철도차량의 Kinematic Envelope에 관한 연구

Studied in this paper was the kinematic envelope of the railway vehicle to calculate the lateral displacement using the multi-body dynamic simulation program (VAMPIRE) and the BASS 501. The lateral displacement of railway vehicle is occurred by the clearance between wheel flange and rail, the track irregularity, the property of each suspension of vehicle and the cant of track etc. The results of analysis shown that Vehicle is not interfere with subway platform in any conditions namely the tare and full load condition, the wheel wear condition and the stationary and running of vehicle.

The greatest limitation of the shadow moire method is that when the sensitivity becomes high to microns, the visibility of the moire pattern is very low due to the Talbot effect. For high sensitivity and reliable deformation measurement, it is necessary to increase the Tabot distance of moire pattern. In this paper, experiments for various experimental conditions were performed, and the change of the visibility and the Talbot distance of moire pattern were evaluated The experimental results show that the visibility and distance of the moire pattern are affected not only by the sensitivity and incident angle of the moire condition but also by the observation angle. The moire pattern for the reference grating, the light source, and the distance L of the camera was not significantly affected by the measurement of slope of the speciment, but the slope was found to be significantly larger as the distance Z between the reference grating and the specimen increased.
Ramp장치를 이용한 철도차량 거동모드 주파수에 관한 연구

The railway vehicle is a multi-body system running on the track which consists of carbody, bogie and wheelset, each of components is connected with rigid mass, spring and damper. each of components has translation motions of longitudinal (X axis), lateral(Y axis) and vertical(Z axis) direction, and rotation motions of X, Y, Z axis which are named Rolling, Pitching and Yawing. The vibration mode of railway vehicle is difficult to find the characteristics of motion during the operation on the track because these happen to independence or duplication motion caused by vehicle, wheel/rail and track irregularity etc. This paper presents the result of ramp test to show the bounce, roll, pitch and yaw mode frequency of the railway vehicle.

The shadow moire method is a measurement using a new periodic interference pattern caused by the interference of two gratings. Therefore, the visibility of Moire patterns is very important. In the measurement using a metal specimen, a dark image is obtained because of the light entering the camera due to the regular reflection. It is difficult to confirm moire patterns in these images. Therefore, in this paper, we induced scattered reflection by applying artificial roughness through spraying of matte white paint. In addition, we proposed a method to minimize the distortion caused by spraying. This spray method was applied to the specimen of the mirror to solve the visual degradation due to the specular reflection. The flat specimens made in this way were found to have significantly less distortion than the metal specimens. These flat specimens will enhance the reliability of the study as a basis for the development of high sensitivity shadow moire measurements. In addition, the plastic deformation and the application of the spray method were used to make specimens with arbitrary deformation that could be measured with micro deformation. If plastic thermal deformation is used, both excessive deformation and micro deformation can be realized. In the case of applied paint spraying, the manufacturing process is cumbersome, but it is possible to fabricate a deformation more micro than that of a specimen by using thermal deformation of plastic.

The ride comfort means the level of comfort for passenger on the train from vibration caused by external force such as track irregularity, train speed. the manner in which the passenger experiences ride comfort differs depending on the frequency and amplitude of the vibrations. the airspring is one of the suspension parts of railway vehicle and play an important rule to improve the ride comfort. To get soft vertical stiffness of the air spring, every air spring has the auxiliary air reservoir. the orifice is fitted in the air feed connection between the air spring and the auxiliary air reservoir, which provides damping control of the vertical oscillation of car-body. This paper presents the result of wedge test to show the damping performance of vibration of the railway vehicle by the difference of orifice diameter.

철도차량에서 횡풍(Cross Wind)은 차량의 주행 안정에 영향을 미치는 주요한 인자중의 하나이다. 특히 고속 주행 시 차량 측면에 작용하는 횡풍은 열차 전복의 원인이 되기도 한다. 해외에서는 강풍이나 돌풍에 의해 철도 차량이 전복되는 사고 사례가 보고되기도 했다. 유럽에서는 차량의 운행속도와 횡풍과의 관계를 나타내는 운행속도별 풍속특성 선도(Characteristic Wind Curve, CWC)을 기준으로 차량의 안정 여부를 판단하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유럽규격(EN14067, TSI)에 따른 횡풍 안전성 해석 결과를 나타내었다. 국내 고속 철도 차량은 직선 및 곡선 구간에서 CWC선도를 만족한 해석결과가 도출됨으로써 횡풍에 대해 충분히 안정성을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. The cross wind is one of the principal factors which effect on the running stability of the train. Especially when train operates with high speed, the cross wind acting on the carbody side area might be the cause of the overturning of vehicle. The characteristic wind curve (CWC) has been applied to evaluate the stability of the train on the cross wind in Europe. In this paper, the cross wind stability according to the European standard has been studied. The Chinese hat method based on the European standard has been applied to consider the gust wind condition. The KTX-sanchon has sufficient stability for the cross wind as met the criterion of CWC.
