초음파에 의한 상변화 물질의 용융촉진 과정 분석 및 가시화

This study analyzed the melting process of solid-liquid phase change material (PCM) and applied the visualization to investigation of heat transfer by ultrasonic vibrations. For heating condition, we considered the constant heat flux condition and investigated the melting process of a PCM from a heated vertical wall for the following; one without ultrasonic vibrations (natural melting) and the other with ultrasonic vibrations. in the present study, heat flow was measured in the absence of and in the presnece of acoustic streaming. This streaming produced by ultrasonic vibrations was visualized by a particle image veiocimetry (PIV) and a thermal infrared camera. Ther experimental results revealed that acoustic streaming could accelerate the melting process as much as 2.5 times, compared to the rate of the melting without ultrasonic vibrations. Also, temperature and Nusselt numbers over time provided conclusive evidence of the important role of acoustic streaming on the melting phenomena of the PCM.
유해물질 제거를 위한 국소배기장치 후드의 흡입력 증가에 관한 연구

This study investigates on the inhalation force improvements of hood consisted one of the local ventilation systems attached the new device named as gas-guidance-device for removed a pollution source. The numerical method applying finite element method is calculated the velocity and pressure distributions of a moving fluid at the beginning and the inside of a hood with and without the gas-guidance-device in hood. And, the experimental study is measured the wind velocity using the anemometer at the same condition of numerical study. Also, the optimum shape of gas-guidance-device which is suitable for hood shape derived from the numerical and experimental results. The results of this study is supplied the important data to an industrial field for control of a pollution source in the engineering aspect. Moreover, the introduced technique of hood attached the gas-guidance-device is very useful to remove the harmful materials such as dust and waste happened in the manufacturing factory.
연소실험 임무수행을 위한 KMSL 큐브위성 과학 탑재체의 구조 안전성 검토에 관한 전산해석 연구

In this study, the structural stability of a scientific payload installed on a KMSL cubesatellite for combustion experiment mission was investigated by a computational analysis. A scientific payload was preliminary design based on the design criteria of the pressure vessel, and linear structure analysis was performed using ANSYS V19.2 to verify the stability. As a result of this study, it was indicated that most of the maximum equivalent stress and strain occured in the center of the payload optical window. However, the payload designed with a minimum MOS of 2.94 has been shown to be structurally stable and robust under the given environmental conditions. Also the payload optical window can be damaged when the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the payload is 5 atm<sub>abs</sub>.
자동차 타이어용 금형의 열변형 예측에 관한 수치해석적 연구

In the present study, numerical analysis applying a finite element method(FEM) is used to predict the thermal strain of mold for automobile tire. To investigate the thermal strain and characteristic of Aluminum(Al) alloy mold, it is performed that the contraction rates and stress occurred by temperature distributions on the inside of Al alloy mold during the cooling process were calculated from the numerical works. Also, numerical results of Al alloy mold were compared with those of mild steel mold in order to obtain the improved precision and good quality of mold. Therefore, in the present study, the results of numerical analysis are presented to help to make the effective and the best mold products.
열전소자가 적용된 냉 · 온수 매트용 전열 모듈의 기초 열설계에 관한 수치해석적 연구

In this study, the thermal characteristics of cold and hot water mattress units equipped with thermoelectric modules were investigated via numerical analyses. Cold and hot water mattress products that are currently in existence use manual methods requiring refrigerants to be added to the hot water boiler. However, the cold and hot water mattress units using thermoelectric modules can provide improved efficiency via energy savings and actively resolving environmental pollution problems. To determine the efficiency of the thermoelectric module, the mattress was modeled and its efficiency was analyzed for the cooling and heating processes using two 100-W-class and one 200-W-class thermoelectric modules, respectively. From the results of this study, it was confirmed that when two 100-W-class modules were used, the application area was larger than when a single 200-W-class module was used, with uniform temperature distribution and improved performance compared to existing products in terms of electrical energy.
수치해석을 이용한 Tire Mold용 Al 금형의 온도분포 해석에 관한 연구

The plant of Al alloy mold must be established to produce the good quality tires. But mild steel molds are used as tire mold which is consist of one piece. This type of metal mold is more economic in the total cost but the quality of product is not good. Therefore, in the present study, Al alloy mold which consist of six pieces was introduced. And, numerical work using a finite element method (FEM) was applied to analyze that Al alloy mold was happened the characteristics of temperature distributions. Also, the contraction rate occurred by temperature distributions investigated to predict the accurate measurement variations of Al alloy mold.
