무인운전 열차의 실내설비 및 승객 출입문 설계에 대한 고찰

The service running of driverless rail vehicle has been required by various social and commercial issue. Currently, the new domestic line between Bu-san and Gim-hae is plan to be provided the LRV(Light Rail Vehicle) with driverless operation firstly in domestic service. These driverless vehicle have some major properties to make it lower the operating and maintenance cost, however on the other side, it unavoidably raise some potential hazard to make it lower the passenger safety because it is hard to take care immediately in emergency state during vehicle running. Therefore it is highly requested that we should consider various conditions at design stage to manufacture and operate the safest vehicle. Therefore, in this paper, we will survey the design concept of vehicle interior facilities based on the previous experience, (1) The difference of interior facilities between normal and driverless vehicle, (2) design and operational concept of passenger side door function to find out best application for domestic line driverless vehicle.

HVAC system of DMU(Diesel Multiple Units) is closely related to passenger's comfort because of long distance and long travel. Because of difference pressure in longer Air-duct, it makes variation of air velocity from duct to passenger compartment. If variation of air velocity is increased, passenger's unpleasant feeling could be increased. Hence, UIC standard stipulates permissible air velocity from duct to comfort zone of passenger compartment. When a train designed by UIC standard and installed one HVAC unit is applied, a method to boost a passenger's comfort was studied by air even distribution. Air-duct was designed base on Air-flow Analysis and the variation of air velocity and temperature for passenger compartment were verified by Real DMU Vehicle Test.

Recently, the toilet of highway rest area, railway station has been changed to the space from unclean, uncomfortable and unavoidable entering area to clean, comfortable and usable facility area. Because the toilet which installed on train is used by a number of passenger, the design for toilet shall be proceeded to meet the variety needs of passenger. So, all facility items shall be installed on suitable position of toilet for passenger's convenience. Especially, the facility items for old and week, pregnant person shall be considered in advance. Also, the safety items shall be additionally applied to the toilet for disabled person. Finally, fire safety and HVAC components have to be applied to the toilet of train because of not opened area. In this study, the design of toilet for considering passenger's convenience, safety and so on is described on this paper refer to relevant regulations of domestic and international.
철도 차량의 HVAC 위치에 따른 공기조화 시스템 및 Air Duct 구조의 특성에 관한 고찰

The HVAC and the air duct is to make optimal indoor environment. By the HVAC position, method and the air duct construction, the important elements can affect on cooling performance, passengers" convenience, and energy efficiency. According to this, there are features, such as the indoor temperature distribution, cooling performance, velocity distribution from diffuser, tend to be come out variously. Also, comparing and analysing temperature distribution, cooling performance, air velocity, noise based on the real practical vehicle tests, it shows features in detail. Besides, it can lead to make design the system of HVAC & air duct effectively.
친환경 규제에 따른 철도차량 에어컨 냉매선정 및 특성에 대한 고찰

The HVAC takes the most important role in the Electric Multiple Unit for maintaining the healthy and comfortable indoor environment, however we also should consider the outdoor environment in terms of "environment"s friendly" because the refrigerant used for the HVAC system is strongly related with the issues of "the Protection of environment" such as "the Global Warming“ and ”The Ozone layer Depletion". Therefore we survey (1)the potentially harmful impact on human health and the environment through modification of the ozone layer and the Green house effect, and (2)the international and the domestic environment"s policies and (3)the potential alternative refrigerants usable for the EMU HVAC in terms of "the environment friendly properties", "the performance" and (4) "the applicabilities of the refrigerant for the EMU HVAC".
