        한우등심의 이화학적 및 관능특성에 미치는 감귤박의 영향

        본 연구는 감귤박 급여가 한우등심의 이화학적 특성 및 기호성에 미치는 영향을 연구할 목적으로 수행하였다. 시료는 감귤박을 급여하지 않은 한우등심(TMR-0)과 감귤박을 급여한 한우등심(TMR-1)으로 하였다. TMR-0는 비육우용 배합사료와 건초를 분리 급여하면서 관행적으로 사육하였으며, TMR-1은 육성기 및 비육전기 일부(약 17개월)는 TMR-0와 같은 방법으로 사육한 후 나머지 10개월(비육전기 및 후기) 동안은 감귤부산물 TMR 사료를 급여하였다. 한우등심의 명도, 적색도 및 황색도는 TMR-0 및 TMR-1 사이에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. pH는 TMR-1이 TMR-0보다 유의적으로 낮았으며, VBN함량, TBARS값 및 EDA는 TMR-0 및 TMR-1 사이에 유의적인 차이가 없었다(p<0.05). 한우등심의 보수력, 동결감량 및 가열감량은 TMR-0 및 TMR-1사이에 유의적인 차이는 없었지만, 해동감량은 TMR-0(7.35%)가 TMR-1(3.04%)보다 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 한우등심의 경도는 TMR-0가 TMR-1보다 높고, 탄성은 TMR-1이 TMR-0보다 유의적으로 높았으며, 응집성, 뭉침성, 저작성 및 전단력은 TMR-0 및 TMR-1 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 저장 중 pH 및 VBN 함량은 TMR-0 및 TMR-1사이에 유의적인 차이가 없었지만, TBARS값은 저장 4주째 TMR-1이 TMR-0보다 유의적으로 낮았다(p<0.05). 생육의 색깔 및 향기는 TMR-0 및 TMR-1 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 가열육의 풍미 및 연도는 TMR-1이 TMR-0보다 유의적으로 우수하였으며, 맛, 다즙성 및 전체적인 기호도는 TMR-0 및 TMR-1 사이에 유의성이 없었다(p<0.05). The purpose of this research is to study the effects of feeding dietary citrus byproducts TMR (total mixed ration) on physicochemical properties and sensory characteristics of Korean native beef loin (KNBL). The samples for experiment consist of the KNBL not fed with citrus byproducts (TMR-0) and the KNBL fed with citrus byproducts during fattening period (TMR-1). The control (TMR-0) KNBL was fed by general practical feeding (roughages and concentrates were fed separately), while the TMR-1 KNBL was fed by the same as TMR-0 until 17 months yearling but was fed by citrus byproducts feeding for 10 months after that. The $L^*(lightness),\;a^*(redness)\;and\;b^*(yellowness)$ value were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1. The pH of TMR-1 was lower than that of TMR-0 (p<0.05), the VBN content, TBARS value and EDA were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1. The water holding capacity, frozen loss and cooking loss were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1, but thawing loss of TMR-0 was higher than that of TMR-1 (p<0.05). The hardness of TMR-0 was higher than that of TMR-1, and the springiness of TMR-1 was higher than that of TMR-0 (p<0.05), but the cohesiveness, gumminess, chewiness and shear force were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1. The pH and VBN content during storage were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1, but the TBARS value of TMR-1 stored during 4 weeks was lower than that of TMR-0 (p<0.05). In case of sensory score, the color and aroma of raw meat, and the taste, juiciness and palatability of cooked meat were not significantly different between TMR-0 and TMR-1. But the flavor and tenderness of TMR-1 were superior than those of TMR-0 (p<0.05)

        육성비육돈에 대한 사료첨가제 첨가 급여시험 - 생균제의 첨가가 육성비육돈의 성장과 육질에 미치는 영향 -

        This research was conducted to investigate the effects on the growth performance, feed intake, feed conversion and carcass characteristics of the growing-finishing pigs with 4 kinds of feed additives wmposed of probiotics which were used in the swine farm of ChejuDo area. Two experiments were conducted in the W-farm (high energy and protein, Spring) and B-farm(low energy and protein, Summer). The experiment was designed with 5 treatments according to the kinds of additives used(T; control, A; Biopro, B; Ataphon-o, C; YC-2000, D; Photo-plus). In the W-farm experiment, 75 three-way crossbred pigs weighing average 38㎏ were randomized with 3 replications for 102 days. In the B-farm experiment, 105 three-way crossbred pigs weighing average 33㎏ were randomized with 3 replications for 103 days. Daily weight gains were increased a little by supplementing the probiotics in comparison with control(T). But there were not significant differences among the treated goups. There were no differences in feed intake among treatments in the W-farm. But in the B-farm a little inaease in feed intake was observed in the probiotics group. However, feed conversion rates were somewhat improved by the probiotics compared to control(T) in the W-farm, but they were not significantly different. Carcass weight and percentage were increased a little in the pigs fed the probiotics compared to the control (T). The pigs fed probiotics A and B showed apparently higher carcass weights and rates without statistical differences compared to the others. In the W-farm the symptom of overfattening was observed in the control(T) and the treatment C. However, the backfat thicknesses of the treatment A, B and D were suitable. In the B-farm the backfat thicknesses of the control(T) and the treatment C were poor and scanty, but those of the treatment A, B and D resulted in suitable thickness. According to the carcass Bade analysis, the carcass grades of the experimental pigs showed the following order; A $gt; B $gt; D $gt; C $gt; Control(T). The improvement of carcass grade was made by the dietary probiotics. According to the result of the taste panel evaluation, the dietary probiotics made a good effect on the meat colour and marbling, tenderness, meat flavour and meat juiciness of the pork.

        감귤부산물 silage 의 수분함량 및 첨가물의 첨가가 품질과 DM 소화율에 미치는 영향

        To utilize citrus byproducts for animal feeds two different silages were made 1) using citrus peel 2) using citrus pulp mixture. The experimental design included 12 treatments, six for citrus peel silage and six for citrus pulp mixture silage, then treatments were allocated according to sun-drying and urea, barley straw and NaOH treated straw additions. Chemical composition, pH, organic acid and NBDMD were examined and treatments compared. Sun-drying (3 days) citrus waste reduced the moisture content by 6-10%. Addition of barley straw reduced the moisture content of the two silages by 4-8%. The content of protein was increased 1.25-1.63% by the urea addition of 0.6% of the silage weight. Crude fiber was increased 4-5% by the addition of 8-10% barley straw, and also increased 7-8% by the addition of 16-21% barley straw. But the change in the other ingredients by the addition of barley straw was not found, except NFE wait decreased. The pH of the non-treated silage was 3.4-4.7, and that was increased by the addition of urea and NaOH. The content of organic acid was changed by the addition of urea as follows: (1) the content of lactic acid was lowered, and (2) L.A./T.A. was decreased. But by the addition of 8-10% barley straw by the silage weight, the content or lactic acid was increased and the standard of L.A./T.A. was heightened. On the contrary, it showed the tendency of decreasing in the case of the addition of 16-20% barley straw. The range of NBDMD of raw citrus byproducts was 79.64-81.11%. That of the citrus byproducts silage was increased by the addition of urea (84.16-88.08%), and decreased by the addition of barley straw (62.4-73.16%). The addition of urea and alkali treated straw significantly increased digestibility especially in pulp mixture silage but had the reverse effect on silage quality.

        제주도 토종 돼지고기의 품질에 영향을 미치는 건조 감귤 부산물 급여 효과

        This study was carried out to investigate the possibility for utilization and the effectiveness of citrus byproducts on the nutritional composition and sensory score of Jejudo native pig meat. The groups are consisting of the Jejudo native pig loin without citrus byproduct ($JNP-T_0$) and the Jejudo native pig loin fed with 8% and 15% citrus byproduct during growing and fattening period($JNP-T_1$). The contents of moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude ash, calorie, cholesterol content Mg, P, K, Na, vitamin $B_1\;and\;B_2$, total amino acid, and total free amino acid content were not significantly different between $JNP-T_0$ and $JNP-T_1$(p>0.05). It was found that palmitic acid($25.301{\sim}27.403%$) was the highest one among saturated fatty acid while oleic acid($42.234{\sim}43.061%$) was the highest among unsaturated fatty acid in both groups. In case of sensory score, the color and aroma of raw meat, and the flavor preference of boiled meat of $JNP-T_0$ were higher than those of $JNP-T_1$(p<0.05). But the taste, texture, juiciness and palatability of boiled meat were not influenced by feeding of citrus byproduct.

        감귤 부산물 첨가 사료를 장기간 급여한 교잡종 돼지고기의 성분 특성

        The purpose of this research was to study the chemical compositions of pork for crossbred pig (female, 198 days old $102{\sim}118kg$) that were fed with tangerine byproduct from pregnancy through the whole rearing period. The samples for this study consisted of the pork from give the number of control pigs not fed with tangerine byproduct($T_0$), and the pork from give the number of study pigs fed with 8% tangerine byproduct during the whole breeding period, from the early pregnancy through the young, growing and finishing periods ($T_1$). Backfat thickness of the crossbred pigs was significantly decreased by feeding tangerine byproduct (p<0.05). The proximate composition, minerals, total amino acid, saturated fatty acid vs. unsaturated fatty acid and vitamin $B_2$ contents of loins were not significantly different among $T_0\;and\;T_1$, (p>0.05). Although those differences were not significant statistically, the tangerine byproduct tended to increase the amount of vitamin $B_1$, and decrease the crude fat and cholesterol contents.

        감귤부산물의 사료화에 관한 연구 5 . 면양에 의한 감귤가공 부산물사일리지의 소화율 및 반추위액의 pH 와 total - VFA 농도 변화

        In order to examine the value of citrus byproducts as livestock feed, 4 types of CBS were made: T1; wet CMS with high moisture. T?; pre-wilted CMS with low moisture. T3; wet CPS with high moisture. T4; pre-wilted CPS with low moisture. Digestion trials were carried with 3 sheep equipped with rumen fistulars. Rumen liquor pH and total VFA were investigated during the trial period. The daily intake of the trial feed (CBS+hay) was 0.76-0.78㎏ DM (1.8-1.9% by body wt.). Feeding CBS showed the effect of increasing the feed. intake. Compared with high moisture CBS, low moisture CBS increased feed intake and digestibility, and was weak in the tendency of lowering rumen liquor pH. Compared with CPS, CMS showed a tendency more similar to low moisture CBS. Feeding CBS had the effect of increasing urine excretion, water intake and digestibility of DM and DNFE. When fed CBS the pH and total VFA in rumen liquor were lower than when fed hay. Such tendency was shown in the case of feeding high moisture CBS compared to low moisture CBS. The digestibility of CBS had no relationship with pH, but there was a statistical significant correlation between total VFA in rumen liquor and digestibility of CBS. It appears from the results of these trials in the making and utilization of CBS that CMS was better in all respects than CPS and prewilted CBS with low moisture (about 76%) was more effective than wet CBS with high moisture (about 83%).

        『용의 날개』: 다문화 문학과 전형의 극복

        Multiculturalism, multicultural education, and multicultural literature are all closely related one another in the sense that multicultural education is an effort to put multiculturalism into practice and multicultural literature is an important tool for multicultural education. If a multicultural literary work perpetuates stereotypes and expresses racial prejudices, it can distort historical reality and also cause pain and embarrassment to individual members of the group to whom racial stereotyping is unjustly applied. Since we do not want provide children with erroneous or distorted stereotypes, it is crucial to discuss and eliminate perpetuated stereotypes when we teach multicultural literature in the classroom. As a multicultural writer, Laurence Yep sets one of his goals “to counter various stereotypes” in his Dragonwings, and shows the child`s eyes help the readers overcome and subvert stereotypical thoughts. When the novel, Dragonwings is adapted into a play, Yep chooses the form of memory play that focalizes the child`s point of view. Through the child`s eyes overcoming stereotypes is revealed on both parts of American “white demon” and Chinese Americans.

          The purpose of this study is to help fashion design planning through the investigation about basic factors and characteristics of sexual syndrome in recent men"s fashion. This study review previous studies, newspapers and internet articles about sexual syndrome by focusing on domestic fashion. The background of the syndromes consists of changes in gender roles, values and marketing strategies. Young men who is not bound to classic sexual boundaries represent free sensitivities and seem to produce other various phenomenons. There are metrosexual, ubersexual and crossexual in recent men"s sexual syndromes. The various sexual syndromes are not only the universal phenomenon but this shows the deep tendency of artifice by medias and companies. The sexual syndromes show modern esthetic sense in men"s fashion and taste of the time and culture.

        『세일즈맨의 죽음』에 나타난 성과 주체와 소진의 양상

        The aim of this study is to examine Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman through the lens of the achievement subject in the Burnout Society. Willy, excessively pursuing material success in American capitalistic society, is seized by severe fatigue and suffers from neurological illnesses like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and borderline personality disorder (BPD). As an example of an adult ADHD, Willy shows attention problems with driving a car on various occasions, threatening his own life and others’. As core traits of BPD, fears of abandonment, delusions, and suicidal attempts are repeatedly shown in Willy, all of which cause serious conflicts and communication problems among family members. These two neurological illnesses such as ADHD and BPD represented in the play help to reveal destructive effects of American dream on its blind pursuer. In conclusion, the denial of Biff to follow Willy’s material dream, and the desire to go to the West, away from the city shows that Biff performs the power of active negation to the “divisive tiredness” of Willy’s.
