        Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences and needs about sex education of university entrants in Korea, and to identify the relationship among the levels of sex-related knowledge, sexual attitude and reproductive health promoting behavior. Methods: Totally 188 freshman year of two different university were recruited to reply. The design of study was a exploratory research, using a cross-sectional survey. A self-administered questionnaire was used to measure the experiences and needs about sex education. The data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: 95.2% of the experienced sex education but the level of satisfaction about sex education was 38.3%. The sex education methods that subjects wanted were comfortable and interesting using videos and practices. Sex-related knowledge significantly differed according to sex. Sexual attitude differed according to the experience of sex, the line of dating and the route of information about sex. There was positive correlations among sex-related knowledge, sexual attitude and reproductive health promoting behavior of female entrants. Conclusion: So sex education program, composed of knowledge, attitude and behavior should be interesting and helpful in order to fit current trends and fulfill university entrants’ needs.

        간호대학생을 위한 전자태아감시 자가학습 교재의 개발 및 적용효과

        Purpose: This study aimed to develop supplementary material about the electronic fetal monitoring for nursing students, and to test the effects on electronic fetal monitoring related knowledge and confidence on nursing performance in delivery room. Methods: Totally 58 nursing students were recruited either experimental group (n=30) or a control group (n=28). A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed to test the effects on fetal monitoring related knowledge and confidence on nursing performance in delivery room. The supplementary material about the electronic fetal monitoring was developed based on Analysis, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Fetal monitoring related knowledge and confidence on nursing performance in delivery room were self-reported by the scales that author developed. Data were collected at pre-test and after the 6-week intervention. Results: There was significant difference in confidence on nursing performance in delivery room between two groups after intervention. Conclusion: These findings suggest the importance of the supplementary material about the electronic fetal monitoring for nursing students to improve confidence on nursing performance in delivery room.

        의학용어 직소 협동학습이 대학생의 학업성취도와 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the effects of jigsaw cooperative learning applied in medical terminology on academic achievement and self-directed learning in nursing students. Methods : A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed to test the effects. Totally 46 nursing students were recruited either experimental group(n=23) or a control group(n=23). Instructional design for medical terminology was developed based on analysis, design, development, implement, and evaluation(ADDIE) model. During 4 weeks of 5 hours a day, the jigsaw cooperative learning was applied to the experimental group and traditional lecture was performed to the control group. Results : The experimental group had significantly highly scored in academic achievement. Self-directed learning ability between the two groups were not significantly different. According to the satisfaction survey after the jigsaw cooperative learning of the experimental group, 20 of the participants( 87%) were satisfied. Conclusion : Jigsaw cooperative learning was found to be a useful teaching and learning method for improving academic achievement in medical terminology class. In addition, it is expected to contribute to nursing education by suggesting alternative teaching methods available.

        가정어린이집 교사의 운동수행 영향요인

        본 연구는 가정어린이집 교사의 운동수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위하여 서울에 소재한 가정어린이집 교사 218명을 대상으로 지각된 건강상태, 피로, 운동 자기효능감, 운동수행 정도를 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 규칙적인 운동을 하는 경우가 전체 중 22.5%였고 주로 하는 운동유형으로는 ‘걷기’였다. 경력이 높고, 주당 근무시간이 길고 직위가 원장인 경우, 피로가 더 높게 나타났다. 운동수행 정도를 종속변수로 하고, 일반적 특성을 독립변수로 투입하여 회귀분석을 한 결과, BMI, 결혼상태, 학력수준, 지각된 건강상태, 운동 자기효능감이 가정어린이집 교사의 운동수행에 유의한 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과를 기초로 하여 가정어린이집 교사의 특성을 고려한 운동 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to identify relationships between levels of fatigue, perceived health status, self-efficacy, and exercise performance, and to explore factors affecting exercise performance of home child care teachers in Korea. The method was descriptive research, utilizing a cross-sectional survey. A convenience sample of 218 home child care teachers aged 20 to 65 was selected. A self-administered questionnaire was used to measure general characteristics, fatigue levels, perceived health status, self-efficacy, and exercise performance. The data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. As a result, exercise performance of subjects was moderately proficient and the proportion in case of regular exercise was 22.5%. The major type of exercise reported was walking. Fatigue significantly differed according to careers, work hours per week, and job position. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed significant factors were BMI, marital status, education level, perceived health status, and self-efficacy on exercise performance of home child care teachers. This study suggests an exercise program tailored to home child care teachers should be developed.
