created fiction for children is categorized as follows. The first is that Dangun mythology is used as motive for creating the fiction for children. Though former times traditional fiction for children was based on a tale included in Samguk yusa, in these days historical fiction for children has special tendency that is created from background with mythology for establishment of a country. This paper pays attention to the process that mythology is being included in boundary of fiction for children. Besides, this research tries to understand how to continuously relate traditional tales from one of fictions for children with spatial background beyond Korean Peninsula. The second characteristic is that the recent fiction for children is approaching the living history using fictitious character. But hero for traditional fiction was ‘prince’ or ‘king’ who made political history which corresponded to establishment of a country and the rise and fall of empire. Especially fictitious character is not the nobility or royalty but children from the common people or servants. This is process to recover a concrete children life of old days and children’s radius of action of old days. At the same time, in these kinds of works, fiction writers for children state different angles which are cultural history with letters, characters and pictures. This tendency distinguishes works in these days from the former works which usually focus on political history. Due to the particular characteristics of fiction for children, it is not separated from educational intention for keeping pace with times. This paper makes a study for results and limitations of each work with focusing on those aspects.

        「아담이 눈뜰 때」의 정신분석학적 접근

        본고는 장정일의 초기 소설인 「아담이 눈뜰 때」를 정신분석학적 욕망 이론으로 분석함을 목적으로 한다. 「아담이 눈뜰 때」에 나타난 개인의 욕망이 사회의 요구와 어떻게 충돌하는 지에 대한 양상들은 고도 산업 사회가 더욱 첨예해진 지금, 되 돌이켜 볼 필요를 느끼게 된다. 「아담이 눈뜰 때」에는 외디푸스적 욕망이 뭉크 화집, 턴 테이블, 타자기라는 물건으로 전이된 양상이 나타난다. 이러한 욕망의 대체물인 세 가지 물건을 획득하는 과정은 미성년인 ‘나’가 사회의 그물망과 충돌하는 과정이다. 또한 ‘나’와 세 또래 여성과의 관계를 통해 나의 분신으로서의 세 명의 여성들이 사회와 어떻게 관계를 맺고 있는 지 역시 나타나 있다. 결론적으로 ‘나’가 뭉크 화집과 턴 테이블, 타자기라는 상징물로 대체된 욕망을 획득하는 과정이나 미선, 현재, 에이미와의 관계를 통해 미성년에서 성년으로 나아가는 과정은 지극히 알레고리적이며 작위적이다. 그럼에도 「아담이 눈뜰 때」는 장정일의 초기 소설로서 작가적 경험과 허구적 상상력을 조합하여 비교적 서사성을 획득한 성장소설의 모양새를 가지 고 있다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 장정일의 「아담이 눈뜰 때」는 후기 산업 사회에서 설 자리를 잃은 욕망으로 말미암아 개인의 정체성이 어떠한 혼란을 겪는지를 보며 줌과 동시에 1990년대 초반 변화하는 사회에 따라 달라지는 개인의 욕망 추구 과정을 과감하게 보여준다는 점에서 문학사적의의를 갖는다. This paper is purposing for analysis on Jang Jung Il’ n early novel, 「when Adam opens his eyes」 from psychoanalysis theory. 「when Adam opens his eyes」 shows clash between a desire of private person and a demand of society. This serves need about consideration for that kind of clash of more industrialized society in these days. Oedipus’ desire is changed as Munch book of paintings, turntable and typewriter in 「when Adam opens his eyes」. The process of obtaining these three lifeless things for replacement of desire shows clash of minor ‘I’ and tight mesh of society. Also the relationship between three girls who are one’s other self and society appears from via of relationship of ‘I’ and three girls of age. In conclusion, the process of obtaining Munch book of paintings, turntable and typewriter for replacement of desire and progressing from minor to adult with relationship of three girls who are Eunsun, Hyunjae and Amy are very allegorical and artificial. But Jang Jung Il’ early novel, 「when Adam opens his eyes」 is composed of harmonical combination with writer’s experience and fiction by imagination. Therefore 「when Adam opens his eyes」 has form of the bildungsroman with narration. Accordingly, Jang Jung Il’ 「when Adam opens his eyes」 which shows both confusion of individual identity from positionless desire in industrialized society and process about change of obtaining method for desire according to early 1990s fast changing society has meaning for the history of literature.

        1950, 60년대 청소년소설 형성과정 고찰

        This paper investigates various flow for the completion of the young adult novel. In detail, we focus on the literary works of texts of public education and young adult magazine. We can check how is ‘for young adult literature’ from the literary works on texts of middle and high school. Because these works are selected from the reference with adequate level and recommendation for young adult. literary work, 「Shownagi」 by Hwang, Soonwon is included so many times in Korean text for middle and high school. 「Shownagi」 by Hwang, Soonwon, 「Maealee」 by Lee, Joohong, 「YoRamgee」 by Oh, Youngsoo, 「Jokuk」 by Kim, Dongin (which are included in Middle school text), 「Sangroksoo」 by Sim, Hoon, 「Hwak」 by Hwang, Soonwon, 「Kumdangbaekhwa」 by Jung, Hansook, 「dungsinbool」 by Kim, Donglee (which are included in high school text) were repeatedly included over 10 years. These young adult literatures which are including pure literature contents of growing young adult in nature and the form of Bildungsroman are supplied for few but long time as canon. These young adult literatures which are included from 1950s are for literature education of middle and high school students. In final, these works have partly an effect on form of literary image of Korean young adult. Young adult in 1950s accepted a serial in magazines more actually and easily. One of them, we need to pay attention to magazine《Hwakwon》 which were published in 1952 for young adult. In viewpoint of focus on reader, the purpose of all text is to be read by reader in those days. The characters in Doosoo of 『Yalgaejun』, Namgoongdongja of 『Namgoongdongja』 which is follow-up work of 『Eunhaeygok』, Eukmanee of 『Eukmaneeymeeso』 which is a separate volume of 『Haebarageeyemeeso』 were well acquainted with those days’ reader. Also these works are different from purpose of full-fledged literature which seek sentence, literary style and form. These works are careless in terms of full-fledged literature of sentence, literary style. But these works have strong points in terms of speed and realistic narration. And these works as a popular novel have deterministic limit due to a fixed format and lacking of subjective narration. These cheerful novel have been declined from 1960s. The contents of paper focuses on only several flows for the long process of formation about young adult novel. Therefore it is not enough to coverthe trend of young adult readings. The study on the process of formation about young adult literature is not accomplished within the scope of full-fledged literature only. The higher and more complete study of the process of formation about young adult literature will be possible by the widening boundary of young adult popular literature in history and including the whole of popular culture.

        셀로니오스 몽크(Thelonious Monk)의 즉흥연주 작품들을 통하여 투영해 보는 20세기 재즈음악사의 문화적, 예술적 가치와 음악적 분석 연구

        본 연구는 셀로니오스 몽크(Thelonious Monk)의 작곡 스타일을 분석 및 연구하여 그의 연주의 기법과 패턴을 이해하고, 재즈 솔로 연주를 발전시키는데 사용한 아이디어를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 몽크가 끊임없는 변화와 실험정신으로 다양한 음악을 시도하였고, 결국은 메인스트림 재즈를 바탕으로 모든 장르를 수용하고 있다는 사실에 착안하여 몽크의 창작 재즈곡을 중심으로 연구하였다. 특히 그가 다양한 리듬을 구사하고, 치밀한 화성의 구조 위에 선율과 블루스적인 바운스(Bounce)감각을 보여주며, 기능 화성과 선법 화성을 사용하고, 동기(Motive)를 발전시키는 방법을 면밀히 연구하기 위해 작곡기법과 솔로 연주를 위주로 분석하였다. 그 방법으로 몽크가 작곡한 재즈곡들을 통해 리듬적인 요소를 활용한 테마의 반복에 대한 분석과 화성 기법 사용에 대한 연구를 하였다. 또한 다른 곡들을 통해 재즈 작곡과 피아노 솔로를 발전시키는 요소를 발견하기 위하여, 셋잇단음표의 사용과 리듬의 변형, 동기의 활용 위주로 연구하였다. This research is to analyze and study Thelonious Monk`s styles of composition, and understands the technique and patterns of his performance. Also, it finds what ideas Thelonious Monk used to develop jazz solo play. Monk tried variety kinds of music with endless experimenting spirit. Finally he finds out, all kinds of the musical genres are based on the mainstream jazz. By this observation, this research is mainly about the Monk`s creation of jazz music. Especially, he makes use of new tactics in rhythm, and shows the wonderful melody and the Blues Bounce sensitivity above the very detailed harmony structure. Also he used functional and modal harmony to develop the Motive in the music. To analyze Monk`s tactics and skills, it studies his improvisation and solo play. By this way, this research will show usage of repeating in theme and testing in modal harmony; which was applied in his jazz compositions, and how he used triplet and transformed rhythms in the piano solo performance. Finally, it tells influence of Monk in the jazz composition and the piano solo performance.
